@@taco2215 In my case I couldn't hold back my tears during Orga's and Mcgillis' last words, it literally broke my heart. There's something really unique about watching a second time the whole series
So, a fun story, me and my older brother (27 and 17 respectively) watched this anime together, we finished season two, but then he hit his head and got amnesia, he lost 4 years of memory. So I decided to reintroduce him to this anime, and I will always cherish the look of hate and horror on his face as he learns what several of our little phrases we shared (that he saw in old texts) actually meant Edit: I feel like I should mention, this isn't a nice story of me reconnecting with a brother that doesnt remember something he used to love (not fully) this is me missing my favorite pastime of shouting "biscuit dies!" At him from across the house and then running for the hills before I get tackled
This particular gundam series had a really cool way of transitioning into the outro. I really got way more into this one than I thought I would. Great series
After rewatching the series over 30 times at this point, I genuinely feel like this song has the biggest impact on the whole show, not only because it plays during VERY important parts of the show, but because of its lyrical impact it provides, music genuinely astounds me sometimes and I find it to be absolutely crazy.
The only way I can describe this song is beautiful melodic depression and it fits so well with the anime. God damn, as a guy who doesn't care about mecha anime I'm telling you, watch this asap and if it doesn't make you feel 15 emotions per episode your not human.
if it's about mecha animes tho, gundam storylines just have a lot of plots on it, and mostly would be based on real life events, and events that come after as outcomes, from the basic friends, family or tragic childhood backstories, to military, civilian, political issues that affect humanity. Then you add the sci fi elements such as human now living in mars, etc. It's complex yet compelling. Iron blooded Oprhans in my opinion, has a different feel to it's predecessors, as it does feel more of wanting every protagonist to survive together until they get to their goal, but with casualties along the way. You're right. The watcher will feel a lot of emotions coming out from this series, the story itself is not so far fetch from our real life future. But you'd get what the story wants to tell: survive. survive together.
He did the ed of this series but seriously he needs to do music for a Gundam series. We had Yoko Kanno for Turn A Gundam and then Sawano Hiroyuki for Unicorn and a new series called Thunderbolt i think??? Now we just need Taku Iwasaki and Yuki Kajiura to do one.
