Fallout 4 in a nutshell
Sadly. My fav part about fallout games was my ability to talk myself into/out of entire battles.
Sucks they had to do 4 like that. Haven't gotten through it due to that nonsense.
Acting like their 'combat' is enough to carry a game.
Fallout 4 specifically for sure because some of the options be like "ok let's calm down" then the character says something that steers you into a messy situation anyway completely disregarding the choice the player made.
shittt more like the previous fallouts man I hated FO4 dialogue and how it stripped down dialogue options to your four buttons on the controller smh

That part at 1:27 where he gets just a tad bit too close to the guy and he shoots off in the other direction real quick is very convincing as a video game NPC. The movements and mannerisms were really well done in this one lol.

This felt like a real video game, omg. The camera over the shoulder was *Chef Kiss*
It might not be considered an RPG but this was one of the reasons I liked Way of The Samurai 3 because not only could you literally kill everyone in the game, you could kill the save point guys or they could go crazy and try and kill you, but you got an ending for doing it.
The game had a bunch of endings and different new game modes and the ability to unlock every npc as a playable skin, like Instant kill mode was fun cause any kit could kill you or the enemy and force a game over so you could beat the game one shoting samurai in full armor as a housewife with her trusty short green onion.
There was also cool little details like the shameful slash which is when fighting a female character in a kimono you could do a low glancing slash that would cut off the bottom of the kimono forcing the female character to stop fighting you and cover up their legs and scurry away. You could also flip your sword and use the blunt side to knock your opponent unconscious and do a no kill run, or just beat them unconscious with your hands which takes forever.
Man this is so well done hahaha
