You are aware that 3DS games have a region lock coding on them right? A Japanese 3DS will not load USA games and vice-versa. It has nothing to do with hardware limitations, it's just Nintendo trying to control imports.

I like the 3ds xl, dont get me wrong, but it is very big and bulky and the 3ds seems to have more feautures....i would be thankful for a 3ds at all, because all i have is a nintendo ds lite. Lame right? Hah :/
Trying to choose over the Aqua Blue or the Pearl Pink :/ Hard choice since blue is my favorite color but the pink looks better on the console

I realize this is 10 months late but, she lives in Japan, so I don't see the problem with her owning a Japanese 3DS.
