Hey! Nice video. I'm still on the fence about what to focus my personal website on. I have my "main career" in Healthcare (commercial area), I also have a small ecommerce, I also freelance (Excel sheets), and I also have lots of interests haha should I just pick one niche, or can I divide it into different "sections"?
Hard to say - it depends on how you want to market yourself. Different sections might make sense to me
currently preparing for my website launch. picked a date, bought a domain name… oh man!

Those are good points and I do have my own website hosted on my NAS server. But I'm still trying to figure out what/which direction exactly I am heading at. I mean I could put up things about myself like intros, blogs, and my hobbies, amongst other things. But I need it to be something more substantial.
By the way, while the idea of using CMS like Wordpress, Wix or Fourspace is the current trend to create websites I think I'd like to code my website from scratch. For one thing, it gives me the full control on what I put up on there. Not to mention, it gives the opportunity to learn more on new coding techniques since I was a former web developer; just that I had not done website in like ages. So this is a great chance for me to refresh my skills.
So after 1 year have you create your website?

I don't have a business website but I sell on Etsy. Should I have a personal website telling people what I sell and where and maybe open a website for selling at a later date, or should I integrate them together. Thank you
HI. Perhaps you can focus on teaching others about your journey selling on Etsy. Or another option you might consider opening an Ecommerce site integrated with Etsy.? You'll have to find a way to market

You could choose - do you want it to be professionally focused, or more personal? Or you could do both

I have been thinking the same thing for years. Why is it not "normal" to have your own website? Every facebook, instagram, tiktok etc profile are the same but making your very own webpage, it will be unique. "Hello World" for real.
