Hi bro! In one of previous videos, you hadn't added alcohol (perfume, etc). Mixing of alcohol to ink would improve the quality of writing?
HI, Goutam CV actually when you add alcohol or perfume to ink it makes covalent bonds with ink which converts into a reaction and change the colour of ink.if you fill this homemade gel ink into your blue trimax it will encourage the writing of your pen and will give a original blue shade to your trimax pen.THANKS FOR WATCHING!

Yes,you can use alcohols as both ink and alcohol have carbon as there base element both of them will form a covalent bonds and dry ink will become lequid ink. NOTE that dryed ink do not have any oil based molecules.THANKS FOR WATCHING! And sorry for late response!

What should be the ideal ratio of perfume to fountain pen ink ?
I don't think he bothered about that.
But, anyway the only way to know is by doing R&D.
Just check few samples with different ratios till you get the ideal one

Are you talking about gel pens that you buy in packs (or not) in Pastels, Glitters, Neons etc? Cos i thought they were water based? Or do you mean ink for a fountain pen?
Hi Melinda Brooks ,here I am talking about liquid based gel pens, showing how to make ink for gel pens , you can make gel ink and can also use it in fountain pen, THANKS FOR WATCHING!
Gel pen inks are made of pigments suspended in water and thickeners such as xanthan gum. I believe what is being done here is more of a fountain pen or regular ink substitute because there is no gel (gel thickening agents) involved at all and this method is alcohol based instead of water and gel-based. I’m sure this is a fun and economical way to refill another type of pen 🖊 and I may have to try it sometime ,as I have tons of colored inside inks a s well as liquid watercolor which are permanent pigment based colors, however , I have yet to find a true gel-based ink formula to use as a suitable opaque gel refill. Thanks for the interesting video for this type of ink though. I mean no disrespect in my comment. 😉 actually, I’m curious as to the purpose of the alcohol inclusion. Since you have ink which is intended for pen use 🖊 already could you help me out and tell me why the solution with the alcohol is necessary? Is this a ballpoint pen 🖊 refill as they tend to be alcohol or oil based; if I’m remembering correctly. 🧐 Thanks for your time! 🤩

You can buy 95% alcohol from store. And can use that instead of perfume
Yes,but for making small amount of ink we need not to go and travel and buy raw alcohol instead we all have perfume and it will be more favourable for us to directly use perfume rather then using alcohol.THANKS FOR WATCHING.
Are you aware of the cost of perfume? That refill is going to cost at least 100 rupees even if only 4-5 ml of perfume is used
The alternative is using medical spirit or some other alcohol-based product
