Ohh Rain is the Mare that is with Spirit in his herd. Hmm, that makes me wonder if you can make a household of just a herd of horses, since Spirit is basically a wild horse, also I wonder if bareback riding will be a thing since Spirit doesn't like a saddle on him.
this expansion would be perfect for building something like a barn themed restaurant but I'm really excited for your LP and the builds you do with this expansion!
With the nectar making, I can turn Windenburg's Crumbling Isle into an Italian countryside with vineyards. Or maybe Tartosa instead. I wonder if the piano is a player piano. They aren't BABY sheep and goats. They are miniature sheep and fainting goats which are small. They don't have cows because they turned them into furniture. 🤣 I think you can make a nectar that brings sims back to life.
My vote is Sandlewood! It would make sense since his mom (parents) is a "wolf" he would want to live a life with animals (and also his great uncle having such a huge farm, its in his blood!) (Not to mention Native Americans have a history with _both_ horses and the wolves)
When i saw the thumbnail i was sure the hat was just Photoshoped on. 😂 James never ceases to make me smile-and occasionally yell at my tv. Glad the foul/foal conversation has already taken place here.
Personally I really couldn't care less about horses but I'm pumped for the world, CAS and B&B and of course goats, sheep and nectar making. Strangerville would be my favorite world if if wasn't so heavily leaning into the whole military thing so a kinda Arizona/Nevada inspired world is going to be lit. Can't wait for the pack but I doubt I'll actually play much with the horses lol.
Yes, this. Everything about this pack is exciting, except the horses. But I know loads of players wanted horses, so it's great they're getting them finally. I'll be re-living the nectar-making days of the Sims 3. So happy.
Super excited for ceilings! Also please have sandalwood be the rags to riches sim, or at least have him on the ranch, won't even be mad if you unwerewolf him (but would love him to stay too)
Another notable Easter egg is the painted horse statue. Nearly 15 years or more ago in United States there was the painted pony project where they did the painted horse statues all over the states and they were absolutely beautiful works of art for a cultural art thing. Many of these statues went up for sell after the project was complete for charity donations and even high grade plastic models were made available for purchase of all the different models and designs for literally every city, state, or culture these horses were designed to represent.
This will intergrade with cottage living very well and I’m sure Kayla is fangirling hard with horses since she has been talking about horse sims for a while
Yes will integrate well because it's the leftover bits of cottage living. Half of these items/ideas were probably reused to try and get more cash from simmers.
@@HF-tj8db they're not the same at all. not surprising that people who know nothing about the equestrian world seem to think cottages = horses though. completely different lifestyle types, my guy. horses don't fit with the cottage/cottagecore theme at all.
@@MonAhgasInsomniAroELF I'm always seeing horses in English fields, close to cottages and farms. To me, from my background, I would equate horses with many of the themes from the cottage living pack. My mum has horses in the field behind her house, which is a cottage. My friend keeps her horse in a stable next to a landscape straight out of the cottage living pack. Remember that different countries with different landscapes and cultures may do things differently.
I can't stop obsessing over the goats. They're so cute and sassy. I'm trying to stay cautiously optimistic about this pack but the trailer did it's job and I'm excited.
I am so excited!!! I grew up on a farm and we always had: horses, goats, sometimes cows and sheep and chickens. I love the line dancing and the barrel racing and horse jumping. Love how horses can be half broke horses to tame. Can't wait to recreate all the rescue horses I had growing up, especially ,Lucky, my first non mini pony horse
We gotta keep the big family goin! So many things to do with the new expansion they could each have their own goal and they'll take over the town. A Bigwallet Winery for Lady lll cuz she's fancy, A Bigwallet Ranch for Krista and Ash to run (mostly Krista tho let's be real), A Bigwallet Saloon for Aspen and Alder, A Bigwallet Petting Zoo for the triplets (Cherry, Maple and Oak), A Bigwallet Vet Clinic for Willow (hopefully they add the horses being able to be seen/treated).
my next heir in my legacy family has the Animal Enthusiast trait, I hope, fingers crossed, that it will affect these new animals in Horse Ranch. I'm really excited, actually. And it's a perfect setup for the next game pack to be faries and unicorns, too!
I'm definitely a horse girl, so I'm so excited for this pack. lol I feel like we need a western LP, where James becomes a tyrant small town sheriff, but I dunno.
Hopefully the painted ceilings are 1. Not just for the trailer/“not actual gameplay.” And 2. Included in a free update and not just pack specific so everyone can have it.
I think the limits of a game created 9 years ago is what made them make the horses parts of the family. If they weren't, i think it would have gone in the direction of llamas. Which would have been the cause of a riot i think. Either way, its gonna be a disappointment for some, but im glad they keep adding things like the ceilings with each expansion. Also, temindong people that the initial trailer will not be a rep of the real gameplay. They always use some movie magic to sell the trailer.
The children playing with the kids is adorable. I hope you can make yarn or embroidery floss from the sheep. I wonder if you'll be able to ride the horses in other neighborhoods.
I saw a new BBQ Grill, Mini Barrel on the counter( Wonder if it interactive, probably just Deco), Brooms, a new Watch When Girl is Bottle Feeding Horse, Windmill when the show the different horses, Cow Plant Scull. Water Tower, and a new Colum (seen inside when ghost comes back to life.
I’m actually pretty impressed by the horse animation and customisation! That’s pretty amazing if you ask me haha! Horse animation is pretty hard to get right! I’m excited for a rags to riches in this pack! Shame I don’t have anything to play it on hahaha
As someone from the southern US this feels like the only culture we have and I'm excited. The rodeo was just in town last month and this was released at the perfect time.
As you've already increased the maximum household members, reducing it back to 8 will delete a lot of sims in other houses. Also I noticed that ghost sim was being brought back to life. Special nectar?
If there are sims he cares about, he could just check in manage worlds first, make sure they aren’t in a household over 8, and split the household if they are to protect the ones he cares about, like the extended family or kids friends.
This is gonna be sooo big for historical simmers, I've seen a lot of people complain they didn't see much in the trailer but ??? Did we watch the same trailer??? There so much to do! So much furniture, THE RANCH HAND OMG I NEED
the nectar made the ghost come back to life , you can see the man pouring the nectar and then him cheering on her coming back to life, also the nectar did glow so that confirms it
Ranch to Riches! So excited for a new series 🐎 Fun fact: The Appaloosa Horse, known for its spotted coat, was developed by the Native Americans near my hometown! I'm literally from Appaloosa Plains, aka the Palouse Prairie
This is so similar looking to TS3's horses and nectar-making! \o/ Also around 2:19 the living human pours some nectar, and then in the next frame the ghost is coming back to life! I think there's a new way to bring ghosts back to life using a special nectar. (I've wanted nectar-making for so long! There's even already a vineyard in Tartosa!) And yes, horses count as part of the family/they are a controlled member of the family, just like in TS3. (personally, I can't wait to re-make Westworld characters!)
My main sims family would absolutely do this. Every time I've purchased a new pack I make the family do everything it has to offer like a sit-com episode. I've kinda characterised the patriarch of the family as the kinda guy to immediately obsess over any new thing he sees. (Kinda because its what I do) for example he will one day be obsessed with being a celebrity actor then the next day he'll make his family move out of del sol valley and into Strangerville to join the army and solve the mystery. Then once that's done he'll purchase a run down cottage in Henford to become a farmer. Then a week later he'll pick up a paranormal investigation hobby after discovering that the house is haunted. Then he'll suddenly suggest that the entire family goes on holiday to Battu were he'll join the first order but his wife and son will join the resistance while his step daughter will become a pirate. Then once that gets boring they go home so his two eldest children can go to university. Once that is done the family is reunited only to find that the patriarch is now a wannabe Indian jones and drags his family to selvadorada to explore the temples. And so on and so on. This family has a really long story that I have done since 2018 and only now am I really trying to figure out a overall story I want to tell (myself😢)

I didn’t expect anything less😂👍🏻
No gonna lie. I'm ready to make Spirit and Rain when this pack comes out!! 🐎 😊
I was thinking the exact same thing
Yassss
Who's Rain? I don't remember anyone named Rain in the Spirit Netflix series. Is Rain one of the other girls'horses?
Ohh Rain is the Mare that is with Spirit in his herd. Hmm, that makes me wonder if you can make a household of just a herd of horses, since Spirit is basically a wild horse, also I wonder if bareback riding will be a thing since Spirit doesn't like a saddle on him.
this expansion would be perfect for building something like a barn themed restaurant but I'm really excited for your LP and the builds you do with this expansion!
Oh my gosh, The Burger Boys should have a cameo in the Bigwallet Rags to Riches LP!!!
It would make sense since his mom (parents) is a "wolf" he would want to live a life with animals (and also his great uncle having such a huge farm, its in his blood!)
(Not to mention Native Americans have a history with _both_ horses and the wolves)
Isn't he a Werewolf too? He'd better take the cure or He'd terrorize the horses!
@@clarebo dogs/wolves and horses naturally go hand in hand.
Native American culture is also very integrated with wolves
So great point!
Exactly!!!!!!!! 😊
As a Texan, I appreciate your choice of outfit and the howdy y'all in the intro. Loving this for you, James! Yeeehaw!
I mean the bushlands of Oz are pretty much the Wild West. Lol
I can’t wait to see what nonsense items Semaj is going to throw in the nectar maker 😅
A fainting goat? Be still my heart! Soooo excited for your rags to riches lets play!
Fun fact: fainting goats are adorable, they go all stiff-legged & fall over, it's hilarious.
Also, the line dancing looks so fun.
I thought I spotted some fainting happening. I'm so excited for the goats.
I had to pause the trailer & rewatch it to make sure I wasn't imagining it! I LOVE fainting goats!! lol
You're right, purposely breeding animals with a serious congenital defect that causes them stress is hilarious.
American Southerner, here. You still look a bit like a city slicker, but I appreciate the effort you put into the bit, James. Truly. 😂
When i saw the thumbnail i was sure the hat was just Photoshoped on. 😂 James never ceases to make me smile-and occasionally yell at my tv. Glad the foul/foal conversation has already taken place here.
Can't wait for Carl's fixes. Hope they're ready in a month.
My thoughts too!
Yes, this. Everything about this pack is exciting, except the horses. But I know loads of players wanted horses, so it's great they're getting them finally. I'll be re-living the nectar-making days of the Sims 3. So happy.
@@christinamoxon THIS!!! fizzing was not IT for me. Nectar making....YES!!!!
Super excited for ceilings! Also please have sandalwood be the rags to riches sim, or at least have him on the ranch, won't even be mad if you unwerewolf him (but would love him to stay too)
honestly james is rocking the cowboy look it suits him somehow 😂
James Eastwood in A Fistful of Simoleans -- The Bigwallets Go West.
You don't have to buy it then
@@HF-tj8db they're not the same at all. not surprising that people who know nothing about the equestrian world seem to think cottages = horses though. completely different lifestyle types, my guy. horses don't fit with the cottage/cottagecore theme at all.
@@HF-tj8db i was thinking of other countries, as i'm not from the u.s.
I Hope the Native American stuff is nice and customizable. I’m native Canadian and gotta say we’re colourful folks.
Crazy how well the outfit fits James 😳
It really does!
Yeah, those are good colours for him!
I can't stop obsessing over the goats. They're so cute and sassy. I'm trying to stay cautiously optimistic about this pack but the trailer did it's job and I'm excited.
The new grill looks so cool and also that unicorn infant outfit 🥹
I am VERY excited about the windmill in the background. Yes, that's what I took from the trailer.
I can't help but wonder about cross pack compatibility 🤔 I SO wish that the Vets can care for horses?
Yes and how kitties and doggos interact with horsies! 😍
Dude, imagine Krista starring in this pack's let's play... It is going to be AWESOME
UH!!! That would be AMAZING!!! she's the perfect horse girl with the red hair!!!!
yes!!!
New drink to bring back to life. He gave her the nectar. Maybe there another way to bring someone back from the grave with nectar skills. That’s cool!
Most excited for the ceilings and rags to riches!
I feel the hat tip is less “M’lady” and more “Howdy, ma’am!” 🤠
Edit : CEILINGS!
😂❤
my next heir in my legacy family has the Animal Enthusiast trait, I hope, fingers crossed, that it will affect these new animals in Horse Ranch. I'm really excited, actually. And it's a perfect setup for the next game pack to be faries and unicorns, too!
I have never clicked so fast. Epic outfit James 😂😂
Perfect pack for Burger Boys 👀👀
Next up: Meatball Men 😅
My thoughts exactly 😉🙏
I'm definitely a horse girl, so I'm so excited for this pack. lol I feel like we need a western LP, where James becomes a tyrant small town sheriff, but I dunno.
I feel like I’m the only one that saw the infant in the rainbow onesie and gasped 🤣🤣
Loving the getup James 😂
I saw a new BBQ Grill, Mini Barrel on the counter( Wonder if it interactive, probably just Deco), Brooms, a new Watch When Girl is Bottle Feeding Horse, Windmill when the show the different horses, Cow Plant Scull. Water Tower, and a new Colum (seen inside when ghost comes back to life.
i have a feeling james helped build for this pack. his reaction is too low😂😭
I've never been so excited for a pack ever, and it's not even for the horses, goats and sheeps are my special interest I'M LIKE AAAAAAAA
Special nectar?
yes it was the blue nectar that looked like some sort of wine that brought the sim back to life!
The nectar he gave her brought her back to life. A lot of simmers keep missing that.
James pronoucing "Foal" is my favorite part :P
I don’t know why, we don’t say it like that in Australia 😂😂
the nectar made the ghost come back to life ,
you can see the man pouring the nectar and then him cheering on her coming back to life, also the nectar did glow so that confirms it
I think Lady III and Willow should go off to start a Ranch.
It looks like that was a special Nectar that can resurrect Sims like Ambrosia can!
Every time we get a new pack I’m so excited to see what James does with it in Rags to Riches 💚
This pack is going to be so fun with cottage living & those animals! Gonna make a big petting zoo with cows, llamas, horses, goats, lambs & chickens!
When did you get up to do this? Really appreciate the effort that you always put in your Videos… ❤
Ranch to Riches! So excited for a new series 🐎 Fun fact: The Appaloosa Horse, known for its spotted coat, was developed by the Native Americans near my hometown! I'm literally from Appaloosa Plains, aka the Palouse Prairie
Now we just need to know which one of Quinn and Koji’s kids is going to be the star of the next LP 😂
Or perhaps Rye's?
@@clarebo Lady Bigwallet the Third does sound like someone who would breed horses.
Sandlewood! We can't forget Sandlewood!
@@clarebo bourbon and rye
I want Krista involved
This is so similar looking to TS3's horses and nectar-making! \o/ Also around 2:19 the living human pours some nectar, and then in the next frame the ghost is coming back to life! I think there's a new way to bring ghosts back to life using a special nectar. (I've wanted nectar-making for so long! There's even already a vineyard in Tartosa!) And yes, horses count as part of the family/they are a controlled member of the family, just like in TS3. (personally, I can't wait to re-make Westworld characters!)
Hope Chaz and co. Make an appearance in the ranch to riches!
Chaz has sadly passed away :(
@@merelvdmeer123 when did that happen?!?
@@LauraBaptista sometime before the bigwallet reunion I believe!
Get ready for the my first ranch stuff pack
