@@lanakaram7710 SAT is hard but it's not the hardest test out there and a high score is absolutely attainable. how i think about it is...if __ person can get the score, i can as well. it's worth all the stress and more because the score opens the door to so many opportunities down the line (colleges, scholarships, etc) dedicate the time, trust that hard work PAYS off.

just took june SAT and in my opinion having my timer on did help me personally A LOT it helped me know how much time i was spending on a question and if i spent longer than a certain amount of time on a question i flagged it for review at the end. I would rather spend my time KNOWING i got the easy questions right vs taking a long time on ones that are more challenging for me / might not get right even if i spent time on it yk? anyways thats my advice

Hey, i have my test in 2 days and I'm very nervous. There isn't much consistency in my practice tests but i usually score in the 1200 range. I REALLY struggle with long passages (especially sciene) and tricky math questions. I got 1130 on my last test. Please help!

It affects student's ability to accurately test with a real practice test, especially since there are only 4 available.

I’ve been so busy studying for AP exams and EC’s I almost forgot my SAT is on the 4th and I have barely studied at all 😭 I don’t feel too bad about the English section but I haven’t had a math class for nearly 2 months now (honors pre calc) and I’ve barely gotten through reviewing the concepts
i feel you on this one!! make sure to brush up on equation of the circle, exponent rules, sohcahtoa, and perimeter/area/volume scale factors especially! youll also want to make sure that you're comfortable with solving those equations where you have a constant value in them like a or b or h!

i’m so cooked bro (i’m attending college during the summer and trying to get this thing called bright futures scholarship-it can cover either 100% tuition or 75% tuition. for 75% tuition, i need at least a 1210 on the SAT. last time i took it i got an 1180-i’m taking it again today and this is only the third ever time i’m taking the SAT)

for the most part yes! on the reading and writing section, it's all multiple choice. for the math section, there will be a few free response questions but i wouldn't worry too much about those. goodluck :)
If oyu know that you're strong with the reading section, then u don't really need to start at q15 on the first section bc the first section is super easy. The second section tho...

My teacher told me that I have almost an upper intermediate level but I'm still not sure that I will able to pass this exam. I've never had troubles with Math but with English...
with english, the best thing you can do to bag up quick points is to learn grammar rules and to build vocabulary! the best way to truly prepare is by reading literature

is Preptly really helpful? i know the questions types and the format of the exam, but, does the app include relevant questions that match with the real exam? if so, i will purchase it
hey!! preptly is PERFECT for mastering pacing on this exam which is extremely important. i use it for mostly drills which helps me to familiarize myself with the content and it helps me to become more confident with the question types i know i’m going to encounter on my actual dsat! if you’re in the need for material to study..definitely check out the resources link in my description!

if you're just starting out.. id recommend taking one of the bluebook practice tests (5 or 6 because they're the most updated)

then based on your score, find the areas you need to make the most improvement in and locate that section on khan academy's digital sat test prep page: www.khanacademy.org/test-prep/digital-sat
work through the section until you feel confident

everyone starts somewhere so please don't be discouraged :) start using collegeboard's sat question bank, filter to the areas you need to work on and keep working through practice questions to familiarize yourself with the SAT's content. if and when you get stuck on a question, screenshot the question and paste it into the "sat help chat" in the scholar's circle discord community (it helps!!) goodluck, i hope that helped. lmk if you have any other questions or need the links to resources i just mentioned, bless

I just took my SAT today and like bro, why is the UI so ad? The passages and questions they have is literally the same they have in Khan academy except that Khan academy has a WAYY better UI that makes it easier to switch between passage and question without loosing focus. Maybe thats just me tho

I have a question about how much I should be studying. One of the practice tests I took from MEK, which I'm using as a benchmark, was 1340; this score was not the highest of the ones that I've taken, but the higher ones had comparatively easier math sections (like going from 680-780). Now I have 31 days left until the sat. I've started to keep track of what topics I'm getting wrong for English and math, but it's not enough. I've set a plan for myself to do 1 hour 30-55 min study sessions for each subject every other day, while the other days I have SAT practice tests in person, which afterwards we go over in class. In conclusion, I just wanna know how much I should be studying lol, and any help would be greatly appreciated :)
study as much as you need to to get to the point where you need to get, there's not a finite amount of time of studying that will get you a score.. it varies for every student :) start using collegeboard's sat question bank, filter to the areas you need to work on and keep working through practice questions to familiarize yourself with the SAT's content. if and when you get stuck on a question, screenshot the question and paste it into the "sat help chat" in the scholar's circle discord community (it helps!!) goodluck, i hope that helped. lmk if you have any other questions or need the links to resources i just mentioned, bless
