Ive owned 3 chrysler 300s and i love them. My current one is an 06 300 srt8 with a good amount of bolt ons. I love it. Glad you guys are doing a modern classic.
MrTrip3ace what bolt ons you got? I have '10 challenger srt8 and would love to give it more power! BTW my engine heats up when it's really hot like this month
ShoryukenDatAzz Interiors on these aren’t too bad in my opinion. Used to own an 06 300C. Are they cheap? Sure. But it could have been a whole lot worse. All of the touch points are at least soft and not hard plastic like some cars.
Omg it’s about time someone brings one of these back to life .. These cars are still worthy of using just need some work to be up to date with power but other than that these cars will forever be legend. FOREVER LIVE MOPAR
Petty's Garage me too! Want to see ease of install. Maybe I will look at what you have for 2013 Charger Road and Track Daytona Edition with Super Track Pack???? Better than what I have stock????
Yeah I like them. Not sure who put those fenders on though. They look tacky and ricer to me. That would be the 1st thing I changed.. well that and the crappy paint on the wheels.
Bought a 2005 300c at 100k miles a few months ago. Good but not great paint. Chrome is still there. I get compliments on it all the time. Needless to say I keep it waxed and the interior clean. Love it.
Just had my 3rd set of lifter fail along with the 2nd damaged camshaft as well as a spin cam bearing! Therefor I took this opportunity to do a 426 build with a Crower cam and lifter! Haven’t put it on a dyno yet but according to Crowers calculations I should be somewhere in the 540whp! Unfortunately I have a leaking rear main seal and has also developed a slight rod knock with less than 5k on the engine! SO the engine is gonna have to come back out for a new rear main seal, hopefully just a defective rod bearing and gonna go ahead an upgrade the oil pump to a Melling high volume! Then the next fun job will be to replace the rear subframe bushings, that I have been procrastinating, so the rear end will stop trying to swap ends around any time I’m on a rough road!
I have a 2006 300c, 150k miles on it and drives very nice!! Oh yeah i also replaced the navigation with a Ipad Mini! sounds great with the premium audio!
I'm an engine guy at a Chrysler dealership so watching this was entertaining for sure but I also felt like I was at work lol. That 6.1 is gonna do work I know that too...
Alright 300 guys I have a question I hope y’all can help me with. I have an 06 300c rwd 5.7, and I recently blew the rear diff, so I bought a new stock rear diff, and rear axles. Ever since then, my car has been having horrible vibration when braking or idling between 20-40mph. It is worst at 20mph. It does not vibrate when I accelerate. It also does not vibrate outside of that mph range. My right inner tie rod is also going bad. I am not sure if the vibration may be related to either of those or if it could be something else entirely. If you guys have any advice or pointers for me, I would be immensely grateful! Outside of the vibration, this car has been awesome and I truly love it, so I’d really like to see it perform and act how it used to. Thanks guys!
The money UA-cam gave them for the Original Channel Initiative ran out, they weren't making enough money from UA-cam ad revenue to be sustainable so they either had to stop making videos or set up a paywall. So we now have Motor Trend on Demand and they post some sponsored stuff here. Also Larlos Cago left to work at Edmunds
Just get the on demand app. You can get a subscription for like $5/month and see everything early or you can see stuff later as it appeared on UA-cam for free. I pay the five bucks and I have complete access to everything motortrend has ever put out and constant new stuff. It’s worth the money imo
Not with 6-8 psi and a good tune. The 6.1 is a great stock block to boost to reasonable levels. They are quoting 560 crank hp so this is a mild setup. I am making a little more than that NA with just ported heads, bigger cam, longtubes etc.. and have been running that power level for 70,000 miles with no issues. At this mileage I would personally go NA to get the power but I would still call it a reliable setup. May some water injection would make it a bit safer. The 2011+ 6.4/392 are a bit trickier with boost due to some ringland issues so a drop-in piston swap would be wise if boosting the 392.
JagSTR Guy if I was guaranteed more videos I'd reply it just to watch the ads so I could get more content. I love the look of the 300c over the charger and to me looks a lot more badass when built right.
It just don't have the current technology as of today, but other than that these cars will always be a Beast, let's not forget Dodge Magnum that nobody talks about anymore since there's no more production..
Good ones still go for at least 15k with decent miles. Even still, it’s a lot of car for the money. Good power and they’re extremely comfortable on long trips.
they had to have gone with the low boost supercharger stock internals are a big no no for anything above 8 psi. shame really but any improvement is better than no improvement.
Finally an SRT 300 build on youtube!
Kyler Adams dude honestly 😂😂
Kyler Adams right?
finally for a reason dont forget to pack a few liters of oil just in case
Why would you need to pack oil?
Love that car!

Congrats dude how much u got it for?
I'm also curious to how much you were able to get it for!
I've daily driven an '06 300 SRT8 for the past 11 years.
infamousKONVICT how much hp do they pack?
Rated at 425
infamousKONVICT any electrical issues.
Angel T. Yes
I just sold mine a week ago
These cars are cool in my opinion
UR DAD if only the interiors weren't made of Tic Tac containers and Fisher price toys
UR DAD every srt car out there is cool in my opinion

I would rather have one of these then a newer model
i love my 2008 300c
Just like with the wk1 srt8
Broth3r John same but 05 , 153k miles strong
I have this same model, but it would be really stupid to say I wouldn’t prefer a new one. Lieeeeees
Same a 2010
Love showing actual work being done. Great job guys.
Thanks for showing the build and no advertising. Keep up the good work.
Can't wait to see that Petty's Garage suspension & strut braces going in, great job guys!
Petty's Garage me too! Want to see ease of install. Maybe I will look at what you have for 2013 Charger Road and Track Daytona Edition with Super Track Pack???? Better than what I have stock????
Definitely better than what comes stock and should fit your car no problem!
You sir have just earned a loyal subscriber. I have an 06 300c srt8 & I've been wanting to boost it. Glad to see people are still modding these cars.
Love the increased focus on the actual W2W build. Keep it up!
The 6.1l Hemi in this car still has one of the best NA engine notes imo. It just sounds so right!
Nate H. You are right! It's so burbury and beautiful.
Nate H. Definitely one of the better sounding V8’s out there. Low rumble at low RPM, but screams on the high end.
That car looks more amazing every time I look at it.
I remember when the 05' 300C debuted. The design still looks modern.
Moby Green indeed I agree
Yeah I like them. Not sure who put those fenders on though. They look tacky and ricer to me. That would be the 1st thing I changed.. well that and the crappy paint on the wheels.
The fenders are disgusting lol
I hated them in 05 when I first saw them. Now I own an 05 and love it. It had to grow on me
Bought a 2005 300c at 100k miles a few months ago. Good but not great paint. Chrome is still there. I get compliments on it all the time. Needless to say I keep it waxed and the interior clean. Love it.
The big body and a classic bold design is a head turner. I have 2010 300C CRD and i love this car better than newer cars
The production value was better than the older episodes. Showing a lot more mechanical work was a significant improvement
I have never been a Chrysler fan but to take something like this which is still a sleeper from the factory to make it a beast makes me a fan

as a chrysler 300 owner this makes me happy
What's the price in supercharging these??
Ralph Gilles designed truly a classic! I love ❤️ my 06 CHRYSLER 300 SRT8
Yall made this look so easy, like putting a shelf together from IKEA
😂😂
where do those side graphics come from, love them, would look great on my car
how much for car ? how much for blower ?
If you have to ask, you can't afford it.
I bet the add ons were way more than the car itself.
They go from 6500 to 9000 the supercharger kit was 7k by its self
look forward to many more parts thanks for air ing and share ing
Had an 06 even though i now own a e55 i really loved my 300srt8.
I have a 2006 300c, 150k miles on it and drives very nice!! Oh yeah i also replaced the navigation with a Ipad Mini! sounds great with the premium audio!
I have a 2005 Chrysler 300 with over 250000 miles on her still going strong
I'm an engine guy at a Chrysler dealership so watching this was entertaining for sure but I also felt like I was at work lol. That 6.1 is gonna do work I know that too...
I would like to know what the exaust was used on the louder one.have a 300 loved the sound
Nice being built on UA-cam. For some reason I like Chrysler 300 cars.
OMG I want a 300C Hemi (Can’t afford SRT8) how cool you made this!
Man I wish I had one of these, maybe one day. ❤️
I have one with full bolt on, amazing car
Is this a sign of content on UA-cam or is this just a pilot
Probably just the first episode
Was this build straight forward with the book ?
My 2005 at 430000 still running strong, have to switch to synthetic oil though.
Did the stock 06 have a air duct panels on the side fenders shown in the video? I have a 07 srt and I don't have that? 🙃🙃
Looked like the old el toro hanger where are you guys located?
I want some fender vents like that 🔥
have this supercharger to chevry camaro v6 2015 turbo?
Can you guys do this to my 2006 300c its a rare clean body
Could a normal 300C V8 Hemi use the same kit for that HP gain?

I love you guys youre awesome keep up the good work❤️👍
Awesome build!!! Edelbrock superchargers are no joke when paired with a 6.1 Hemi 💪
I will take the stock 6.1 intake, please and thank you! 😁
What happened to MotorTrend? I miss Carlos Lagos reviewing cars every Monday. I would wake up for school to that. Now y'all barely post.

Discovery, that's what.
Chris Dooley Well that seems nice
No new cam :(
300c, this channel deserves a sub
Do you not have to upgrade the engine internals when supercharging it?

How do I get a supercharger installed on my 300C???
Did anyone win this car
A guy in California
U think this would work on a 300c
Best bang for your buck car
Those 300C cars are sweet cars
Is it available to win for Canadian residents?
Fine DONT open the contest to Canada then. 😢
So are the vents behind the front wheels stock or is that a mod?
Eric Hampton stock
Nice work guys.
Going to be a good series
feel free to do this to my 2014 5.7 hemi awd JVL 300C
Where can I get those fenders does anyone know?
The main handicap for these otherwise great cars is the Mercedes NAG trans. Wish they could install the ZF 8 speed in the newer SRTs.
*Oh my. This makes me feel...Weird. Like the legendary Spike Lee said; "Do the right thing". "Do the right thing".*
Can I have all the parts your taking off and not going to use please ????
NGK plugs would be better?
I like those black outer trim pieces behind the front fenders
does anyone know if these are reliable because chrysler products from this era arent to good!?
I have a red ‘07 SRT8 and love it. Would love to do this to it
I have watched these videos 100 times hoping I’m the one that wins 😁😁😁
This makes me miss my 2005 300 so much
Is Motortrend back??? Please watch all their ads so they can keep uploading the good stuff
JagSTR Guy if I was guaranteed more videos I'd reply it just to watch the ads so I could get more content. I love the look of the 300c over the charger and to me looks a lot more badass when built right.
I can't believe you didn't upgrade to a better radiator. I've had 3 of these cars and the radiator is a weak point. They overheat really fast.
Can't wait for the next one
It just don't have the current technology as of today, but other than that these cars will always be a Beast, let's not forget Dodge Magnum that nobody talks about anymore since there's no more production..
It would be nice to see the use of a torque wrench!
You guys are amazing
I love Chrysler 300. I had ‘10 n I have a ‘05 (my Frankenstein) and ‘13.
Amazing ride.
this thing looks sick
Where can I buy these parts?
Any wait to see who wins this beast.
Looks so nice!!.
You guys have no idea how bad i want this car
2012 heads are better than the old ones and 6.4 throttle body hellcat headers and exhaust ohhh boy 🏎💨💨💨 or put in a 6.4,6.2,7.0 call it a day
But will it have a Hellcat power?
Ha ha - That 6.1 with only 560 BHP will be NO WHERE near a Hellcat. But should be a good build...
Where does one get one of them shirts?
Tomorrow is the big dayyyyyy
I love my 06 300, been driving it for 2 years now, sadly it’s the touring so i has to settle with the V6, but I love it so much
You don't have the right to comment. Go away
I thought these were like 22k.... they go under 10k wtfffff i want one now..
20s
Good ones still go for at least 15k with decent miles. Even still, it’s a lot of car for the money. Good power and they’re extremely comfortable on long trips.
Who won it?
Can u guys do a Ford Lightning video
I love this car so much
My 5.7 hemi 06 300c is my daily car and its awesome
@14:54 mark looks like you hit an oil gusher
E3 spark plugs are a gimmick
Yeah. There are better platinum and other noble metal based plugs that out perform them, but E3 are a sponsor, so that is what is going in.
please e3 part number of 6.1
wanted to see it drive!
they had to have gone with the low boost supercharger stock internals are a big no no for anything above 8 psi. shame really but any improvement is better than no improvement.
I plastidip my grille on my Chrysler van like that too and tear off the dip on the logo. Nice car
yes thats my fav car in the whole world
