Polished or stained concrete used to be trendy for a while in the States. However - wood porcelain tile seems to last for ages. Indeed it's a beautiful and practical flooring material for over a decade now. Available in hundreds of sizes, shades and finishes. Because of those choices it will probably last eternally - though it's "wood" but every floor has it's own unique character. Is it also available in Panama in such a variety of choices?
As you know, I went through a similar polished concrete floor fiasco on our build …not fun.

Yes, it has been heavily used here for the last 10 years and it looks like it’s not going away 👍🏼
