Beautiful footage of the trail. The clarity is amazing. Thank you for sharing. I think there’s some people that don’t realize the hard work that musicians do and this is a prime example. From equipment, to instrument maintenance, to maintaining focus on doing show after show and on each performance coming out like it’s the first time doing it. I am truly amazed at the amount of patience and dedication it takes and many, many kudos to you and everyone to keep on keeping on. The drum kit looks amazing and great job on it. It’s super interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes with the technical parts of a tour. Loved the end, you maintain such a positive, happy attitude despite having such a long day. We can all take a lesson from that. Enjoy, and be well brother. Looking forward to seeing you soon 😘💚
Awesome video loved the nature walk! Sweet drum kit! Can't wait to hear it live! And loved CC's last comment on maybe it's coming back!! Gave me a good chuckle!! Love you see you soon!!💜💚💋
Your kit looked awesome and sounded amazing live in St. Pete Florida... glad you guys still like to tour & entertain the fans! Nothing but a good time 🤘🤘🤘😁
Dude...so good to see C.C. in a vlog. Poison was the band of my formative years as a young musician. I became a drummer (and by the way Rikki I'm still up for coming on stage to rock a song with the first band that ever meant anything to me lol) however, ironically C.C. was my first and biggest influence EVER! He is like my Michael Jordan. Anyway I love the vlogs Rikki. It's something I've dreamed of for forever to get a glimpse at the lives of my heroes!!! Much love, Joshua
I concur with everything you said, although my I'm not yet confident enough with my skills to attempt an homage. Thirty years ago I worshipped C.C. thinking he was just about as cool as one can get, and somewhat still do, but God damn he's lookin' rough these days.
C.C. has always been the life of the party, hilarious guy. Even after running miles and miles, he's still a character.. I can't help but get a smile everytime I see those 4 cats together, especially CC but then again I'm biased cause I've been playing guitar since 83 and he's always been a big influence
You are really inspiring me to find my inner peace and calm, by enjoying the moment. Thank you. Also, after all this time in rock n roll, no one would be surprised if you just phoned it in, just show up, play and GTFO. But you love what you do. You are serious about your sound, the music and giving 100%. Humbling.
Cool man. Cool seeing your spare time stuff, the backstage stuff and C.C. I’m sure he gets tired of hearing this, but Talk Dirty was the first “real” song I ever learned on electric guitar. I was surprised to see you doing those decals yourself. \m/
Hey Rickki I think it would be awesome to do the Poison letters in gold leaf stickers or outline you're primary color in gold leaf. That would look killer on stage and the lights reflecting off of them. God bless and Rock 'N' Roll
Hey Rikki, Hepco & Becker make some beautiful saddlebags just for the Bobber; if you’re looking for more packing space. They’re the only ones I found that really fit the Bobber look, IMO.
When I was younger u would work all week and come Friday night I'd hop on my bike and ride as far as I could and just check out whatever town I ended up in. Lots of fun. Be careful out there brother
i love it, glad to c.c. in it too and i really enjoyed the other nite when you went live , hearing the drums is so different than listening up front, you and dean are the only ones that has done this and its so cool, keep it up !
That was really cool Ricky So Much appreciated enjoy watching stuff from your tour to that's cool only thing I really wished you guys would come out to Portland Oregon again you put one hell of a good show on at the Moda Center with Def Leppard thanks Ricky
Thanks for giving Indiana some love. Saw you guys that night. Spectacular. Thank you for a high energy show. One question. Rikki, did you do the video sequence that opened the show? That was cool.
We saw the stainless kit in Atlanta, and now you’re gonna have wood for us in Nashville?! LOL awesome! Not sure how it can get any better than what we already saw but can’t wait to see.

yes set looks great was there Thurs you sounded fantastic but might be a little bias you and Tico are my favorite drummers and yes Fall Creek is an neat place Thanks CC for the pop on
6:34 It’s cool the dude takes pride in his tools and works on it himself. Better than the other musicians who don’t care about the stuff and act like they don’t care that they have the best job in the world. Lol
awesome vid as always n great editing...loved seeing cc in there funny as always ..n did i see bobby come on or was that crew lol ...when u gonna do a vlog from the drums that would be kick ass ...blessed be man n keep rockin
on the 2020 Poison tour, could you do a Behind the Scenes Vlog at every venue like Def Leppard has been doing? Look up “Def Leppard Hits...” if you haven’t seen them already. there’s not really any poison behind the scenes stuff and there should be!!
Bro. Hey im a double lower limb amputee. And a drummer for 30 yrs now. I use a bar to hit bass. You were one of the drummers who inspired me to play. Man ive been honored to open for motorhead bls dope and many others. Now im playin at church eaxh week. Anywayz i wanna offer, if you are ever in illinois, to play for ya. To show ya what you inspired. Idk if you would take me up on this offer. But id love to play for ya. I wanna get word out that even a guy w no legs can play his arse off.... mr zakk wylde told me i beat the hell outa those drums. Best compliment ever... rock on bro
I was waiting for him to explain a little or elaborate on actual reasons for going back to wood drums. I guess it just isn’t for what he is trying to do, the steel drums that is. Or did I miss it?
Saw y’all in Nashville, I was the kid in the front row. You tried to throw you drum stick at me and the guy behind me jumped over me and got it. I want to spend a day with all of y’all! I want to be Bret in a Poison tribute band one day.
When you get a moment to yourself Rikki, check out my friend's company, Red Rock Drums Australia - he hand makes timber stave drums from Aussie woods - incredible sounding snares and kits - as used by Aerosmith and a bunch of others. They're made just down the road from me, and I recently produced a mini-documentary on them for our TV show 'Live at Spectrum'. Anyway, I think you'd really dig them, being a drum hardware lover, especially considering you've returned to wood... and you can't beat stave building methods. Just Googleize them... even just for the interest!
Hey Rikki I made a comment on ur video of Poison's live show I didnt kno u battled 4 stage cancer bro so Im very sorry bout what I said in my ignorance hope u can forgive me
Hey.. I really liked your drumming in poison the early days, but dude, there is no excuse for you not to be setting up your own kits and getting your sound and feel right for yourself! did you forget the time when you would never let anyone mess with your kit and your sound?!!!!! you did everything yourself because you had to! you knew how it all should be for you to play and feel and sound right! you dont have to be the rock star all the time.. thats all bullshit, and you know it.. just be RIKKI ROCKETT AND PLAY THE WAY YOU USED TO!!! ~
It's good to see my buddy Todd Trent! My Ludwigs still retain an Ontario Music sticker! Miss that place and everyone there soooo much!
I don't care if this is 4yrs old.. I'm happy I met you on the tube.. Keep Rocking...
Im so excited to be apart of the EARLY SUPPORT CREW. I am ready for this journey my friend xxoo

Beautiful kit man! Awesome that you came back to wood! Acrylic and metal have their place, but there is nothing like the natural wood sound! #dwdrums
another cool video, I love seeing the behind the scenes footage, and pretty cool seeing CC in your vlog, see ya round like a doughnut!
Thank you for the vlogs and the live videos from the concerts Poison Rules

I was 12 when you were using dw on the Open Up And Say Ahhhh album.
Finally got some in 2004, and have been using them ever since....

Thanks for giving Indiana some love. Saw you guys that night. Spectacular. Thank you for a high energy show. One question. Rikki, did you do the video sequence that opened the show? That was cool.
Dude you sound exactly like me, I love exploring. You should take a little time and explore South Louisiana. It's beautiful.
We saw the stainless kit in Atlanta, and now you’re gonna have wood for us in Nashville?! LOL awesome! Not sure how it can get any better than what we already saw but can’t wait to see.

#Poisond4eva
Episode? Or episoide? Title has me confused. Great vid!
I was wondering if you were going to switch. Sweet kit for sure, but they just didn't seem to sound right.
I was waiting for him to explain a little or elaborate on actual reasons for going back to wood drums. I guess it just isn’t for what he is trying to do, the steel drums that is. Or did I miss it?
This guy is one totally Kool Kat. !!!!!
we got a badass Eagle Bike Company here in Columbus Ohio if you ever come back here in town look it up
Saw y’all in Nashville, I was the kid in the front row. You tried to throw you drum stick at me and the guy behind me jumped over me and got it. I want to spend a day with all of y’all! I want to be Bret in a Poison tribute band one day.

Hey Rikki, did ya stick with the S.S.

that is my life long dream to meet Rikki he is such a awesome drummer an roll model
Seriously cool video
You do BJJ? Oss.
Nice Stuff ...
So why did he go back to wood drums? I never heard the reason.
Awesome episode
I'm new here. I was not a Poison fan. But I am an Indian fan. 😎

Beautiful. Go back to your hard hitting deeper sound brother. Like Bonham and Tommy lee.
Wow.... Only for this intro..... XDD gg rikki
Yeah!
CC!!!
See you thurs❤
I never heard a discussion on why he went back to what drums. So the title of this video is misleading.
🤘
Hey Rikki I made a comment on ur video of Poison's live show I didnt kno u battled 4 stage cancer bro so Im very sorry bout what I said in my ignorance hope u can forgive me
That's c.c!?!?! I thought he'd have the white hair
Get someone to record video from stage left during your show.
Can I have the stainless steel drums please?
C.C. pick up that guitar and talk to me!!!
That's what drum techs do, they tune the drums. Once you have a drum tech you don't need to do this shit yourself.
are you serious? NO SHIT! my comment was about Rikki not DOING THE SET UP AND TUNING FOR HIMSELF!
CC, there's no funny runners. PMSL
my dad say that C.C is a girl name short for something and that's it's a gay name is that true PLZ LET IT NOT.If yes then WHYYYYYYYY C.C WHYYYYYY
