I'm curious. For anyone that reads this comment, tell me which place you'd rather live in: Metropolis or Gotham?
Gotham got a high crime rate, crazy mofos, and the freaking Batman drifting in his Batmobile. Everyday is a gamble you don't get mugged, kidnapped, or killed.
But Metropolis got Superman fighting bad guys that can level buildings, throw him through towers, and the only way to make the money and get insurance to cover the damages to your property, is to work for a megalomaniac who will choose you to be an experiment to kill Superman, if he wants to.
Metropolis all the way even with the city wide destruction happening every month at least most of the villans aren't going out of there way to kill random people in Gotham has villans going around just to hurt random people no larger goals or anything just murder

Metropolis easily. Gotham got new villains and goons coming out of the street cracks. Even if a big time villain like Joker isn’t after you for no reason somebody is going to try to rob and kill you for an equally no good reason. Superman tends to deal with higher level villains so I just have to evacuate once a month and hope I have a house when it’s over. Gotham I’m fighting for my life damn near every day and I’m more than likely broke.
