For fuse totems, as soon as you get close enough, they have a short timer for a free item, otherwise, the explode and you get nothing. It's as simple as that, so it has no cost. There is also a glass totem which is the fuse one, but no timer. Glass is completely random though and it's an equal chance for everything, unlike a fuse, which has better odds for higher tier items.
called fuse because it's like a bomb fuse, in games like this we always think about fusing 2 items. that's where sifd, (and i ) was confused as he said
Hello Sifd & Community, 1) If you drop perks you can salvage them by holding X - you get crystals back. Also if you see an option that is "gain X amount of crystals" check to make sure you can't salvage for more, quite frequently you can salvage those perks for more value than selecting the perk. 2) META: Cluster Launcher/Crossbow - Cluster Launcher has an incredible scaling build similar to the crossbow. Firstly you want Bouncing Shot & Piercing Shot then get Aura Shot and All You Can Eat perk (on kill you get infinite ammo for a period of time.) Then you gather scaling damage perks - anything except delayed damage is acceptable. 3) If your goal is "infinite" ie. more than level 30. You want early Economy perks. Tony's Black Card (discount in shop) mixed with additional items in shop can help a lot. More crystals on kill and paycheck - crystals after each island. Rarely you will find Big Chests (More loot in chests) and Faulty Chests (Chance to choose multiple items per chest - green dice buffs chances). Double Vision = chance to spawn additional chests (works on boss chests which can spawn multiple legendary chests) 4) One of the most OP traits for long games is "Rare Treasure" it's a legendary power that has a small chance when you kill an enemy they will drop perks. - On a hoard I've received 30+ perks drop in one wave. 5) Greed Totems are RED - Beware some of these are incredibly horrible to work with, most of them are very strong. 6) Health Totems are Green - 50% chance to double hp or 50% to halve hp. Note: Long games 100+ on avg people have 50K hp and 200+ they have 500K+ hp. (scaling with "Big Hearts" perk) 7) Shards Totems are Purple - gain crystals at the cost of HP - Early on these are good, but later in the game they're not used. 8) Grenade builds are great for multiple reasons but get outscaled by the shear damage a weapon can produce with bouncing/piercing/homing/aura shot abilities. With that being said, the black hole ability on your grenade is very strong for bosses - black hole sucks the creatures into the center and also sucks in all incoming/outgoing projectiles meaning you can shoot into the black hole and it will suck all the shots into the creatures in the middle causing insane damage.
I'd also like to add; Once you have collected all guns you can use your Keys on the unlock totem prior to launching a game and it will give you a random "perk" to use on your next game. This can give you quite a good head start to your next attempts and can guide your "builds" as well. - Note - especially important when doing achievement runs.
Love how it is called FUSE totem and Sifd is like "What does this do". I guess maybe he thinks of Fuse as in combine or something? But really it just means its a Totem that is destroyed after a short period of time like a fuse on a bomb.
Wow, I was also quite confused. I was wondering what the timing had to do with combining things and didnt even think of fuse as an activator for explosives
i just finished a 3 hour run with a grenade launcher. money is power is rly strong (caps at 100k per level) cus eventually you will have millions. there is a mod that makes your shots have aura's around them, if you combo that with glue shot it will shred enemies. also crits are insanely busted with the 3x crit and the crit scaling in this game in general. critical thinking (more crit dmg but less non-crits) combined with regular crit damage. you just shred a boss in seconds
Sifd I'm not sure if you look back at new comments on old videos but I'm telling you bro you should absolutely do armor plates. I know you aren't a health buff in games but listen, there's a perk that gives you 50% damage for each armor plate you've got. So if you've got 6 playes that's 300% damage. More than lots of greed perks give you with a much less detrimental downside
38:49 SIIIIFD! You lost all of your hp because you used totems that take 33% of hp based on your MAX hp, it's hard to heal up 1.7K hp when healing orbs give only like 20 per and 100 per second in the healing zone thingy.
i dont think you fully appreciate how broken a lot of the stuf can get that you said was useless. a lot of the perks really dont shine until you start looping runs. like the perk that gives you 1% damage for every 1000 crystals doesnt seem like much early, but when youre on level 80-100+ and youre getting 100000+ crystals per island, and you have multiple stacks of the perk, insane damage... or you get 10 sentry turrets and 10 sniper turrets, and ten stacks of extra turret damage, and you barely have to use your weapon.. or you get 10+ stacks of melee range and your melee hits further than the launcher you were using in this run... armor is also really useful because a lot of tougher enemies deal elemental damage and it makes you more sustainable when things get insane.. you need to try more of the upgrades before writing them off, especially in a game like this thats all about broken builds, everything is useful in its own way..
skill = big mags / less recoil for crit i usely take the simple crit thing and the violet mega crit econimy = i love money shot and anything that give money ( for exemple healing give money ) dmg = usely the flat upgrade elemental = random is op speed = fire rate legendary = just hope to get homming ( op tier =p )
1k life is even that much, i got more than 3k life and only played a couple runs, that is the power of the health upgrades, you have some that increase you hava a lot health scalling skils, not just flat health
Ur shots started at 25, u added 45 flat and 50% and are doing 70... seems like the 50% isnt right or that 45 flat was spread over each grenade in the shot? also the short range AOE with ur shots is really good man. you just need a few levels. if you took it early and upgraded it, it woulda been way better. so is the tighter spread and less recoil but u need to be really accurate. super strong tho. also "i want mid-fight healing" well u sold it lol, and never take health chest rooms. they are helpful. "fire fireballs along with your shots "thats useless" are u high bud? oh and yeah that passing on the 7k from that chest was a bad call. and the dev needs to adjust money = power it is soooo bad

The glass totem can randomly break, and it also breaks if anything shoots it

@@SnappuNoKoe It doesn't randomly break, but enemies/rock effects can also break it.
@@ninjashoe2158 ah gotcha, my shots must've bounced over to it.
Fuse totem has a 15 second timer once you've been near it, before it breaks on it's own.
Glass totem has no timer, but *will* break from shooting it.

5:42 OMG hahahaha noooooooooo
Ah man. When the crabs really start to snap back. They’re all doing the crab rave now.
46:10 you were flawless why did you do that
Love it, checks microphone and messes up game audio.
I've had 'Jump, jump, jump around!' stuck in my head while you played.
Please do more of this game 😊
This is exactly what i imagine when i think sifd gameplay
Live for the crabs, die for the crabs

I 100% thought it was going to fuse 2 items together or some odd mechanic like that
Crab has become demo-crab reeeeeeeee….say hello to team fortress 2 bois 😂😂😂. We do be drunk and pinching people😂😂😂😂
Blue crab has shot the food. Also the fuse totem.
i just finished a 3 hour run with a grenade launcher.

Yo Sifd I have so much fun watching your videos that I honestly didn't even notice the audio cut off at one point. :D
Hey Sifd, you fixed the audio immediately! 🎉
41:45 at least check how much damage you get, a 100% is a lot. . .
Health upgrades aren’t just max health it’s stuff like regeneration.
Health upgrades are ALL upgrades related to health, be it healing drops, lifesteal, regeneration, max health or shield.
@Bonkoul Rewiew That's what I said pretty much/implied? The ultra detail wasn't needed.
I'm loving this game
31:49 He says he’s trying to look for assassin on right side and as soon as he says it, it appears… I think he missed it though.
Fuse totem = limited time to activate (get before fuse runs out)?
The amount of time he is moving backwards into enemies makes me incredibly anxious.
22:37 don't they stack?
1:14:29 I saw😂 play more

Hey Sifd! More of this game!
love your content.
Why do you hold jump
Try to use your crystals to unlock more slots earlier

..... @Sifd just disable the webcam mic in your sound settings in your pc.
Money=power is for infinite runs.
Also shields are busted late game, they are based on 1/6 of your life each.
I’d love to see a truly busted run eventually
I had a run last night where I had over 60k health and could hit 3M dps after just a couple loops
the 50% to lose half your life you can use multiple times from the same totem
pls play more sifd and play co-op with timetogrind
great game
NoooooooOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! lol
Classic just Classic.. lol

yo sifd, i straight up don't hear any music at all from the start till the point you "fix" it, and even beyond that point.
1k life is even that much, i got more than 3k life and only played a couple runs, that is the power of the health upgrades, you have some that increase you hava a lot health scalling skils, not just flat health

imo scaling just one multiplier is bad... it is better to scale different multipliers at the same time
