Yeah that sounds like me jumping off the drum riser. I was and still am quite the wildwomen on stage. Back then, they didnt know what to do with me. I was the only women in rock at the time so there was no marketing formula for a female fronted hard rock band. Flame would have been huge if not for the bad management and BS politics that I cant talk about. Someone needs to re-release the Flame Albums. Its pure classic 70's rock. Thank you for your support. xoxo Marge
Is there any live videos of Flame on UA-cam? That would be cool. You were great in concert back with Nektar. Saw you play at SIUE at the MRF under the big tent, that would be totally cool to see Flame in concert again. Flame should go on tour.
Marge Raymond KSHE 95 in St. Louis still plays this song on the Klassics show on Sunday mornings sometimes. They keep great songs like this alive, and that's what brought me here!
Saw you in 1977 or 78 you can remember at a little club in Cambridge Ma. Do remember you guys really smoked on this song. But never heard anything more from you. All well.
awesome!! I saw them in concert open for nektar back n the day. this lead singer chick was dancing all around, jumping off the drum stand at the end of each song, they basically blew nektar away. Nektar just stood there, and they were a spacy slow prog band. Too bad Flame did not make it bigger!!
The singer was doing backing vocals on ELO's album FACE THE MUSIC (you can clearly hear her on "Evil Woman") and some of the guys behind the mixing boards thought she was so good thet they decided to build a band around her, and that's how the band got started.
