I learned soo much about Gambian culture, and how that is another layer to Islam by listening to your spirited discussion. I appreciate the free and open way you bring a lot of issues like the caste system to light.

I would love to see more videos on Gambian culture, and also your relationships with family members, and maybe conversation with a Gambian friend or family member on how life changes after marriage, joys and challenges

I think this video is really amazing. I’m not Muslim but I still understand. I can see a lot things being in non-Muslim and they can benefit from your conversations.
Also the loving part is something that I face sometimes in my relationship. I have my days where I say that I’m not in love but then I remember that what I want for my future is to be married, travel, building our forever home, have children, and more. I think people should really dig deep and have a serious conversation with themselves about weather or not they want this person in my life. Also remembering that you shouldn’t stress yourself over being in love, you’re not always gonna feel like you’re in love so that’s just something that you have to let go of. Because that’s the just reality of things you’re not always gonna feel like you’re in love. Love is something like you guys said, it fluctuates so some days you’re gonna feel like you’re in love with your partner other days you’re gonna feel like you’re just a friend like it’s one of those things that goes up and down by the end of the day you got a remember do you want to this person in your life and deep down do you truly love them. Like do you want those qualities in your life and what not.
If you still want them in your life and you still see a future with them I would say don’t let it go keep praying keep remembering the good and all the things you guys been through. Because eventually for some people that love comes back. I also believe that if you feel like things aren’t moving in the right direction, changes have been made, communication is lacking and more. Try counseling as last resort and if that still is not helping better the relationship. I would say end it.
Also just because you and your partner aren’t doing something it doesn’t mean you guys have a boring relationship not that everything in a relationship has to be a big event it’s just another part of being in a relationship.

This is completely different for reverts .. being African American ( Black) it’s hard for us to find anyone because ppl put culture ( caste ) over religion thn not to mention some ppl dnt hve a wali because they’re the only Muslim revert

As much as I really this caste system in soninkara, because I believe that we are all equal as human beings. But again, I totally agree with the sister with the blue veil. Sorry for addressing you the sister with the blue veil, I don't know your name, hence the girl with the blue veil. It is advisable to take things especially marriage with your family. I believe communication is very important.

I will advise ALL Muslim brothers to stay away from these caste system tribes, those who are tribal, because it’s not worth it, if you marry them, their tribal affiliations and caste system will eventually affect the success of the marriage.
So leave these type of women alone no matter how much Quran they know, or dress islamically or are knowledgeable of Islam.
