Are there grippier drift tire options in 1/24 like the old school hard rubbers for 1/10, or is all 1/24 drifting relegated to rear motor, 60 to 70% rear weight bias, ultra-low-grip setups?

The pink car is a xrx dpa chassis, and the other two cars are driftart chassis. 🤘

Awesome tandems! What body is the 180sx? 1/24 model? I want one! I just got a rn80 hilux 110mm body, hopefully it’s not too long next to other minis.

Hey guys Me and a few guys are looking to get into the 1/24 drifters and we are purchasing the xrx ARTR just wondering what are some of the must haves to make it killer like chassis and big offset wheels and weights?

Thanks bud 🤘 I'm using a 2s 200mah - 450mah depending on which car body I'm running. 300mah seems to be a good all around size and good driving times around 45mins.

I use a brand named Bias, with the 3 different plugs to give me power options for multiple esc plugs and power for the lights. I belive their on Amazon And ebay.

I’m building a da3 chassis right now; it’s my first 1/24 drift build; what kind of wheels do you use on these things. The fronts on the s13 look like Aoshima longchamps I have lying around for model kits

Awesome. That's a great chassis to get started with 🤘 the wheels they run are the mini-z awd type wheels. The rwd type have a different hub and do not bolt up. I'm running the kyosho te37 from route66 on the front and back. The offset and if they are wide or thin will depend on the setup your running ect. Some of the Chinese wheels are 20mm and 22mm. I prefer the 20mm as they are more scale looking. For tires i would use dsracing. Check out rcsupremacy.com they have a great selection of wheels and tires.

For the esc and motor? Running the xrx sensorless brushless esc and 3500kv motor. I did Increase the pinion size to a 19 tooth to get a little more wheel spin at top end. Seems to be a really good final drive.
