I would suggest using a press cloth always! Just a piece of cotton between iron and garment, never know what might accidentally have been burned or melted onto the iron that you could accidentally transfer to your pristine white gown
I'm learning so much from you about sewing I'm a beginner and I love watching these videos as they are so inspiring. Thank you so much for making these videos as well, it's teaching me much about sewing and I'm really enjoying it!

Quick tip- Next time you sew appliqués to mesh (or any translucent fabric) sew it from the opposite side, much smoother without getting caught on pins and beads.

I sew everything by hand. I have two sewing machines, but I'm more comfortable doing it by hand. I've sewn a king size quilt together by hand.
???!! It took me over a year to peice together a quilt by machine... although i did quilt by hand. Even the idea of doing a king size amish style made me shudder.

Beautiful, I remember when I made my wedding dress and cut out n applied the lace pieces also n then sewed pearls on them. I can relate 2 sticking myself many times w the needle but in the end it turned out Beautiful. Enjoy yr special day. Much happiness.
