Quick little thing I didn't mention in the video itself but is worth noting: hitting attacks in the air will recharge one of your bullets! Ths can save you in a pinch!
I have to say, I'm _really_ impressed with the overall moveset design of Welltaro, based on what I've seen! The way his entire kit even down to basic movement is centralized on the bullet management gimmick is really fascinating, and is something I don't think I've seen executed so well before in a platform fighter space! Really looking forward to what the team has in store for potential future more interpretive fighters like him!
i've played downwell and i love how well they actually translated its gameplay into a platform fighter, if he had just had the shotgun weapon implemented somehow into his moveset he would've been perfect
Wellyaro looks sick as hell! I am curious if they have any other narrators available in the early access. Alpharad supposedly did voice lines for the game.
I'm really happy that you're making Fraymakers content now, I've been waiting for any content or info about this game for ages and these videos make me feel so much better.
I like how not only the gun modules but also the original playstyles are represented in this moveset - Up Strong references both the Shotgun module and the Handstand style - Jab references Arm Swing style - Heart Balloon's implementation here also references the Levitate style - Dash Attack references Boulder Style
This looks like one of the most fun characters to play. Can't wait for the game to go into Early Access, although with how things are looking, they might have to delay it a bit.
The moveset looks REALLY good on a conceptual level, but I feel like it might need some balancing - it seems like you're really unlikely to run out of bullets (especially with down special seeming really weak), and neutral special having a hitbox seems incredibly toxic. That's what tester builds are for, though.
Mudkid used the information posted about the character on the Kickstarter and pieced the rest together. It's really impressive!! There's a few differences on that one (like the grounded laser), but for not having access to the game they're surprisingly similar.
I like their simple attacks combined with an all-encompassing gimmick! I don't have a strong bond with any of the playable characters so far but I got my eye on Welltaro here, they seem fun and have a neat, simple design!
Maybe in the future, but I wouldn't get your hopes up. It's pretty much a glorified IDE, so I really don't think it's all that interesting to the average user. Plus development has apparently been very difficult so far. If I do end up making a video, it'll probably be to simmer people's expectations of what Fraytools *actually* is. I will show off some of what's been created for sure though!
Honestly, I feel like they should keep the sketches in the final build for certain moves. It might help with readability and it could look pretty cool (e.g., Welltaro's forward strong)
What happens if you try using a move that needs a certain amount of bullets but you don't have enough, like only having 3 bullets but trying to use Laser. I'm assuming it doesn't work?
I almost hoped it would let you do the move anyway, since Downwell lets you use, say, Shotgun even with only one charge left. I'd assume they changed that for balancing purposes, though
Tilt stick and strong button yes, but I don't think there's a specific macro for short hop. Controller support for the game is fairly WIP right now, so who knows what the future could hold?

Are you gonna play fraymakers I can play the game with you

I think he uses it in his up smash.
@@Animeboi-pq8ze I meant that he use it as an aerial, like in the original game
Thanks for this video. This helps me get a better understanding of damage inputs, certain animations, and most importantly, how to play Welltaro.
This game looks so fun, can't wait for it to properly come out.

Currently it's just Kira Buckland, Tomamoto and Alpharad will be coming in a later update.
@@Zetta330 Will Alpharad be a playable character or just an announcer?
@@cordellriemer5177 Just announcer.
@@Big_Bad_Gammon oh ok that's cool either way you would put it right

As a Rivals player, I have to ask:
What does Down Special do (on the ground)?
It just automatically hops into the air, similar to Bowser's down special in smash.
@@Zetta330 Fair enough.

Question: is the alpharad voice pack in game
Not planning playing Frymakers, but I played Downwell and those attacks are *_SICK✨!_*
Considering Fraymakers only now opened for testing, how did Mudkid use this Welltaro for reference nearly two years ago?

I completely forgot about this game.
Gun shoes are beautiful.

Uh, how does the N-Air do 3% then 5%, and total to 7%
Don’t think that adds up
I am good at math (double checking, it does 8%)
His bullet mechanic seems slightly inspired by Elliana, but definitely still unique.
Could we expect a Fraytools video in the future?

Umbrella (Skullgirls) Moveset and Showcase?
I’m glad my son is getting more love
Is that game coming to Nintendo switch
What happens if you try using a move that needs a certain amount of bullets but you don't have enough, like only having 3 bullets but trying to use Laser. I'm assuming it doesn't work?
Yeah, it displays the same "Empty!" message for any move you try to use without enough bullets.
