Rommel - Great 1st video. The drone shots were amazing. As a former real estate broker for 28 years, I would encourage you to try to bring purpose to each future video. How do you achieve this? Try to structure every video into segments outlining what you are attempting to convey, similar to how you did it, but with more structure. Perhaps, each subdivision that you present shall provide the same structure. For instance, 1. Introduction (drone shots) 2. History of the property 3. Maps highlighting the location (this was missing) 4. Access to the subdivision showing the roads and the elevation would be a valuable feature (elevation available on Google Earth) 5. Subdivision Plan showing the phases & timing or availability of the phases 6. Services available to the lots (water, sewer, storm, electricity, telephone, internet etc) 7. Sales Activity 8. Building Scheme By-Laws 9. Miscellaneous or conclusion of video. This way, prospective purchasers, such as myself, who are educating themselves online before visiting the Boquete region can realistically compare subdivisions apples to apples or apples to oranges before visiting. By helping prospective future immigrants to Panama, like me, you should theoretically develop a following of potential clients for new home construction. I look forward to enjoying more of your videos Mr. Troetsch.
I found so much value in your comment that it will be the base for future storylines and scripts. I highly appreciate the time you spend writing this and I would like to stay in contact with you and if you have any type of questions please let me know sonI can answer you directly or we could even make a video. The purpose of this channel is providing all the info possible to the people that are thinking about moving to panama so they make an informed decision and this is the way that I am doing it. I am going to post more videos about general info, stories of people that are coming here, architecture, construction and real estate and at the same time I am preparing my own business to help all this audience in the best way possible. Again thank you so much and have a great day!
Wow i think this will be a good series for people coming to Boquete, because there are so many micro climates, keep it going! The wind is tough on recording , try a puff ball. And just me maybe but a lot of sales pitches going on, I fast forwarded through a lot of what she said because of that.
Did Cerro Verde have damaging rains or floods from the hurricane in 2020? We are concerned where the flooding occurred, would you show on a map where the landslides and flooding happened? I enjoy your videos thank you.
Beautiful location, but Magda said prices (negotiable) start at $45 per square meter - that's $180,000 per acre, isn't it? Is that a typical land price in the Boquete area?
That is such a big answer that I will make a video about it. But to give you a short answer I will say that prices depend on location, and lot utilities. Having said that, utilities change between lots and locations prices depends on the area so I can not give you an exact answer, I’ve seen 2.5 acre lots under 100k and recently a 14 acre lot was for sale at 6 million (and was sold). This price disparity is because different location and utilities of both lots. Magda’s prices should be at 1.5x or just under 2x the price considering lots with similar location and utilities. The guy that called Magda that day bought 2 lots 😁
Please have Magda contact me. I would like to rent in Boquete month to month to see if I like living there. I was born and raised in Panama, and lived there for 26 years. Im a Panamanian citizen, And want to retire there...
Does this development have a sewer system or are they all hooked up to septic tanks? Also, are there any plans to make roads that would connect Boquete to Bocas del Toro more quickly and directly?
There is the road to caldera that connects boquete to the mountain range that divides chiringuito from bocas del toro. But besides that most of the road must be done in the bocas del toro side and I am not that familiares with that landscape. It is an idea that has been said by a decade now but for some reason it has not been executed yet
I forgot to reply the first question. Very building in boquete is hooked to a septic tank system, there is a sewer system but it’s not everywhere and I think it’s not operational at the moment either
Question: I notice builders use stones to create fences around the homes. Are the stones local and more economical than wood or composite plastic fences like the ones used in the states?
Those are an specific type of natural stones that you can find around the district, it is not the cheapest (it is not the most expensive either) but definitely the nicest way to do a fence around here.
@@AxiomaBoqueteConstruction Thanks for responding. I love the look of stacked stone just curious as in the US we see more privacy fences around properties. The stones are beautiful and add a charming appeal to the property. We plan to retire to Panama in 2023 so your channel is very informative.
This is the most traditional fence that you will see around, is common in old houses and when the real estate boom started people wanted to have a nice house and did those type of fences with the intention to preserve similarities with existing houses. There are other type of fences, taller, with metal bars, concrete blocks, stone finishes and not stone structures all around boquete.
@@AxiomaBoqueteConstruction Thank you for going over that bit of history. That’s what I presumed but wondered if there was a fencing code for height restrictions. In America a stone fence, unless they are already on the property is too costly for the average home owner. Also many people have dogs that they require the tall fences so they don’t roam the neighborhood. This was good information.
You can do any fence you want but the more details there would need to be on plan to get a permit approved (structural and sometimes design wise). That stone fence is the easiest one to approve because it was and still is the most traditional here in Boquete.
Very good but seems to me land price getting expensive until it tops. Hope it does not drive away the ppl of panama out of their own as everything else just gets too much in small farming town of horses now cars adding congestion and pollution. Also Rain can be a big problem when you keep adding huge homes to mountain or hill areas like CA
You should see the other prices around😅😅 this area has a huge demand so prices will increase such as in other regions. Other areas with less demand will go up too but slower. What is your price range?
@@AxiomaBoqueteConstruction pero esta deforestación ya está calentando y hasta se suda en boquete.
