    Unless you've learnt how to breath underwater, don't wear waders on a boat! Waders tend to give you a good look at what's on the bottom of the lake.

      24km hike in with 2 river crossings. No bridge.

    Dang man, First five minutes is just figuring out the depth. Better idea- Bring an ultra-light combo, tie on a panther martin and be crushing it within those first 5 minutes. lol Gave it a thumbs up for the effort though. Thanks for sharing.

    So where are the big Brookies ? None of them look to be over 20 inches in length. Not much color either.......

      Never heard tell of a brook trout over 20 inches ! where are your videos of catching big trout ?

      @@trevormccamon877 Well, a couple years ago my brother and I portaged into a small brook trout lake in the Boundary Waters and in about 6 hours of fishing caught around 30 of them between 15 and 20 inches. We were advised that there are 22-24 inchers in there-it would not surprise me. Gorgeous, gorgeous fish.
      Yes, they are not very colorful. Our Boundary Waters trip was in mid September...they were in all their spawning glory-the males ere incredible.
