But no one is pointing out one thing here which I feel maybe wrong -so just clarifying ... why is the OD Balance as per PB shown on the Right side i.e. on the negative (-) side and not on the positive (+) side? Whereas in your earlier vdo you also took the OD balance as per CB on the negative side?? Both for CB and PB OD balance you are taking the balance on the right (negative) column!! I think for OD as per PB it should be on the left(positive) side and vice versa?? IS IT NOT WRONG??

Sir this is not bal as per cash book. It was given their that the balance is as per pass book sir so according to this if i have issued cheque but it was not presented by the person then i have to minus it from my pass book but you have added it. Why?

But sir.. i am very much confused as my exam is on 10th Nov.. there are some rules defined in the book that if u hav balance as per passbook or unfavorable balance as per pass book given.. u hav to add all those transactions which led to the increase in the CASHBOOK balance and deduct all those txns which led to the decrease in CASHBOOK balance... only difference is in case of unfavourable balance u hav to write it in the minus col.. Please make me understand this..what u r doing is opposite... It vl be ur mosttt kindness pls help me

If you start with OD as per Passbook as positive figure And the last answer is negative Then it means it is opposite to overdraft thus favourable balance as per cash book.
Balance as per PB Over draft Sir bank paid insurance as per standing order 1500 so PB is less CB is more so we will adjust CB We will record it on negative side but in TS GREWAL it is recorded in positive side how it is possible Please reply in comment section
There are generally two methods to prepare BRS. 1. By preparing two + and - columns which you commonly see in all cbse based books. 2. Single column which you can see in CA foundation and that’s the one I have used. Both will give you the same answer and you can use the second method even if you are a cbse student.
