i bought some plastic bowls from walmart and thought they were pretty safe because its supposed to be BPA free. I would microwave soup out of it, and for 6 months sometimes my stomach would hurt so bad I'd be in a fetal position in my bed all night. I thought maybe it was food poisoning because i have some dirty roomates. I moved out and still having this issue. I finally got rid of the plastic bowls because thats what I was suspecting, and now all my stomach aches disappeared. Fuck u walmart and plastic. I was 13yrs old sat in my Biology class, in 1995. I raised my hand and asked, "Microscopically, nature recycles everything....but what about Plastics? Can nature re-use? Or is it harmful?"
They didn't know! But my teacher also wanted to know too. Two days later he replied saying that microplastics are useless to nature. I was 13. I am now 40, and riddled with microplastics and damaged eyes, hormones and crashed Testosterone and zero sex drive all for 15 years now ...and haven't begun any treatments or advice yet. Not sure which practitioner type I require to help me with this?? GP, Nutritionist, Psychiatrist....?

As a collective this will effect our evolution. Look at the past 50 years and our testosterone levels. We will NOT hit those kinds of highs when it comes to testosterone levels ever again. Yes some individuals taking action. But that is like 1 out of 50 if not more and the majority unfortunately always wins. I'm not saying this because I have no hope but I do feel it is the most logical way of thinking.

@@veniqeDo you even know what silicone is made of? Silicone is a polymer of oxygen and silicon, and is like if you made plastic out of stone. It's pretty damn safe, short of weird additives that aren't used in food-safe or medical grade silicone.

0:23 This is exactly why I think Japan is having the issues they’re having. So many of their food is needlessly wrapped in plastic. They have vending machines that serve hot food in…plastic. So much more but I really think it plays a big part

24:15 Also being toxic at the cell level vs system level are not necessarily correlated. Think of senescent cells. The cells themselves don't die but they screw up the things around them and cause issues at larger levels of organization.
