Saya and Paroma touched on the controversy surrounding their enlistment. But there was so much to it. Years of rival fans harassing them for not enlisting sooner. The BTS law was created with specific requirements that only BTS can meet at such a young age. Other idol groups would have to do something miraculous to be able to get the same postponement opportunity. The government went back and forth with "Maybe we should exempt them. No, maybe we shouldn't". The Big 3 companies of kpop were trying to influence the government to allow reachable standards for exemptions for all kpop idols using BTS as an example even though they've used every dirty trick in the book to keep BTS and Bighit down from day one. BTS and Bighit/Hybe stayed out of these talks while BTS always said they would enlist. The worst came shortly before they enlisted. The government started coming up with the idea of BTS doing "alternative service" for two years (instead of 18 months) and basically performing at the government's beck and call. Our guys shut that down the day after the Busan concert. Then, after Jin and J-hope had already enlisted, the Boy Scout Jamboree catastrophe happened. SK was hosting and they made a HUGE mess of it (no shade in extreme heat, not nearly enough toilets for everyone attending, the campsite wasn't even complete....lots of campers got sick). So they tried to get BTS to perform (even trying to get Jin and J-hope released from duties) to cover up for their incompetence. They expected them to throw together a performance in a matter of a few days. In the end, Hybe sent them sets of BTS photo cards instead. 😂
Oh wow! I did not know the very last part….but always felt like after years of putting them and Army through “will they or won’t they exempt” BTS said this ends now and decided we’re enlisting!
To be honest a huge amount of controversy surrounded the Busan concert. The city was either completely unprepared for an event of this magnitude or they grossly underestimated the pull of BTS. They'd first chosen an absolutely impossible venue outside the city which would honestly have been a possibly life threatening nightmare for the attendees, the infrastructure was not equipped to handle this many people and the security for both the attendees and the group was sorely lacking. Many things suggested that a lot of the choices made were due to corruption. Big Hit actually stepped in and paid out of pocket for the needed changes to keep everybody safe and to avoid a disaster which would most likely have been put on BTS and Big Hit's shoulders even though they weren't originally the ones in charge . For a concert they gifted the local and national government! At the time we didn't know about Jin's enlistment but they announced it the very next day which was such a power move, ending all speculation that they should or shouldn't be exempt and the allegations that gifting the free concert was some sort of "bribery" to keep them out of enlisting. Very well played media play. Even the set list was clearly put together as a FU to those trying to use them as political pawns. They chose some of their most political songs, FU songs and personal freedom/development songs and even changed the lyrics to some parts. All this at a concert attended by powerful local and national officials and politicians. It was honestly the most inspired subtle way of taking back power and telling them they would be the ones deciding their own path. Pure *chef's kiss* 💜
Totally agree. This concert was perfect and exemplary in many way : how to organise and keep safe a giant concert inspite of the negligence and corruption of the local government/ how to give to your Army fans the most memorable moment before enlisting / how to end média and political nasty games around you and say FU to all the politicians who try to use them like puppets ! Epic and beautifuly done .
Just a small clarification about fanchants. The ladies said that fanchants aren't song specific. I would clarify that the NAME fanchant isn't song specific, but there are official fanchants for pretty much all title tracks and these ARE specific to each song. The name chant is a part of some of them, but not all of them. The label usually releases the official fanchant within a couple of days of a song release at least, but always before the first public performance of that song. ARMYs attending live performances know that their job is to memorize the fanchant so they know what to say and when/where to say it within the song. It's not uncommon for ARMY to have to memorize the chants within 24 hours, to make sure they can do it well for the first live performance. For BTS, the name fanchant is in the order of leader, oldest, next oldest, etc. So it's: Kim Namjoon Kim Seokjin Min Yoongi Jung Hoseok Park Jimin Kim Taehyung Jeon Jung Kook BTS
Thank you for that information. I am a relatively new Army, when the label releases the fan chant, where /how is this done? I went to Suga concert but that is all.
Weverse is how the label talks to fans. This is how we talk to the guys too. There are also lots of YT army accounts that share fan chants. @@PurpleBias7 Welcome army!
@@PurpleBias7I’ve been ARMY since early 2016 & back then the fan chants were posted on FanCafe (this was an old platform Idols & fandoms used) & K-ARMY would make videos or audio of the chants so I-ARMY knew what they were. I’ve given up on getting to a concert (health reasons) so I haven’t really watched for things like that anymore. They probably put them on Weverse (maybe fan club members only I’m not sure)
I was in the crowd that day and it was insane. I usually cannot stand for a long time due to a chronic disease but I stood up an entire day for them (the queue was long + concert), and I jumped and danced: only BTS can make me do that. When it came out in theaters, I brought my nephews and nieces, my mom and my sister and they were all stunned that people could stand, stand, sing and scream in the screening room but also they discovered BTS' message and power and finally understood my "obsession". Thank you for this in-depth reaction! 💜
I love what Saya was saying about Jin, he really did shine here! Also keep in mind that Jin was very sick with Epiglottis for a while before this concert and he still had trouble talking while getting ready before the concert, but luckily his voice started feeling fine right before having to come out on stage!!!!!💜🤯💜 The universe really does love our boys!!!🥰 Fun Fact, Mic Drop was inspired by Former President Obama’s speech where he dropped the mic at the end.
Right! I was searching the comments to see if anyone had told them that, as it wasn't mentioned during the reaction - the fact he hit those high notes in Run BTS so clearly after hardly being able to talk...and knowing it'd be his last concert before enlistment, you've got to think he almost willed/manifested his recovery into existence 😃🥰 Happy Birthday our Jinnie! 💜
@@fay-mSOPEfan62 Yes, I was so mind blown to find out just how sick he was!!!🥺 It always hurts to see them suffer, especially when it comes to their voices because of how much it means to them.
I watched this concert at the cinema. The guys jumped out of the screen. On the song "Cypher Part 3" RM screaming "Fuck you, I don't care, you can't control my shit" was definitely aimed at the government representants that attended in the VIP area. I'm metal fan to my core, not classic metal, the extreme genres of metal: Death, Doom, Funeral, Industrial, Grindcore, Stoner, some progressive, some alt, some atmospheric Black... mathcore, etc. But BTS performances are the most extreme that I've seen, because THEY MEAN WHAT THEY SAY, there's reasons of their pent-u rage, they address the bullshit thrown at them with witty lyrics and savage performances. That is the reason why many metal and rock fans are attracted to the BTS lore.
I totally agree. I think there's a level of unfilteredness that is refreshing, because you'd expect their every move to be sanitized for PR reasons. But they go all out when they are frustrated.
I flew to Busan with tickets for the livestream at Busan Port and my friend was at the stadium. Agree, the Busan politicians totally failed and its no surprise Busan didnt win the bid. The concert was hard carried by BTS & Hybe. That said, the atmosphere of ARMYs in Busan was amazing, everywhere we went everyone was wearing purple and with BTS/BT21 merch and gear. ARMY's roar once Run BTS started playing was incredible, it was so amazing. I still remember receiving the "THis is BigHit Music" announcement of Jin's enlistment the next day
Suga is just cool by default. Reference to a time when they had a photoshoot in a forest with ethereal vibes. One of the staff asked Suga to relax and told him not to try to look cool. And Suga just responds with, "I'm so relaxed I could fall asleep."
To explain about Korean to English romanization, when they were talking about Jungkook's name for example, the Korean language treats the letters "G" and "K" as making the same sound. It's a soft "guh" or "kuh", but they don't really make those two different sounds, Korean doesn't have a strong "K" noise. Sometimes you'll see Yoongi's name written as "Yunki", but it's pronounced the same. I'm not sure if this was of interest to anyone, just wanted to give an explanation as to why. 😅 Korean sounds can be a bit difficult to Romanize.
With respect to SUGA's Suchwita episode at ua-cam.com/video/6QSdJM3wGSM/v-deo.htmlsi=DFtNhGSo_XoCP0KO, airing at 8AM EST, we have delayed this premiere by 45 minutes. We hope you get to enjoy both!
I watched my first taped BTS concert yesterday, and was surprised to see how... welcoming (?) They were. I was expecting them to be cool and aloof, very removed from the fans. But they smiled, acknowledged the crowd, waved...I was surprised. Pleasantly!
@@2Chuathey love interacting with fans as much as possible, there was a time when jin used to make paper hearts for army and would pop them out of the weirdest places, from small ones to one basically as big as him 😭
Oh cool! They're back! I can't wait to watch this. Can't wait to see your reaction to this one. This performance was truly epic. Plus this was their last concert for the meantime before they announced Jin's military enlistment. So it was a very special concert as well! 💜
In addition to the looming military service announcement, I think there's another reason the brakes came off for this concert-- this was the first time they got to perform in front of K-ARMYs without any pandemic restrictions. No clappers, no staying in seats... just BTS and their ARMY, on their home turf, with all the joy of being together again and performing.
Everyone was wonderful at this concert, but the rap line in CYPHER left the soul on that stage. They sang as if they spill it all the 💩 they had experienced during these 10 years. It was so good!
I watched the Yet To Come concert in theatres with friends. It was packed with ARMYs! We had so much fun singing and dancing along, with our lightsticks. We were thousands of miles away but the energy was as if we were standing in barricades with them. It was truly an amazing free comcert, and the perfect send off for Jin. On a side note, SK govt was really unprepared and lacked the planning skills of an event like this. I dont know if any comments already said this but the first venue was at an open field by the coast that didnt have the necessary facility and roads. Due to ARMYs expressed concerns, venue was moved to the stadium that had to be rehabilitated instantly. Hybe did well to adjust.
I have to share a comment I saw after watching Cipher. I wish I could credit the author. "RM will kill you with words, Jhope will kill you with flow, Suga will just kill you." I love it!
Saw an ARMY post who got to watch YTC Busan live. Op said rapline was singing Cypher pt3 totally unhinged and politicians were in front-ish row😂 So yeah, I hope we can get a continuation of this Busan concert reaction💜
Oh Saya and Paroma are all of us hahaha... They know how we feel when we see the group live, including when they showed this in cinemas... Thank you so much for coming back ladies.... this was such a blast for Jin's birthday and it was just perfect ! Thank you also to Richard and Johnny - we love that you are so willing to learn about all the members and share our love and enthusiam.... Saya and Paroma need to be regulars when you guys do another BTS reaction from the Busan concert.... that would be epic 💜Borahae to all four of you 💜
A special shoutout to Saya who embodies a true OT7 ARMY ☺️ and clarified about j-hope’s journey. If your going to react to Spring Day, please be it a live version so that j-hope will have his lines there cuz he didn’t have any main lines at the original music video Thank you!
I accompanied my daughters to a live concert at Rosebowl stadium in LA in 2019. It was amazing and I fell in love with this amazing band! I am a 62 year old army!
Oh my God this was so much fun to watch! Saya and Paroma are such great representations of ARMY aaah, so proud. Glad to see you've enjoyed this! Can't wait for you to dive into their group songs.
As someone who has spent her entire life in the arts, I love this reaction video almost more than any of them I’ve seen❤️ the reason is simple. BTS message is love yourself compassion and these two young women are demonstrating that beautifully and are wonderful ambassadors of BTS music. The Busan concert was somewhat melancholy for me as a hard-core fan much older, probably three times the age of these young women because the music had carried me for a little over eight years I’ve been listening.. what is wonderful about these two women is their intelligence. They’re humor their passion, and it makes me feel really optimistic for the future of our world. Sending wishes for the very best of all the holidays. Wishing this season to each of you, and to all who listen and for a new year filled with lots of love and beautiful music.
Actually, if you re-watch Throga's reaction to BTS Room Live, Richard really liked the texture of J-Hope's voice. Richard had to rewind J-Hope's bit to re-listen, he said J-Hope 's voice had "girth" to it. J-Hope's voice is not a mash-up of RMv&Suga's voice. His voice is distinct 💜
Someone please get Hobie's "Ego" for Throga already! Alloooo Hobie performed new year's eve Times Square & Lollapalooza. All 7 bring something unique to the table & together they are AWESOME!
@@lotusfloat2020 Exactly. As a hard rock metal fan myself (Aerosmith, Metallica, Guns&Roses, etc), I think they would have enjoyed the lolla performance of More &Arson (rather than the Mama), and for contrast, Ego & Hope World on the 2nd half of Lolla. J-Hope's entrance alone would have been very impressive already 💜
This concert was awesome! I watched it in a theater along with my daughters, granddaughter and great-granddaughters. What a memorable experience! Thanks for the great reaction! I've been ARMY for a few years, but still have lots to learn about BTS so I really appreciate the ladies' comments. 💜💜
Clarification about the fan chant (speaking specifically for bts): When new songs come out, the ones that are likely to be performed at a concert/music show/etc, will also get an official fan chant. Big hit will make a post with the lyrics and they’ll tell us what we should scream out for each part of the song, often like the ad libs from the studio version, words that they want to emphasize, call and response…. So it’s different for each song, but each fan chant will include saying the members’ names in order.
Ahhhhh!!! Looking forward to this reaction!! I just hate that we have to wait so long!! LOL 😂😂😂 Thanks, Gentlemen, for your time, efforts, and interests in BTS 💜💜💜 Much love and support 💜💜💜
This makes me SO HAPPY!!! 😃 I absolutely LOVE watching you guy’s reaction to BTS! I smile from beginning to end every time…Throga (Thronly Fans 😂) is hands down one of the best channels I have ever subscribed to 💜🫶🏼🫰🏼
To clarify what I said during the premiere stream, for most of their history the credits have been *loosely* producers and composers first, followed by lyrics. Not rigidly… but the listings can mask the actual importance of each contribution. Suga has likened their process to a kind of permanent song camp, where contributions are being submitted from various directions, conversations take place, options are accepted or rejected, refining happens and the final form emerges. Bang PD and Pdogg have acted as group and personal mentors and contributors throughout their career, and there have been regular collaborators like Supreme Boi, Adora and others. It’s hard to quantify the importance of Bang in guiding them, encouraging them and enabling their personal and collective growth. He was an award winning songwriter and producer long before he met RM. And there’s a reason why Pdogg is paid millions annually… quite apart from his musical creativity and scope. Johnny has previously mentioned how much skill it takes to meld seven distinct musical personalities into a magical whole.
The Busan concert is absolutely memorable for a multitude of reasons - many of which have been discussed here. But one that you can definitely feel is how UNHINGED it was 🔥 In the best way. BTS is always chaotic and always goes hard during performances. But their choice of choreo, the way they added screams and growls to songs they usually don’t, the changes they made to some of their lyrics … they were making a statement. To the politicians in the audience. To the ppl who had been criticizing them nonstop for years about enlistment. All of that became completely clear when they announced their enlistment the next day. It was a big F U to them all. 🔥🙌🏻
Saya & Paroma are great. Sometimes we do forget certain things because there is just so much but you guys are doing a good job. I have been Army since 2017 and still haven't seen or heard everything. I am still learning information. It helps when you have friends like them to help fill you in on what you've missed. I would love to chat with them myself on some BTS stuff. I am a 50 yr old from California that has no one I know that is Army. Like Saya, I love Jin. I am OT7 but Jin;s voice just floors me more than the others. The guys were definitely fired up for this concert. Great job Richard & Johnny on your journey and trying to remember everything. I appreciate that you just aren't reacting to the videos but really learning and taking it all in. Loved that you had Taylor on here and gave her the attention she deserves.
I still cant understand how tf they performed MIc drop n RUN BTS back tot back but then again they're BTS!!!! Also special appreciation for Jin how he slayed so hard with his throat condition Please check out the Rapline and Vocal line stages too they're amazing specially zero'o clock
Well! I've just spent the last hour wreathed in smiles. Thank you for inviting these lovely women on to your channel. They exemplify the very best of BTS' fandom. :)
This was a GREAT live!!! Loved the interaction between the guests and you guys! Made my Monday morning something extra special! And of course, BTS inspires me so much with this performance! 💜
OMG, I can’t with you guys, the message in the live chat abt delaying the premiere bc of suga’s suchwita episode is SO sweet. You guys are the best. Borahae 💜🥺
Thanks for your BTS reactions! I recently watched this concert on Amazon Prime and the production quality and sound mixing was stellar. This was an epic concert and they gave it their all! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Fan chants are different for different songs and not all songs have fan chants. The label releases the chants before the comeback showcase, so most songs that have chants are the title songs. So when they go to the shows for the showcase, the fans already know the chants.
Just subbed!! Not just because you guys are SUGA biased lol 😂 There's a lot of BTS reactors here who are in the music field, but I love how you guys explain and convey the intricacies of BTS' music... to say the least, I am nerding out and learning a lot! 💜 I'm sure it's already been mentioned, but I share Saya's high praises for Jin in this concert... apart from this being his most badass moment, he was having trouble with his throat for days to the point that he wasn't sure he could sing at all... but as always, BTS never disappoints!
I love this concert! Generally you can see how much they've all improved when they perform old songs like Mic Drop, Butterfly or Run 5-7 years after release. Hobi said earlier in 2022 that they needed to do their own thing for a bit so that when they get back together, they can put everything they've learned into the group and be even more impressive. This concert came after he'd already released his solo album, had performed in Lollapalooza, done all promotions, and was about to perform his solo stage at MAMA 2022... Watching this, Idk if it was my own perception, but I feel like I could see how Hobi really leveled up. So next time they perform together, wow, we're not ready!!
I thought so too! I thought they all were on fire for this concert & were performing over & above their usual over & above, lol... but I thought the same about Hobi, like coming off of Lollapalooza, he had that extra confidence from carrying the stage on his own in Chicago.
You must listen to the entire Busan concert. It is a journey through his 10 years of experience with his album PROOF. Also learn more about them, from their beginnings, their trilogies, their BTS Universe, their weekly and annual programs on stations in Korea and the United States. There is so much you need to know about BTS so that you can value them in their proper dimension.
I love these videos sm 😭 Saya and Paroma have such contagious joy, and honestly, Richard and Jonny you guys do too! This entire concert was fantastic and I hope y’all watch the full thing even in your spare time. It’s the perfect thing after watching their debut showcase-the sheer difference in confidence and freedom and expression is beautiful. The gals picked the perfect 3-song opener for you! As usual, thanks for your deep dive into Bangtan world!! Also people have already touched on the controversy around the concert logistics and the burden on BTS. I’m so glad they enlisted (as much as it hurts, especially with the e-games team getting exempt) because no one can hold anything against them anymore. I’ll never forget all other kpop companies having a huge meeting about trying to get kpop idols exempt from military-EXCEPT they didn’t have Hybe or BigHit part of that meeting. When the gov listened and gave them a requirement to reach a cultural merit in order to have an extension, no other groups had those achievements except BTS. It was a big slap to the face to all those companies who tried to use BTS’ success for their gain without acknowledging, crediting or including BTS. It’s things like this that make ARMY so invested in their achievements over the industry. They’re really unstoppable!!
Jhope voice is very unique and not a mixture of other members. Jhope was featured in a song "animal" which released in 2011 and he was the first member to get a songwriter credit. Jhope is very talented and has his own identity from the very beginning!!
I visited Busan recently in Oct this year, and I did go to the stadium, but it was closed. I didn't get to enter and take a look at the stadium inside but I could see it from afar, it was a huge stadium.. I was 1 year late ... I could feel their presence there..and I cried my eyes out.😭😭😭😭... But I managed to watch Agust D in June this year when he came to my country... I was over the moon...had a blast.. I was so sad at the end of the concert when he just walked off the stage without turning back or wave good bye to us, the crying fans...my heart was torn to pieces...But it was A DOPEST concert that I ever attended in my entire life...I wish I had gone to Busan earlier last year..
Excellent choice! Any plans for your other December reactions? 👀 “Le Jazz de V” a jazz cover session by V would be perfect. It’s his birthday month too so more V reactions would be lovely 🥰
I didn't find them until 2021. I learned each member in one night it was a challenge but I got it. Then low and behold I know each member by their voices, I couldn't believe it.
Video blurred. No worries. I’m pretty sure most of it have the entire concert memorized by now. I know exactly what will happen just by listening to it. 😂
Thank you for your reactions! 🥰 This concert is one of the most memorable ones. I also watched it online. Watching this with you brings back the excitement I felt back then. You might also like to watch the vocal line performance during this concert. It was amazing. Rap line also nailed it and BTS overall have shown how it is to put on an absolutely one-of-a-kind performance. They have set the standards high. 💜💜💜
My request has been heard! Thank you for guesting Saya and Paroma again! I'm a baby Army of one year only. I've watched Yet to Come Busan Concert 2022 at the theater, my first to witness BTS in "concert". It's my second time to comment on your channel because I'd like you to know how I like you do reactions on this video. You did not only focused on the technical parts but also you were observed almost everything like who did the lyrics, the instrument (live bands), the stage, curious about each members, and the chant. Thankful that Saya and Paroma provided you an input that was on-point, well-detailed. Last night, Jungkook was live on Weverse. He had a mini concert for ARMYS, I wish you can watch it cuz he sang most of the songs in his Golden album. His voice was so good! It's raw, no enhancement, no auto-tune, just pure voice, it sounds like in a recorded studio. I hope you can react to it, you're gonna love it as a voice coach!
I love Saya and Paroma!! I love their enthusiasm and joy and willingness to share their extensive BTS knowledge! BTS is such an inclusive group - they bring so many people from so many walks of life together!
Thank you so much for reacting to this! I became an Army just recently after watching JHope's performance at Lollapalooza 2022. He is just such a rock star with an amazing stage presence and charisma. I hope you can react to that performance, he goes through his discography. It is just awesome! Through him, I got to know the other extremely talented members, and can't wait to see them back together!
watching this is an emotional roller coaster!!! i miss them : OT7! i missed the feeling while watching this concert live online despite the hiccups, all 4 of you were just fun and funny to watch. my cheeks hurt from smiling and i got teary eyed. 💜
Thank you for being genuinely interested to do this journey and allowing us to be part of it 💜 I understand you’re reacting to group songs now but this Christmas season, consider reacting to the two beautiful original “Christmas” songs by V “Christmas Tree” and “Snow Flower” Christmas Tree was just actually performed on TODAY’s show by a classical pianist, Chloe Flower.
Saya and Paroma are so cute. YTC in Busan is an amazing experience, I went and watched the liveplay at the port and it was still amazing. Fireworks after party in the theme park, my unaffiliated hotel played their MVs non stop at the lobby with bts decor, purple lighting everywhere, it was an experience.
My daughter and I went to Korea for this concert, without tickets to the intention to heard them outside the stadium, we got 1 ticket a few minutes before it starts and my daughter went in!! But it was amazing even outside with all the army’s that didn’t get a ticket too! Can’t wait for this reaction! Ahhh we were there for jimin’s birthday toooooo! 💜💜🇲🇽🇲🇽💜💜
Another wonderful video with very appreciated insights from Saya and Paroma! 🤍 Can I also say that I relate to Johnny whenever he sees Yoongi on the video and immediately blurts out "he's so cool" 😆 I get it. I really do.
If you’re looking for an early BTS song that isn’t a title track, I’d recommend Paldogangsan along with an explanation video. Really shows how revolutionary BTS was from the very beginning if you learn about the historical, political, and cultural references in their music. I read that there was a Korean literature professor that researched song lyrics of 100 years of Korean popular music. He said the 2 songs really stood out to him and that Paldogangsan was one of them. He said he was shocked when he realized that it was by an idol group and that they were so young when they wrote it.
This was such a great video! All four of you are just so entertaining to watch because each of you know bring your expertise to the table. I hope you guys can watch this whole concert with us. Thank you for also delaying the premiere for Yoongi Suchwita episode, that was very sweet and considerate of you. On that note, hope you guys can watch the Suchwita episodes that the members are on. Yoongi is a great interviewer and because the members feel comfortable with him they all do open up. I always look forward to your videos and can't wait for the next one! 💜💜💜
18:25 absolutely love these two. Now THAT'S a true OT7 pure ARMY detected. The way she stepped in to clarify about J-Hope just shows how equally we ARMYs love our 7 Kings ❤ Borahae 💜 & Happy Birthday to our World Wide Handsome Jin. When's ur birthday World Wide Handsome pt2 Johnny?😂
Happiest Birthday to our Worldwide Handsome, Intergalactic Astronaut Kim Seokjin! 😂🤩👏🕺🎶🎤👑🥇🎂🎈🎁💐🍾🥳🎉🌎 Always and Forever Army Love, Peace, Wellness and Continued Blessings to Jin! 🙋🏽🤗😍😘🌹💜💞✌️🙏🇺🇸 #HappyBirthdayKimSeokjin2023
Just adding a few things - - about songwriting - the rappers all write their own raps. In addition to that, RM is the primary lyricist for the group. I think he writes upwards of 80% of their Korean lyrics and has credits on more than 200 songs. They often get melodies and English parts from contributing songwriters, and then RM will work to write lyrics. For each album there’s a livestream where RM talks about all the songwriting. The other guys do all contribute at times but it is primarily RM. The rappers inspired the vocalists to start to think like songwriters. BTS has also talked about how their song creation process can be messy, they can all submit lyric and melody options based on beats and themes that are selected for an album and the best ones are selected. Example- Life Goes On from BE is the final version but Suga put his version on his D-Day album and it’s fantastic. It’s just very Suga and works perfectly for him but wasn’t selected for BE. - pronunciation of Jungkook - another romanization is Jeongguk which helps some people. The “oo” is not rhyming with cook, it’s an oooo like with your lips pursed (the 우 sound in Korean). Sorry just a pet peeve of mine haha. - fanchants - they are all song specific. The main name fanchant may be the same but where it fits into the song and how fast is song dependent on where 16 bars can fit for 2 repetitions of the chant. The title tracks also have fanchants for each song as a way for fans to participate in the songs without singing along to the whole thing. It’s just a kpop thing. Watching music show (music bank, Inkigayo, etc) performances really give you the gist of the fan chants
To give more context about "Run BTS". BTS released their anthology album "Proof" in June 2022, which only has three new songs - Yet to Come, For Youth, and Run BTS. The first two are pretty laid-back, so the upbeat Run BTS quickly became a fan favorite. But in their promotions for "Proof", they only performed the first two songs (I think Run BTS was banned from TV due to swear words). ARMY was desperate to see a performance of Run BTS (live or MV), but accepting that it was unlikely given they were on hiatus. Until the Busan concert. When we heard the opening notes of Run BTS, only the second song into the concert, we all freaked out. And when we got to the synchronized choreography in the chorus, I think we had a meltdown. It was so good, they were all going so hard. I remember my timeline was filled with clips of the choreo, particularly of V and Jimin. My favorite rapping in this song is Suga's, but my favorite lyrics is from J-hope: Jiminie, V, you’ve worked hard Namjoonie, Hope, you’ve worked hard Yoongi hyung, Jjin, you’ve worked hard Jungkookie, everyone, so thanks Get ready, get ready, get ready, get ready, get ready, more so going forward Go get it, go get it, go get it, go get it, go get it, let’s run, run Looking back, it's clear to me now that J-hope was telling his members to get ready for their solo journeys in Chapter 2 and he was cheering them on to make their marks. And make their marks, they did. Each of their solo releases has been phenomenal. Well done.
Yes! This verse melted my heart, particularly the “go get it” line. So simple, but it expresses SO much. Their unwavering support for each other has been obvious to me from day one and it’s one of their most endearing qualities as a group and as individuals. (And they clearly understood the assignment, because they have been KILLING IT on Chapter 2)
I think that from a vocal perspective you would really enjoy Zero O'Clock and Butterfly from this concert. (And then the rapline's section from this is amazing too with Cypher 3 and Ugh)
BTS FOREVER 💜
I would love it if you guys could react to BTS' Tiny Desk Concert which is available here on UA-cam as well. It's a live performance so definitely a must watch :)
I really appreciate this but I wish they watch the slower songs too like Butterfly, For Youth, Zero O'clock. Those songs are so beautiful and highlight their vocals as well. And not to mention the meaningful lyrics. Hope they do in the future.
Loved, loved, loved it !!! Having Saya and Panroma on, is wonderful Lov their enthusiasm and you both as well, going down memory lane with y’all is a perfect medicine when missing the pour boys. Do you plan on watching any of the Run episodes?
I'm currently 20 minutes in and while I feel the enjoyment it's a bit painful to watch. On the one hand I do understand, recognize and appreciate the excitement and willingness to share a lot of helpful and interesting information. On the other hand, I really doubt it benefits the first intake and impression of the song. Like after each 15-20 seconds of listening to the song there are 3-5 minutes packed with tonns of information regarding the smallest details. I could only speak from my own experience, so may be guys handle it better, but I personally would forget these seconds as my brains try to process additional information. And I think it might take away a lot from the song as instead of enjoying the flow, interesting music developments and feeling the energy (the substance of the WOW-effect) they get just small bits and pieces here and there that are hard to connect to one piece of music. I do like the idea of sharing experience together, I do appreciate additional information and I do find it beneficial and charming. But please keep in mind that before sharing opinions Richard and Johnny should first form their own one. So may be it would make sense to let them experience the music, share their opinion and flavour it with some interesting details? I hope it becomes better in the remaining 40 minutes, but if not - please consider for the future reactions. Saya and Paroma, you're very lovely, borahae from the bottom of my ARMY heart💜 I hope that you do not take it too personally, my only intention is to make the experience better for everyone and to see guys fall in love with the music. Thank you for sharing! 💜💜💜
great! I just watched it last friday, just recently became available in Prime video here in Japan. everyone was so amazing 💜. hope you had a great time WaTching their preformance too😊
This concert had a whole different feel for me after they announced they would enlist. They didn’t ask for exemption. They had already made the decision to serve. We just didn’t know it. They did this concert, and 24 hours later the release about enlistment was dropped. All of a sudden the concert had a whole different meaning. When they did Cypher Pt 3 and in the last chorus RM changed “but I don’t care” to “F you I don’t care” (with the rest of the line being “you can’t control my sh**”), it was clear this truly was their “chains off” moment. BTS decides what BTS will and will not do. Not anyone else. And the ladies were correct. There won’t be anything to hold over their heads after 2025. I’m old enough to be everyone’s mom, and I was as proud of them as I’ve been of my own kid. 💜💜💜💜
The live play concert was at Busan Port Passengers Terminal Parking Lot and also at Haeundae beach (not at the stadium complex). The audience for the 1st location needed to enter a raffle to win the ticket while the 2nd location was free for public. Hope it helps

Exactly
HYBE sending them photocards was a very gangster move. "BTS won't save you this time, get some photocards"
Oh wow! I did not know the very last part….but always felt like after years of putting them and Army through “will they or won’t they exempt” BTS said this ends now and decided we’re enlisting!
@Dani.Torres Agreed 100%. The gov't got peanuts.
Pure *chef's kiss*
💜
It was perfect in every way. A grand culmination of everything they put up with and everything they wanted to say. ✨
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS, YOU WROTE FACTS!!!!
RM's screaming "Fuck you, I don't care, you can't control my shit" was aimed at the government representants that attended.
God, I love BTS so much. Even classy when they give the finger to people. 🤣
So it's:
Kim Namjoon
Kim Seokjin
Min Yoongi
Jung Hoseok
Park Jimin
Kim Taehyung
Jeon Jung Kook
BTS
exactly
interesting
aww, that is a wonderful story. So glad u got to see this live. hugs.
When you’ve watched this concert so many times that you don’t really care when it’s blurred out…
I love what Saya was saying about Jin, he really did shine here! Also keep in mind that Jin was very sick with Epiglottis for a while before this concert and he still had trouble talking while getting ready before the concert, but luckily his voice started feeling fine right before having to come out on stage!!!!!💜🤯💜 The universe really does love our boys!!!🥰
Fun Fact, Mic Drop was inspired by Former President Obama’s speech where he dropped the mic at the end.
@@fay-mSOPEfan62Also thank you for saying happy birthday to Jin, I’m not feeling well today and I completely forgot today’s the 4th🫣😂
honestly i was so amazed with jin's vocals that day and then to find out all of that later... mind blowing for sure
Well ditto. I am a fan of metal and many genres. But their attitude reinforces their artistry, their lyrics. Love them. 💜💜💜
I love seeing a Seokjinist just gush about him in public. Love it!
I love this! It's so funny cos deep inside this cool individual is someone who's so wise that BTS themselves call him a grandpa. 💜
As another Jin bias, I appreciate Saya's unbridled joy whenever she talks about him, heh.
Another Jin bias here, I agree!
Me too❤
To explain about Korean to English romanization, when they were talking about Jungkook's name for example, the Korean language treats the letters "G" and "K" as making the same sound.
This is very thoughtful of you!💜
Thank you for respecting Yoongi's Suchwita. I have already finished watching the episode.
Great! That’s why we 💜 you!
That was so thoughtful! Thank you, now I can enjoy both premiers 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Oh cool, yes thanks I was watching Suchwita (drinking time with SUGA
The free concert shows how much love and sincerity they have for their fans💜
Yes, and I remember Jin talking about one of their dreams was to hold a free concert some day!!! So glad they were able to do that!💜
I watched my first taped BTS concert yesterday, and was surprised to see how... welcoming (?) They were.
Yeah, you are right. SUGA WILL JUST KILL YOU... AND YOU WILL BE DEAD.... No other way around..
Saw an ARMY post who got to watch YTC Busan live. Op said rapline was singing Cypher pt3 totally unhinged and politicians were in front-ish row😂
So yeah, I hope we can get a continuation of this Busan concert reaction💜
Oh Saya and Paroma are all of us hahaha... They know how we feel when we see the group live, including when they showed this in cinemas... Thank you so much for coming back ladies.... this was such a blast for Jin's birthday and it was just perfect ! Thank you also to Richard and Johnny - we love that you are so willing to learn about all the members and share our love and enthusiam.... Saya and Paroma need to be regulars when you guys do another BTS reaction from the Busan concert.... that would be epic 💜Borahae to all four of you 💜
Saya and Paroma, I love you. You guys need to be regulars in this Throga channel.💜💜💜💜💜
A special shoutout to Saya who embodies a true OT7 ARMY ☺️ and clarified about j-hope’s journey.
If your going to react to Spring Day, please be it a live version so that j-hope will have his lines there cuz he didn’t have any main lines at the original music video
Thank you!
Saya is everything!! We love her!
How special! I got to watch it with my sister. ♥
I love how passionate these army guests are when talking about them. I just saw myself in them😅
This makes me SO HAPPY!!! 😃 I absolutely LOVE watching you guy’s reaction to BTS! I smile from beginning to end every time…Throga (Thronly Fans 😂) is hands down one of the best channels I have ever subscribed to 💜🫶🏼🫰🏼
Thank you so much for the kind words!!
100% - this is now my go to channel for reactions to watch, esp BTS :)
Yes I thought they would typically put the Producers first, but I wasn’t 100%. Thank you for your comment.
The Busan concert is absolutely memorable for a multitude of reasons - many of which have been discussed here. But one that you can definitely feel is how UNHINGED it was 🔥
In the best way.
Also special appreciation for Jin how he slayed so hard with his throat condition
Please check out the Rapline and Vocal line stages too they're amazing specially zero'o clock
Borahae 💜🥺
I love your reactions!!! So happy you brought them back! They were so knowledgeable and full of positive vibes!!! 💜❤
Thanks for your BTS reactions! I recently watched this concert on Amazon Prime and the production quality and sound mixing was stellar. This was an epic concert and they gave it their all! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I'm having to watch in small segments, otherwise I get the Vapors 🫠❤️🔥
Fan chants are different for different songs and not all songs have fan chants. The label releases the chants before the comeback showcase, so most songs that have chants are the title songs. So when they go to the shows for the showcase, the fans already know the chants.
You got them back! Can't wait to watch this. ✌💜
Just subbed!! Not just because you guys are SUGA biased lol 😂
There's a lot of BTS reactors here who are in the music field, but I love how you guys explain and convey the intricacies of BTS' music... to say the least, I am nerding out and learning a lot! 💜
I'm sure it's already been mentioned, but I share Saya's high praises for Jin in this concert... apart from this being his most badass moment, he was having trouble with his throat for days to the point that he wasn't sure he could sing at all... but as always, BTS never disappoints!
You need to see UGH! from this concert 😊 I love it 🤩
Agree! It is incredible!
The best concert ever!
Watch the full - this is the masterpiece
Yeah, post-Lollapalooza Hobi is on another level!
Oh wow that's interesting!
What a treat! I just came back from my trip to Seoul, and now I can rewatch the Busan Concert with you guys. My army heart is so full! 🥰💜
Can't wait!!
Excellent choice! Any plans for your other December reactions? 👀 “Le Jazz de V” a jazz cover session by V would be perfect. It’s his birthday month too so more V reactions would be lovely 🥰
This was a BLAST! Thank you Thorga and our two ARMY ambassadors.
Such a lovely reaction. Thank you all for taking the time to share this.
i love the evolution of run throughout the years and it's still my favorite song.
need this version on spotify
I didn't find them until 2021. I learned each member in one night it was a challenge but I got it. Then low and behold I know each member by their voices, I couldn't believe it.
💜💜💜💜
Video blurred. No worries. I’m pretty sure most of it have the entire concert memorized by now. I know exactly what will happen just by listening to it. 😂
Go girls! Army power so we can have moreBTS reactions! 💜💜🇲🇽🇲🇽💜💜
This was awesome. Their enthusiasm is contagious. Keep 'em coming!
So glad you brought Saya and Paroma back! They are great guests and do ARMY very proud!
I love the excitement!!!! ARMY is SO happy to talk about BTS endlessly!! 🤣🤣
watching this is an emotional roller coaster!!! i miss them : OT7! i missed the feeling while watching this concert live online despite the hiccups, all 4 of you were just fun and funny to watch. my cheeks hurt from smiling and i got teary eyed. 💜
Thank you for being genuinely interested to do this journey and allowing us to be part of it 💜 I understand you’re reacting to group songs now but this Christmas season, consider reacting to the two beautiful original “Christmas” songs by V “Christmas Tree” and “Snow Flower”
Christmas Tree was just actually performed on TODAY’s show by a classical pianist, Chloe Flower.
Thank you to all four of you - this was such a fabulous session
Can I also say that I relate to Johnny whenever he sees Yoongi on the video and immediately blurts out "he's so cool" 😆 I get it. I really do.
This concert was amazing !!!! They were all amazing!!!
Just adding a few things -
- about songwriting - the rappers all write their own raps.
JHONNY!! I have a feeling you'll LOVE the 3rd song,'RUN', the studio version. Please do check it out again. It's definitely my all-time favorite.
My favorite rapping in this song is Suga's, but my favorite lyrics is from J-hope:
Jiminie, V, you’ve worked hard
Namjoonie, Hope, you’ve worked hard
Yoongi hyung, Jjin, you’ve worked hard
Jungkookie, everyone, so thanks
Get ready, get ready, get ready, get ready, get ready, more so going forward
Go get it, go get it, go get it, go get it, go get it, let’s run, run
Looking back, it's clear to me now that J-hope was telling his members to get ready for their solo journeys in Chapter 2 and he was cheering them on to make their marks.
What an absolute joy this is to watch!!! I’m so glad I found you guys ❤❤❤
It was entertaining to watch all of you guys, no matter how long or blurred the video was !
I had a BLAST watching this , thank you 😂❤
Loved, loved, loved it !!! Having Saya and Panroma on, is wonderful Lov their enthusiasm and you both as well, going down memory lane with y’all is a perfect medicine when missing the pour boys. Do you plan on watching any of the Run episodes?
I really like how Saya explained the politics behind BTS’ enlistment.
Love your Special Guests!
You should take your time and watch some of their games they play , what a riot
This was a great reaction!!! I LOVED IT~ So much information! It was such a feel Good!
Dude this is so cool
This was such fun!!!! I loved it …
The live play concert was at Busan Port Passengers Terminal Parking Lot and also at Haeundae beach (not at the stadium complex). The audience for the 1st location needed to enter a raffle to win the ticket while the 2nd location was free for public. Hope it helps
I love those ladies! If anyone is worth giving extra time to, it's them!
I've learned so much!
