You are doing exactly what I dream of doing as a fellow nature photographer Clyde. I, too, prefer to photograph this amazing country of ours. Thank you and your family for all you are doing to protect, preserve, and record our beautiful state of Florida and this country we love. Your work is incredible!
On the other hand, I've run into people who tell me, "Why don't you just shoot digital?" a though film & digital were interchangeable. What if I told you that shooting film is part of my ouvre?
Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898-1972) he did 3D before CAD, the movie "Labrynth" used his influence heavily to much box office success. technology is simply a tool its not a silver bullet...that is why Clyde Butcher can do film art against an army of Digital MF people regardless of 80 MP and the capacity for CS6 to adjust things. Art comes from people despite the tools they use to create it. Soap stone carvings from Alaska are big in 2012 BTW and Techno Dubstep cant compare to Ridrigo Y Gabriella.

A bit too similar for my liking. I recently went to an Ansel Adams exhibition and he took two of his most famous pictures from his car.
Similar to Ansel Adams's Photography
Love it
