Man, her live performance was so wild and her screams were so powerful, but in the studio version her voice sounds so melodic it’s bone chilling, the versatility she has to make two covers of the same song and make them sound so different is amazing
Its because of pop production. Look at Bad habits by Ed Sheeran and bring me the horizon. Live sounds different(and better) than studio version and also scream is changed just like with Ado. Then look at corpse husband and bring me the horizon song for example. It has completely different production and screams.
The original TK portrays EPICNESS!
The one take TK portrays SADNESS!
The studio Ado portrays HORROR!
The live Ado portrays PURE RAGE!
My point is: Unravel is expressed with different emotions in each song which makes this experience AMAZING!

nah i barely felt anythig with tk actually i didnt like the song untill i heard ado versions now its one of my favorites, on the ado live you can feel the sadness and desperation things tk never reached

People complaining that it isn't like the original version done by TK, are brain dead. (Talking about his chat mostly)
It's a cover of the original song... and Ado, with every cover she does, she doesn't just completely copy the original song. She puts her own style on it, out of respect, and so people can have two different styles of such a great song. Instead of just completely copying it and adding no value to a song she grew up on & loves. Remember, she's younger than most of you all, so she has heard this since she was very young.
You can even see that with her cover of Crime & Punishment, they are both great and have their own style.

They aren't always a jerk, but when abilities like Ado are seemingly demonstrated in front of their eyes and ears over and over, they just refuse and act like morons... Don't worry about them; like you say, they're brain dead.
@yohaneslouise2961 Oh, I absolutely know that not everyone in chat is brain dead, but they are a loud minority that should be banned from the stream for bringing nothing but negativity, spoiling shows, and/or are constantly trying to recommend/request him to watch this and that, even when he's not taking requests.
Another example I can think of is Godish. She plays around with that with the different ranges of her voice and it's just so frickin good. Easily one of my favourite covers of hers.

She does an amazing job of putting emotion into her music. She's not just singing the lyrics. She's pouring so much emotion into all the lyrics in a way that even those who don't know the language can feel the pain, anguish, and sadness.
You have to listen to her live performance cuz the pure raw singing in that version is absolutely amazing. I almost cried when I heard the scream it was that good

TK in my opinion is the best at singing 'Unravel' but what an absolute amazing performance by Ado. Hope to see more covers by her in the future!
If you take recommendations I recommend to react to ONE OK ROCK. They are a Japanese rock band that has passionate performances with amazing vocals and instrumentals. Two songs that are really good from them are "We Are" and "Take What You Want."

If you're interested, there's two people that I watch. Jonathan Young and Caleb Hyles, and both of them have done anime openings in English.
Jonathan has a ton of great English translated openings including Attack on Titan, One Punch Man, Tokyo Ghoul, JJK, Death Note, etc, and Caleb does a GREAT version of Again by Yui from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and great Soul Eater and Death Parade openings.
Again, they both do a ton of other anime openings, but those are just a few I can think of off the top of my head.
You should really check them out and react to them. ♥

If you were to ever get the time you should definitely check out Ado's song "I'm a Controversy" and especially her cover song of "God-ish" because I feel like she displays her amazing vocal range from high to low in that one especially

pretty sure the chatter was probably on about the guitar, which i agree, i 100% prefer the original guitar. Ado's voice is so fucking good though it cancels it out xD
It's not about the guitar; I believe the majority of his chat group despises Ado, such as Ado-Show, which is excellent but not good enough for them or even liked by them.
Just a reminder: I'm not a huge fan of Ado, but she definitely has what it takes to sing, unlike some who can't. It's annoying to see people criticizing an evident skill in front of their eyes and ears but still acting like idiots, hating people with no evidence or even facts about what makes it terrible except to themselves by stating it's my opinion, in which case they can't even sing like she did. It's incredibly dumb.
