- An extensive load out of my EDC bag which I use for everyday city life, which is also equipped for emergencies and can be used as a short-term survival kit in urban and rural environments.
All items are packed in a Maxpedition Fatty organizer bag and are a constant work in process. A list of all items can be found at www.docdroid.ne...
In case you have any additions or comments for me, please let me know!

For a none native English speaker, I'd say you spoke brilliantly, very fluent and with a bit of character in your voice. So well done and nice EDC I have created a one similar!
I love these videos. The European versions are like this with tools and first aid stuff. In US videos its like watching the scene in Commando where Arnie is prepping to go rescue his daughter lolol
LOL, so true. I live in Texas so I know what you mean. It's all about rugged individualism here in some parts of the U.S. To me, that just shows that we are all just a wee bit afraid. I do love prepping though. It feels so good to plan ahead and be prepared. But yeah, sometimes folks get a little crazy over their guns.
This guy does not want to be locked in anything. Nice kit, you have a lot in a small bag. Good job.
Thats indeed true! thanks :)
The dust mask is a very good addition to the bag ,I would never have thought of that.
I am new to the EDC world... but it just hit me... there are the SHTF essentials.. and then there are essentials for your area of operation. every environment deserves its own unique requirement... thank you for posting this, very instructive and entertaining to watch. your english was good, i understood everything you said.
great video and gear. the Fenix PD35 is the best flashlight made. i'm a police officer and have carried one on duty since they first made it. it has never failed me.
thanks for sharing
This is a fantastic kit! This is by far one of thr best kit vids out there.
you have the best most complete EDC bag on youtube, gave me great ideas thank you!
You've got some great items in your EDC that I had not considered but may now add to my bag, like that guitar string, the hand cuff key and bitcoin card, very cool! Thanks for sharing!
Nice survival kit, in a small packet !!! Greeting from the United States of America !!!
I can understand your English perfectly fine, and for someone who can only speak one language. I'm not really in a position to complain about your use of my native language when I can't speak one word of your own. Followed. Enjoyed the video, and nice bit of kit. People don't realise how useful EDC are until you have them
I am proud of you for learning a second language because I sort of gave up on Spanish. But today I may practice again.
Fu If You should! Always keep on learning. Languages are always good for any situation.
+Urban Outdoors what is ur native langague
+Urban Outdoors laat maar ik zag etos xD
I received an unbranded knife like that as a gift with an order that was shipped late, now I know what I’ll use it for. Thanks
You are the first Dutch prepper I see on youtube. Wist niet dat er nederlandse preppers bestonden
Nice EDC! Your English is pretty good also.
Don’t apologise for your English; I know English people who don’t speak as well as you do! :-)
Great kit; I picked up a lot of good ideas, especially a guitar string as a snare.
I’ve subscribed :-)
Handcuff key and lock pick set? I love this guy!!!!
Your English is better then most Americans, thanks for a great video.
wow your EDC bag is very realistic, other's EDC almost like bug out bag, always assuming they can take their bag in the car. thank you!
+weinfin thanks!
Your English is above average, your video was informative and well crafted. Thank you sir!
I am really impressed with your EDC! Thanks for sharing.
You have really good quality items in there all these items do make sense according to the reasons you have given for use. Excellent job done
that a great bag you have. I feel like this is something I should build. I have one for when I got out walking but not for every day
Dank je wel voor het filmpje! Je hebt vele goede ideeën voor mij om te copieren. En jouw Engels is zoveel beter dan mijn Nederlands! Zonder twijfel. :)
Very nice job sir, it's interesting to see what people in other parts of the world carry in their edc. There doesn't seem to be a lot of channels focused on urban preparedness, so I look forward to more videos.
Liked&subscribed!
It might sound weird, but I think every single person in the world should have a tiny Celox package in his back pocket, because it truly SERIOUSLY saves the life of people, who would normally die in minutes after an accident (by losing blood)
What it does that it immediately clots your wound and can stop serious arterie-bleeding in seconds. And it takes no expertise to apply; you just cover the wound with the powder, put some cloth and pressurize it.
It's literally the most useful thing you can carry with yourself, more important than those fire rods or pocket saw-s for urban environments... Thanks for including it in your pouch, it's very that people carry it.
***** I totally agree with you!
Ádám Varga
You are spot on about Celox (and tampons in our daily kits. Considering urban terrorist attacks world wide, we all should carry tools to respond first to help save lives. Thinking of Las Vegas murders and all the Hero's who stepped up to save others.
Love the elevator key. Never seen it before. Thanks for the great idea! 😃🙌🏻🙌🏻😃
Great video. I added several things to my list that I want in my bag. Nice job!!!! Thanks for sharing.
Out of the million videos and million opinions on survival kits, this is by far the most useful and innovative that I've seen for the size of the kit. Excellent video presentation also. Well done. The only suggestion I have is regarding the paracord. For this particular urban/smaller kit it's a bit overkill. Might I suggest a smaller, quality 100lb nylon cord. For the same space/diameter you can get 2x greater length. I may have missed it but a $1 rain poncho would also be useful.
+MrSteve280 REALLY, wow.
Look up MeZillch. He has videos up of his maxpedition bag and small/micro tools and also tips, tricks, and hacks.
superb.... lets see a bigger bag with shelter etc.... brilliant
What a fantastic video and bag you've made. I applaud you, Sir. 😉
So versatile, maybe you could put your first aid stuff in a small zip lock bag or something. When you need it just pull "it" out instead of having to dig through all items individually. Really like the idea of pre-paid credit card. 👍Thanks for the opportunity to seeing the content of your EDC pouch.
Great kit man!! I think that one more thing that I would add is a copy of my passport and maybe some basic medical information about you( like blood type or allergies) and a next of kin to contact just in case. Also.. I am from Europe as well but I have been in Australia for 6 years now and I have found something I'm totally addicted to.. it's called papaw ointment (Lucas is the most famous) and its good for so many things!! From simple things like dry lips or nappy rashes to burns and cuts or open wounds and mosquito bites or other sorts of bites or itchy rashes you get from plants.. and many other things!! I always bring it home to Italy to my friends and family when I go visit and they love it too!! You should look it up! ;)
Great kit. I got some good ideas. Please make more videos of the interests you have to share. Greetings from MAINE, USA 👍
This is a very good and comprehensive EDC! Thank you for sharing.
Fantastic video and kit man, felt the need to comment here. Lots of unique items, good stuff.
This is awesome!Very nice organizer. Some people dont like huge edc pocket organizers, but I love em :D,yours is like a mini bug out bag :D.Gj again, subscribed and I hope you will make more videos in the future!
:Excellent selections, friend. I particularly enjoy the compact size of the pack, I use a school backpack. Lol. Sometimes I carry my fire extinguisher too. It's come in handy.
This is one of the best EDC vids I have seen. Very "real world". Great job Charles
+005658able Thank you for the kind words!
Great video! The only suggestion that I might add is replace the 550 Paracord w/black waxed twine...smaller, easier to stow and 'almost' as strong... Replace the Paracord w/Sawyer Mini Water Purification unit... Same space/different and life saving uses! Thanks Again for the video!
Great little kit. Thinking of one for travel since I have larger backpack kits in cars already, but got some good ideas here. Wanna suggest a disposable $1 rain poncho. They do come in handy, I know from experience.
Big plastic lawn and leaf trash bag do pretty well that as well. they can fold up real small.
Plus, they are good deal more durable than those flimsy disposable ponchos.
Your English is excellent, and this is a superb EDC bag you put together here. I'm really impressed with your choice of items and how you organized them. Bravo to you.
Maybe you could add a list in the description of were you ordered all the items?
Thank you! Unfortunately, many of the items were already in my possession or gifts, so not sure where to get everything. I think that pretty much everything came from amazon, ebay and the local pharma shop.
+Urban Outdoors make more videos please!
Urban Outdoors bent U Nederlander?
Great bag great video. I really like all your items. The one thing I find the most interesting is we both have chosen to use hotel items, low cost or free, and are a great addition to a everyday bag. Bit card another wise idea, we may not always be in a doomsday off grid situation, may just be out and forgot your wallet. The USA we can do pretty paid credit cards. Again great job.
superb video, and i love the fixed blade knife you have, looks high quality and compact.
only note, i would make is not to fold the zip lock bag on the zipper as it would not be leak proof.
Very nice. I will definitely use some tips for building my own EDC.
Nice video my grandpa has very Vulnerable skin because of the medication he takes so I will have to look in to the blood stop power it will really help him
Great EDC kit. I had no problem understanding you and I like your accent.
Cool Blancpain on your wrist! ;))) and some great stuff in your small bag.
Very good, brilliantly presented with a couple of new ideas, well done.
great job on your first bag and your first video
Very nice kit. Great video!
Very helpful for a new to the EDC. Thank you
Thanks for the video. You made a great point about having money or a money source with you. I added that to my bag.
Lots of great ideas and great video. Thanks for posting.
Just got a maxpedition micro as a bike tool kit. going to get a bigger one for in the car. best to wrap your batteries up as if they could easily short out in your bag and will be flat when you need them
Great video!! 👍 Your English was better than most British citizens
Carrying tampons in case your female friends need them? You sir are a hero!
Fractal Universe in 20 years of being single adult male I never had a female ask me for it let me know needed to stop Aunt Flo. Once I got married, different story. 🤫
best edc bag I have seen yet. good one !!!!!!!!
Great little kit. Personally I don't subscribe to the 'write on the moon' types of pens. I prefer a pencil, which is highly reliable, and a little pencil sharpener. The pencil is VERY reliable in any condition, and the sharpener can come in handy for making tinder out of small sticks for use with a fire steel. I don't think they are bad, or its wrong to carry one. This is just my preference. Great video, good little load out.
Pencils are a good idea but they have their drawbacks. For starters, they are finite. A pencil gets smaller as you use it and sharpen it. The point can break, pencil writing can be altered, etc. Depending on the type of pencil, they might not be able to be written on all surfaces either. Just some food for thought. I do like your idea for including a pencil though. Personally, I like to have a pencil, sharpie and piece of chalk with me.
Great Video and some ideas I have not seen before. My friends live in europe and travel EU a lot - Thank you
Well done. Impressed by the amount of stuff you manage to put in there! You may want to consider adding a pencil and some paper. Personally I would loose the 'getting lost stuff'. As I live in Europe as well, I know it is pretty hard to get lost.
Nice EDC. I would add a survival blanket or poncho and more paracord.
Great video, and your first as well. Excellent! Best EDC video I've seem in yeasts too! Thank you.
That was a good video it made me add some things I didn't even think of
Love your kit. Lol i was expecting it to explode when you opened it, like something out of a cartoon lol
والله انك رائع واحلى لايك
I have seen many videos of survival kits of different sizes and purposes.. this is the best .. small , cheap, very handful and cover almost everything... really 25 minutes of pleasure..
Greetings from Palestine
Great video!!! I salute you from Argentina!!!!!
such a good taste in wrist watches, great kit too.
always can tell a gentle man by his watch...
keep up the good work sir
nimag88
wow nice little kit good job!!!!
Thanks! Some nice ideas. One thing: all those pills will break out of the packaging over time as this kit gets bounced around. When you need them they will be damaged. I recommend putting each type of medicine in their own bag or getting one of those pill capsules
+Bob_the_Bomb
Thanks for the tip - good
one!
@@urbanoutdoors596 I found a very small 80ml clip seal box which fits into my first aid bag.
Very well organized and great vid.You might want to put in matches and a lighter if you can fit em in.Thanx
Lol every time you say "ok well" my phone thinks I'm saying "ok google" and opens up the voice commands. Distracting but it's a good video so far.
Dude we need more videos, thank you!
Very good urban survival kit! Good job!
+Rangersly really what a joke.
Excellent presentation. I got some good ideas of items to add to my kit.
Olá amigo, parabéns seu kit EDC está com tudo necessário para uma pequena emergência. Abraço! Rio de Janeiro Brazil
Excellent video. You might also want to consider adding some "Gorilla" tape and some lithium AA batteries.
A Leatherman Micra or Wave might be superb additions, and an "Uncle Bill's" Silver tweezer would be good also.
A small pry bar is very useful.
Consider also a CRKT "Get-Away-Driver" with torx drivers and flat head & Phillips head drivers.
I hope this helps.
Pax.
Ash Jackson will be adding these to my kit as well as 99% of this kit from the video
Really nice and very real world applicable.
Got a lot of good tips, especially in the minipharmacy section (I thought I was the only one with 3 different types of pain killer son me at any given time, but then again I suffer from migrains)
I don't quite get why you need an elevator door opener. You can't open elevators from the inside with those only form the outside. And if you are in a burning building you really do not want to get in the elevator.
Now I know you can use that triangulare wernch type to open electrical cabinets and most advertisment cabinets. But then you are more into counter culture and culture jamming, which is cool by me.
+chris vighagen Thank you for the kind words Chris. The elevator key is merely for helping other who are stuck in an elevator (indeed only used from the outside), but they also work for opening doors in many means of public transportation (from the inside!). I would indeed not recommend to hide or go through an elevator shaft in case of a fire!
Ah, so that was the idea with the key. I have also since learend that one can open some firehydrant cabinets and electrical cabinets aswell with the same key.
I used to work fo KONE Elevators in Denmark for a short while, and know just how dangerous elevators are when there is a fire. It really is just one big smokestack. You'd suffocate within mere minutes if trying to take an elevator in a building that is on fire. Which is why most modern elevator are programmed to go down to the entre floor and saty there with the doors open in case of a fire.
So thanks to your video, I learned many new things! Thanks!
+Urban Outdoors Hello From Georgia :) Nice Video Sir :) I am a huge fan of EDC videos and I allready made one ,you can check my channel and also add me on facebook will be great :) facebook.com/georgekopala123
Great video, I got plenty of new inspiration/ideas, my thoughts for you are a Bic lighter instead of that one in your bag and some heavy duty tin foil, takes up no room and would be a good addition I think. Thanks!
+uniform1313 Thanks for the tips! The reason for this lighter was that is was transparent, so I could see how many fuel is still in it. Unfortunately BIC does not make clear ones...
@@urbanoutdoors596 Bic makes a white one which is semi opaque. I have seen a clipper lighter explode, they are a bit brittle.
Good kit, I would add some storm proof matchs, some wetfire, and bandana.
No chance the uploaded will ever see this message, but.. You should keep those tweezers in a closed container inside the bag. If you need them to dig stuff out of a wound or whatever, you'd want that thing to be as clean and bacteria free as possible.
Great loadout, friend!
Good video. Thanks for sharing.
Also, please do not apologize for having an accent. I understand you just fine.
I have a lot of respect for people that has accents when they speak English. Why? Because it means they are at least bilingual, and knows at least one MORE language than me, if not more.
Excellent kit! Thanks for sharing with us!
But remember, say Flashlight, not Fleshlight.. That is something else 😂
Aamey Playz lmao
Very informative video, thanks for putting it out there. BTW, nice BP 50 fathoms.
Zeppelin1160 Thanks!
Very good video, very helpful thank you for sharing it with us.
Awesome EDC kit, and first video. The only thing I would add is a large folded piece of aluminum foil.
Well done... hope you make more videos.
First time I've heard of radioactive pills! That is an interesting to have! Great kit, congrats! Cheers from Brazil!
Not Radioactive pills - IODINE PILLS - help prevent your thyroid becoming saturated with iodine 131, by pre-saturating it with iodine 127, slowing the development of thyroid cancer as a result of exposure to RADIOACTIVE FALLOUT.
I have a few, this was a good one and your English is very good so don't worry about that. Something you might add to your pack are small packets of soup or noodles; if you had 3 all you need then is hot water and I'm sure you'd work that out. Lidl are good for that. I have a few as I mentioned, I'm extending my medical kit with more equipment and adding a water carrier that folds flat and is tiny but holds 2.5 litres of water. Do you put this bag into a rucksack or daysack?
I have 1 Urban : basics
1 City/Suburban specialised for those shtf moments
1 Rural/Bush The biggie, just ready to take and go on that shtf trek. I also have 3 outposts set up ready nearby. You never know. Am I pepper? I don't think so, just a realist.
Great effort man. Wish my second language was as fluent as yours. Respect ✊ Cheers Sel
Awesome kit dude good job its a very well thought out kit I think am gonna make me one like it. I subscribed.
Keep up the good work. Great vid, i got some i deas for my own edc pouch.
Great video! A lot of good gear that i plan to add to a pack one day. Your english is really good btw. Thanks for the vid!
Since this is also a convenience bag id say carry tissues or wet wipes. Publuc restrooms suck sometimes, also hand sanitizer aka alcohol solution for your hands
Nice job! got some good ideas from it thanks for the upload
Leuke video. Ben zelf op het moment een nieuwe gray man/BOB aan het maken. En ook een kit. Heb wel een aantal ideeen opgedaan van deze video.
I'd love to see an updated version of this!
Especially regarding the cryptocurrency-items.
Up to this point in time, seeing this video, I didn't even know that these cards existed.
One thing, I could not remember if you had, but a pair of tweezers. great for splinters and maybe a needle, can also help dig splinters out.
He have them, at a beggining, he just called them "pincets" another name for tweezers.
