i'm originally from Texas and i lived in the northern part of Texas with several Ranches around and those horse and cattle ranchers never said "how're you" they always said "Howdy young man. How would you like to learn how to ride a horse?"

... I have definitely hid wine in a bush before and returned for it later. 🤣I think we'd been having some drinks at a friend's house, had planned to leave the "nectar" at someone else's home, but ended up locked out, and wanted to go do stuff without a bunch of bottles on us? I'm not sure, the details are fuzzy now for some mysterious reason.

James cares about the horses ability to consent too
It's IRL accurate that Flame had a red wrap on her tail. In the horse world, red cloth (usually ribbon) on the top of the tail is a message saying "look out, this horse kicks!" just to give other equestrians a warning to not walk behind them. Very fitting for an aggressive trait.
Lady Bigwallet definitely seems like she'll be into fancy nectar, writing guidebooks on nectar, and having fancy parties where she serves the nectar 😂

Also (spoiler), since Lady's horse is aggressive and fearful, keep the red band around the tail - or at least something red on the tail. That's a sign among riders for a horse prone to kicking if you get to close to their rear!

@@rosameryrojas-delcerro1059 Red's what you see most - all the way up among elites. But some use a yellow marker to signify caution around a territorial stallion. White was usually used to mark a horse for sale. Green marked an easy horse that never caused trouble
Thanks. I am actually afraid of horses, so I have no clue. I just thought that it was to make cleaning and brushing thier posterior easy because the manure wouldn't stick in thier tail as much.@@LadyxGreyWolf
@@rosameryrojas-delcerro1059 The kind of red ribbon on Lady's horse is used during transportation, to keep the tail clean before a competition, for example. Markers are tied in bows and are much smaller - but there isn't anything like that in game, so anything red will have to do 😅

Prairie grass is giving me dust bunny vibes, I'm seeing everyone finding so many valuable things in there 😂 at this point, you don't even need the nectar maker, just age what you found.
Meanwhile my whole lot is covered in it and all I'm finding is horse crap and 25 dollar rocks 😭
I made bunches of nectar and aged it, it's worth thousands now. Kind of defeats the whole rags to riches thing. 🤣 eta: I just made 59k simoleons on it

The only bad thing about this video was the fact it was only 30 minutes long. Loved this!!
Fun fact about horses: if they have a red ribbon/stocking like Flame has on their tail, then that means that they have big temper or are easily agitated. Red meaning a “red flag” for other riders if out on the trail with this horse.

In my experience so far, it's really rough having a rescued horse. My horse has the same traits. Things get a little better as your relationship and skills progress but I still feel it's incredibly hard to overcome with those three traits. I made milestones for myself to reach and then removed one of the bad traits and replaced it with a good one.
So excited for a new rags to riches - Lady Bigwallet III has already stolen my heart! It’s a far way off but I’m already excited for the giant vineyard you’ll eventually build! Also the moustache bit at the beginning had me absolutely dying - would love to hear deli’s thoughts on the whole thing 😂

As a horse girl this is giving me so much, I love the fact as Flame is aggressive she’s got a red tail bandage which normally if a horse kicks or is aggressive people put a red ribbon in the tail!
I like the idea of starting off on a small lot and working towards the 64 x 64 lot. It reminds me of how (with Cottage Living) Chaz started off in an alleyway and ended up with a giant farm! I’m looking forward to seeing how things play out for Lady!
james's videos are the only sims thing i can stand to watch. idk if it's his humour or that he doesn't try to push storytelling, but i look forward to every single one.

As soon as the ranch update was released I was really excited for a ranch rags to riches, and here we are!! I love the idea of having that many animals to take care of, it’ll be a lot of work but will be fun to watch you struggle… I mean take care of them all. Can’t wait for the next episode!

Horses are expensive if you don’t have the space to keep them on your property (stable costs). Also vet bills fron regular checkups and fling teeth for example are a lot higher than for other “pets”. Horse equipment and up-keeping it is also expensive and if you don’t know how to train them yourself, you’ll also have to pay for that (and optionally someone to take care of your horse if you can’t visit it every day multiple times a day). There’s just a lot of things that add up
I think this is the third time I've watched this series. Not only because I love horses, but something about this Bigwallet series jut has me in stitches xD Love the dedication to each start of with the green screen and moustache/ hat.
I've been sick since Thursday and the weekend couldn't have been more boring... but James comes to the rescue. Thanks and looking forward to the new series🙏🏻

Im very excited for this let’s play. I just wanted to say when im low on money in the sims I put the food in the household inventory. For example cakes, whenever it’s my sims birthday I take the cake out of the household inventory,put birthday candles, make the sims blow it out, and as soon as the sim blows it out I put it back inside the household inventory.
I’ve never been so excited for a video. Got so excited until I seen this wasn’t the video 😂

Growing together is the only lets play I skipped as I don't really enjoy family lets plays, but Cottage living (and Dine out) and earning cash was my favourite series and now I'm so excited to be back watching this rags to riches! I grew up on a horse ranch, and there are some stuff I'm really enjoying seeing in this pack, and others I'm disappointed aren't included. I have yet to see anyone brush their horse? Which is very important for horse care, it can really hurt a horse if you don't brush them before and after riding. Also, it would help build relationship, which is a mechanic that already exists with dogs and cats.
You can brush your horses in this game :)

My sim found a vitality (I think) nectar worth £17000 so I'm thinking they may currently be just a touch OP!
