Russian protesters - arrest-resistant protest tactic

  • In Russia, there are millions of good people who want to protest Putin's war, but are cowed into inaction - because of draconian threats of 15 years in prison - even for holding up a blank piece of paper. This brief video is a suggestion of how Russian pedestrians can protest by simply walking in an odd way: 7 steps forward, ... one step back. Accompanying chant is optional. Imagine if millions of protesters did this 'protest walk' during the course of ordinarily walking to wherever they go. Could police arrest them for walking in an odd way? Doubtful, but the message would get through.
