Eye bags are mild swelling or puffiness under the eyes. They're common as we age and the tissues around your eyes weaken, including some of the muscles supporting your eyelids. Fat that helps support the eyes can then move into the lower eyelids, causing them to appear puffy.
When strengthen the eye muscles and move the lymph/toxins/extra fluid out of the eye area and help it drain away, then we’ll significantly improve the look those eye bags.
We’ll need to work delicately with this rather fragile area so please make sure your eye area is moisturised (all around the eye) and follow my instructions carefully for best results. This video can be added to your daily facial workout regime, that way you’re minimising eye ageing with consistent and targeted practice that takes minimum time!

It is quite incredible- the change I felt in the face, the sensation of my facial muscles, it’s difficult to explain- kind of warm tingling feeling as if blood and lymph are flowing freely and the face is alive. Also instantly looks better under the eyes and all over - I have started doing Polina’s routines a couple months back and due to work schedule (excuse!) do maybe 2-3 times a week. And each time I do it I feel the uplift and change. ❤

I am suffering from eye bags and dark circles for nearly 2 years now. Which has made me so self conscious as it has affected the youthful look of my face.

I use a U shaped pillow that's typically used around the neck while sleeping upright. I sleep on my side and rest my forehead and neck on the pillow, leaving my cheek area free in the open space.

Thank you so much for this video. I have just subscribed to your channel. In the first two exercises I can't seem to isolate my lower lids without drawing in my eyebrows (probably the reason I have bad 11 lines and forehead creases) or looking up. What would you recommend?
Thanks for becoming a subscriber Loiuse! 🌸💆♀ face yoga is all about isolation of the face muscles so keep practicing until you can engage the eyes and keep the forehead still. You can always start with some beginner eye exercises in my separate video for Beginners to gain the muscle control :)

How often would you recommend doing these techniques? I’m 52 and have significant eye bags.
Thanks for your question 🌸 daily exercise is the best especially if you have a signifiant issue with this already. I'd recommend memorising the exercises so you can do them on your own which will be quicker and therefore take up less space in your day, consistency is everything !💆♀
Hi polina. Can this exercise be done every day being as it includes lymphatic drainage? I’m never sure if it’s ok to do lymphatic drainage every day. Many thanks

Hi Amanda, thanks for your question 🌸 the lymphatic drainage here is very very soft, it simply helps to activate the lymph around the face, so it's safe to do every time you do this workout but of course if you feel it's too much, just skip it and do it every other time, absolutely fine 🌷

Hello Polina. Than you for the information but I have several questions. For me it’s difficult to find and activate each muscle. How to do that? I noticed that unconsciously my lips are moving them not my muscles moving my lip muscle. Would you make a video to how activate four different muscles. I know where they are but can not move them by themselves without lips help. How many times do the exercises or sets per day? Some of these exercises make my laugh line deeper. Is it ok or I should put my finger to stop more deepness on my laugh lines. 😊
Thank you for the questions, and for working with the video🌸💆♀ In this video we're engaging and isolating eye muscles, so lips and mouth should stay relaxed and not involved. Do keep practising preferably with a mirror until you can achieve the isolation. You can do the amounts shown in this video for your daily set, not more than that. I have a feeling your question about the laugh lines refers more to the cheek video, not to the eye one ? You can smooth out any lines with your fingers to lessen them while doing the exercises. Hope this helps! 😀
Apparently my upper eyelids don’t move without eyebrows so I’m not sure how is it possible 🧐

Are your eyebrows moving? Eyes can move within the sockets as long as you're looking down and keeping forehead still :) less is more with this one!
Although my eye muscles will move upwards I don’t feel any pulsing , does this mean it’s not working ? I’ve been doing for one month now .
Pulsing simply means contracting and releasing the muscles. Do you feel any tightening in the eye muscles ? if yes, then the pulsing is working. If you don't feel anything then perhaps you're not isolating/engaging the eye muscles. Try and use a mirror to connect to the eyes better, and with patience and practice it will become easy to feel the pulses working🌸
Definitely feel and see lower eye movement but not pulsing , I’m
practicing with your videos every day and being consistent , after four weeks starting to see some improvement and definition but I am 70 ! So .. 😁

Mam i want to send you my face photo where to send can you pls tell i am only 14 years old and u am having my left side of my face and eye is more lifted than the other and thats why the left side of my face fully filled with fluids during night time or bed time and after waking up in the morning it looks swollen and i look a completely different person and by the night when the puffiness completely go away i look good , mam pls tell me solution and pls also help me i want to send you the photo where to send it pls kindly inform 🙏🏻
Thanks for writing in with your issue. I'll be happy to review your photo, please send on polina@radiantyears.co.uk, both photos preferably where you look puffy after waking and also in the evening when you don't look puffy. Please note I am not a doctor so if I can give any advice, it will be purely for the purposes of rebalancing the puffiness through face yoga exercises IF it's suitable for you. For cases of extreme swelling, which might carry an underlying health condition, you will need to consult a doctor. In any case, please don't panic! Everything can be resolved with the right approach 🌸

FYI the sternum is not at the bottom of your neck...... previous video about face, neck exercises
We hold at the base of the neck i.e top of the sternum - do look up anatomy and you'll see the sternum starts at the level of collarbones and continues down through the centre of the chest

The exercises will help to improve the look of the eyes, and if you have mild fat herniation, this will help to improve it, although in more severe cases I'm not sure it will make significant improvements but you can try 💆♀🌸
