I'm definitely looking forward to this! We all need to reduce the amount of social media we consume for our own mental health.If we find a healthy balance between digital time and time spent in the real world, we can become much stronger and live more happily.
I really enjoyed this video, I want to do a digital detox but in shorts period of time, 30 days could be really difficult because I need to use many apps in my job and also I use apps to get in touch with my family (they are living in another country). But I want to do the digital detox on this weekend! 👍😀💪

I think that what he said is very interesting. It's a good way to deal with digital technology. However, I'm not sure if I could do this for 30 days because of my work and other obligations. I could try leaving the cell phone a little and communicate in another way. I feel that it is important that people do these digital detox for their own life. and maybe it's a difficult process but I feel like we sometimes all need it. Thanks for your recommendation and I really enjoyed that video!

We are at the moment where we can´t let the phone rule our lives, from text messages to emails, apps, and social media but it doesn’t have to be the case. You may not be able to do a digital detox overnight, but you could start with small steps.
I think that make a digital detox for 30 days is too difficult, and I don't imagine 30 days without my gadgets. However I think it is necessary to do it. We spend hours every day in front of the cell phone, on the computer or tablet. Many times we are not aware of what is happening around us. We need to evaluate in our lives about how we spend our time, what is really useful, and the things that really make us happy. For example family time, time for cook, for rest, prqctice any sport...etc. I wish I started my digital detox at least 1 day.
Mr. Newport's experiment is interesting, but in today's society I think it's difficult to apply it because it's a society totally absorbed by technology

IMO, telephones are important to bring communications closer when we are away from others, but today we have a great force, as you said, that is investing billions of dollars to attract our attention and keep us focused on our phones. I think it's a good idea to postpone things that give us a quick sense of satisfaction with these devices to improve our concentration on a difficult task to execute.
Personally, think that all the things in excess is bad, the digital consume and at the same time the total digital detox . The time of 30 days it's a lot of time, we can make the digital detox more easy with a transition, can stop of use the phone and the other devices in the weekend or other shorts periods of time.
