I thought I was a bit weird in having a thing for journals. And this is the first video I’ve actually watched about journals and it was BRILLIANT!!!! Thank you, another subscriber👍🏼
I've just started journaling and just use a compostition notebook that I have washi taped two pages together at the edge. The paper isn't the greatest and they're small but it works for me and I can use one for each month. Thanks for this video. Very informative and lots of great ideas.
Hi, great video. Obsessed with buying journals...don't often write in them but so beautiful to look at. Could you tell me where you got the fleur de lis journal. It is stunning.
Honestly I do best with spiral journals. I like being able to flip all the way over. I’m more likely to finish a spiral journal. But Id like to have that same feeling with travelers notebooks because I love the aesthetic of them. I also like the idea of replacing inserts. I noticed in one of your most recent videos, you accidentally fell in love with Amazon’s idea of a moleskine. I love that and I think I might give it a try. I’m enjoying your videos. I’m interested to know how many journals you use at once and their purposes. TFS. This was helpful.
how do you get a good journal to write in???? i used a 150 college ruled notebook to journal... been journal writing for almost 42 years now. i think journal writing is great for us to keep journal writing for good and keep up memories and look back at a year ago, and how people treated you a year ago.... it showed!!! Happy journal writing !!!!
I love the Hobonichi for journaling, but I just need more space so I stuck with the Sojourner traveler's notebook (in the standard size like a Midori). This was an interesting transition because I used to large scale notebooks to journal in, but now I love it. I think a lot of people use the Hobonichi to doodle and journal. Such great paper! And well done video - as always!
This will be my first year (2017) of using the Hobonichi, which will probably for sketching and art, since I want to keep using my TN. I've heard great things about the Sojourner - I love that they usually include pockets for carrying around supplies in. :)
Michael's now sells their Recollections line of knock offs for the traveler's notebooks. I wondered if you had tried those and how it compared to the Midori? Jave Davenport has a cover I love, and the Michael's brand inserts are cheap.
Hey Anna I know it’s your channel, but could you maybe please see about bringing your husband into one of your videos? Because I would like to see what his choices of pens and notebooks are.☺️
Great information, I enjoy your videos and this was excellent for choices. I am starting my 3rd year of Hobonichi's, I do weeks as my personal planner, A6 is memory keeping and Cousin I do art journaling and journaling. Another favorite journal is of mine is made from Tomoe River paper same as Hobonichi's is a hard bound papersforfountainpens.com. They have 2 sizes and the small one I carry with me to do Omni Journaling. Also love my Midori's, I consider these as my hobby or passion🌹
It's absolutely a hobby and passion of mine too! I love hearing how people use different types of journals and how they document their own lives in different ways that speak to us. I'm sure I could have mentioned a half dozen more options - there are so many paper choices out there! Thanks so much for your feedback and sharing!
Madrenna Griffith that was from B&N, not sure if they still carry it, but they do have similar styles. It was part of a whole linen of Italian made journals.
I'm going to buy a leather note book because I want to look back on my teen years when I'm older and I was wondering you ipition on leather books and their life spand ...........
Jamie Hibberd leather bound journals hold up very well and definitely hold up well while being used. They look elegant, as well and the craftsmanship makes it something very enjoyable to flip through in later years!
I was given a Moonster hand made journal or note book. The best thing about it, is when you've finished with the book itself you can buy a refill. The actual covers are very good quality as is the paper to write on. I love it 💓👍. Just take a look on Amazon. I forgot to mention that the cover is leather and the notebook is made specifically for the leather cover. Take a look and you'll understand.😏🤔
We will have a good night and be sure you will be coming home to see if I have any help for the next meeting you guys are going on there are a great day and I have to do it for you tomorrow night I’ll let him you know that you will get to talk to her tomorrow night and let you talk and I will have a talk tomorrow and let you know what we have and we

knittenpurl I find composition books have very thin paper and limits the type of pen I can use
I love peter pauper press journals they lie flat and the paper holds ink well and doesn't bled
I love it when journals lie flat! Those are great journals.

I like journals but for me a classic moleskine squared a5 notebook is the best option for journaling
Pretty journals intimidate me. A cheap composition notebook and the nearest black pen is what I use.
i loooovee your handwriting! please do a video about it
Great video for beginners and for those looking for alternative options

Girl and Quill thanks a lot!! I am going to buy one very similar! I hope it works out for me as well it worked for you 😉😘
