This is beautiful, & the video is very helpful for me. I'm trying to learn how to use appliques for dance competition costumes, trying to save myself some money with the pandemic killing my savings account 🙃 I've been in dance my whole life & been around costumes too, but have never made my own. I don't know how to sew well by any means, but I get by with the basics thankfully, but I want to become better & make beautiful costumes for my daughter & hopefully to also sell on the side, but sometimes I just get so lost in how I should apply the appliques bc they really help make a plain base leotard look so special, but some of them are so hard to work with, but watching your videos has helped me tremendously & I just wanted to tell you thank you & keep making your beautiful pieces, they're like artwork ❤

Hi, was your interfacing fabric the same as your lining fabric just in a different color?
Also did you have 5 total layers of fabric once complete?
