Bump I want to set up a box like this to pilot my track switches. Does anyone in the whole wide world know where I can buy one of these things. Thanks.
Wow! What a layout! Just found your channel! I started my first layout 1 year ago. We almost make the same types of videos. Would be very glad if you checked one of my videos and tell me what you think. Thanks for the inspiration! /Susanne
It's the standard jute/sisal stuff you can find in garden centres 😂 seriously though, how he gets it to look so good should be a video in itself, I've tried and it looks naff 😊 @dan if you are still about a tutorial would be most welcome (nothing on UA-cam showing the technique)
Great video ! I have recently seen your other video at New Junction building baseboards ! Do you have a business that goes round building baseboards for people as I really could do with your help or someone just like yourself to make some baseboards for me ! The ones you built looked absolutely spot on. Cheers !
Hi Andy, Yes this is part of my model railway business services that I can offer .The baseboards for New Jinction were made at my workshop then transported and erected there .. Please drop me and email if you would like to know anymore @ tunnellanemodelrailways@hotmail.com
Hi Tom, pop over to Facebook and to my page where there are more details .I visit this layout on a weekly basis, I will do an overall video at some point soon.
Yes for large areas like this I use hanging basket liner as a base matting..Great stuff and saves a fortune on building up the static grass up this thick to start with..
I was surprised you were using flower basket liners, can you explain more on how you use this material and eventually pretty it up. Great work by the way.
Nice work - I might need your services in the medium term 👍😊
Great video but the audio levels suck
Oh ok noted, which bit as in my speaking? Or music?
@@tunnellanemodelrailways2528 music is way louder then your speaking.

Brilliant stuff Dan, great video and great process on Larkrise
Where can we find more information on the layout and track plan? It would be interesting to see its overall size an dimensions.

Great video, what was the product that you used for the grass?
Looks like hanging basket liner. It's not bad stuff especially if mixed with various static grasses and/or flocks etc
@@musoseven8218 thanks, how hard is it to add addition grasses to the mat?

@@Gobucky63 No real issues, you might need to trim a few matted bits first, but it should be fine👍🤞😊😊
I’d love to see more videos of you doing this kind of thing ,how you build up scenery and what you use
Noted for next time Brian..
