Join me as I visit Kennington Lane Cafe in London Vauxhall - in my Top 5 breakfast places. You cant beat quality food and great hospitality.

Amazing place
Great to see you enjoy something I experienced almost every day from 2005 approx to 2013. Many times I've helped Halil get the furniture outside. The Special was my meal and I loved EVERY SINGLE ONE, without exception. Halil even still recognises me. It was a treat to see you back there, those sausages are fresh meat, not frozen, Bloomer bread. I used to have toms instead of beans. Ooh it was lovely to see, thanks :)
What made you stop eating them so often?
That fry up most definitely looks off the charts.

That bubble looked fantastic it all looked good but the bubble stood out for me
This is another quality establishment that's going on my list. That looked a thoroughly decent breakfast. I have not been to Vauxhall since I was a lad at School.

Quality sausages, decent bean barrier, double egg on FS, double bubble, bread and toast! Not convinced by beans into egg then bread dipper.
Each breakfast should be an adventure. I’ve past there 1000s of time, will call in.

Did 2 breakfasts there earlier this month, off the charts. Kept me going all day. Old school cafe style milky coffee with a sprinkle of coffee on the top. This has to be one of the highest rated cafes on Google in London. Huge menu.

Next time you and The Macmaster are together you should try the Full English at the Hawksmoor Steak Restaurant. Looks bloody expensive and strange, but I would love to see Lee face.

That food looked absolutely beautiful. The eggs in particular - I’ve had so many dodgy cooked fried eggs in different establishments down through the years I actually gave up eating them. Those eggs looked stunning.
The key to eggs is ...buy the most expensive ones you can get your hands on ...or get 5 really healthy chickens
apart from the Green Bits that breakfast is defo off the charts - Looks amazing and must taste amazing - Your Ducati is so out of this world!!! Truly an amazing buy - What was the price including insurance please?
The juxtaposition of old and new build in London is off the charts. I was watching Lees vlogs in NYC and the more modern buildings are big, scale wise, but they are essentially big lumps of concrete that are not aesthetically pleasing to look at. Whereas in London the new buildings are amazing to look at and the design of them and how they fit in with the older ones is just fantastic.

Darren can I say a big thank you for this one , not for the food review but for a trip down memory lane , last time I was in Vauxhall was 1982 and I was 18 yrs old . Remember going to a late night pub called The Elephant & Castle which was only open late because they had a transvestite cabaret on , next day split my head open on cheap snakebites from the student union bar where my mate was studying . Happy days , that breakfast did look good though .

Very similar to the Oval Cafe & Snack Bar on Kennington Park Road (very close by), which is why I had to check if I'd been to the same one you visited. Both offer great food, at great prices.

That breakfast looked very tasty. I think a Full English Breakfast comes a close second to a Full Roast Beef dinner. 😁

@@DarrenJohn I guess that is true as there are many variations. Mine is: two pork sausages,two rashers of back bacon,mushrooms,baked beans,two fried eggs,two slices of fried bread,glass of fresh orange juice and a large mug of tea. No doubt others will disagree. Keep up the good work.

Had my pre wed stag night in the Vaux Tavern 4 decades back. Glad still going, best place for a stag night ever, guys there really knew how to give a good time, incl those us straight.
Got shit-faced, obviously, then walked home to Kennington. No puke. Brilliant! Still married, just...

My go to caf when in Vauxhall now, Darren, ever since you reviewed it with Lee last year. I've been there 3 times since, and always enjoyed the breakfast. The staff are also very welcoming and good, quick service. I should have waved, as I went through Vauxhall on the train into Waterloo this morning around that time - it was a lovely day in Town today. Southbank was heaving this evening all the way from London Bridge to Waterloo. My breakfast was a bacon roll in Maria's cafe in Borough Market, followed with a coffee in the Monmouth Coffee Shop.

Hungry work walking and shopping lol. But that breakfast looked amazing. When you cut the egg, yum! I like a fried slice but not many places do them. Really nice looking breakfast. Even better getting stamps for your custom. I don’t ride bikes but they looked so cool. Great vlog DJ
