Sony CFS-9000 Part 3 - Cassette Transport Service, Finding and Creating New Problems

I have a new auto reverse gear for this machine, so let's see if we can change it. The cassette transport has never worked while I've had this unit, so I'm sure if there are other problems we'll find them. If we don't break something first...

Most complicated unit Sony ever made. I used to fix 100's of CFS 9000 back in the 90's. My most favorite. No other technician will be willing to repair.

I believe it. Wish I could find a head gear that holds up to get the auto reverse going again.
