@@Kurtperry41 yeah sure! I have been playing the score for 20 years. The Doll Song is written in Eb,. The final Eb is not written in the score. Some super high sopranos adds extra high notes (G/G#) but the traditional final interpolated high note is a Eflat. Everything is in the score. Have a lovely musical weekend.
She was generous to sing so many extreme high notes
Such high head voice is controllable with crescendo & vibratos.
Natalie is amazing
9:26 in case you're wondering is from her Quartet recording of Voglio Tempo by Handel
10:11 lol
She could also knock off extremely high notes while doing complicated staging. She was the consummate performer.
Las sopranos francesas han sido celebres por ser conocidas como de extrema agudeza: Mado Robin, Lily Pons, Natalie Dessay…..
Natalie is never off pitch. She is a musical miracle.

Grandissima, sempre una diva!
She is the best. I LOVE NATALIE DESSAY! Btw I think it’s Ab6 either G#6 for the last two notes!
Agreed
I'm not singing G#6.
@@melmario6145 okay
@@sodamlee1642 I can do an Eb6 in head voice with falsetto all the way down until I'm singing G#5 in head voice in Olympia Doll Song.
@@melmario6145 okay
The last A6 are much more G6sharp than A6, which is already extremely impressive XD
Amazing!
Great soprano.
I am a great soprano.
15:22-15:53 Impressive
Cannot find anymore the performance of the very last clip from this video (bell song performance) where Natalie hit twice g# :(

I can sing E6 in Bell Song.
10:11, 7:44
Where was the recording taken from at 1:27 please
The last high note in The Voices of Spring is F not F#. Same for the Queen of the Night
I am not singing F6 in head voice. I not singing F#6 in head voice.
@@melmario6145 no
Esos agudos enamoran 😍 xd
The extra high note in Mignon is an F not F#. For Blondchen the written high-note is a E not F. I believe the extra high note in Alcina is E not F.
I don't have an F6. I don't have an F#6. I have the highest note (E6 in head voice).
The Alcina was performed at handel pitch A=415. so the pitch was an E but in the music it was an F....
Why are there so many Eb?
Simple, I emphasizes her repertory in her last prime.
it's the most common sovracuto written or otherwise expected from a Soprano.
I have an Eb6 in head voice.
@@edraith I am a soprano.
@@melmario6145 you are not
10:13 That sounds like F6 in mixed voice. That's not opera singing. That's screaming.
8:49. It's actually an F#6.
so the high notes at the end of sempre libera, and the end of Spargi damaro pianto are the same? I thought Lucia was higher.
Nope. ... They're both Eb 's......Lily Pons sang the mad scene up a whole tone of F however!
I sing high notes in head voice.

"Durch Zärtlichkeit und Schmeicheln" from Mozart's opera "Die Entführung aus dem Serail"

6:05-6:08 That's not opera singing. E6 in chest voice doesn't count opera. That sounds like E6 in chest voice.
