If the pac12 goes away, I hope we get a your conference is over. Also, I'm going to predict that it's going to be widely reported that Arizona is leaving the pac today.
Amen Lou. Fans don’t wear “My conference has a better TV deal than yours” t-shirts. No one really cares. The only conferences than care about that, are the ones that don’t win on the field. They’ve got no rings or trophies, so their massive TV deal keeps them warm. I never hear SEC fans talk about it because they’ve got actual game results to brag up.
Problem is the death of the pac 12 is going to be a slow death from what I've seen its probably going be Arizona then Arizona state is going to decide what there going to do if they leave then Utah is going to decide if they want to go as well
Even a conference realignment does affect my team to an extent I honestly don't give a damn where they go I just want to wake up on Saturday and whatch college football
One of my favorite college football memories of my entire life was seeing Florida beat FSU in the Sugar Bowl to bring home their first National Championship. I really didn't care that we played them at the end of the season and were going to play them again. On the contrary, the fact that it was a revenge game made it all the more sweet. Ryan Day needs to quit his bellyaching and figure out a way to beat Michigan already.
Your so funny unbiased in your thoughts and I love the way you present college football I'm going subscribe to you as a real Michigan fan starting from days of Bo Rick Leach and on respect for Georhia the great Hesrshel walker and your national champion. You know 1981 Michigan was ranked season ranking numberr one you know going preseason 1 to the final no. 1 is rarely seen Georgia did that
I’m certainly not a PAC 12 fan but as a college football fan it’s absolutely necessary the PAC 12 stay together because typically that is how I finish my Saturdays in the fall watching the games out there and you get lots of great games some very high scoring games that are very entertaining to watch I hope they get their act together in that conference as Lou said more conferences equals more college football that is always a good thing
It shouldn’t have that much of an effect bc those would still be west coast games regardless of the conference so they would still be late games out there
Meh, since they lost USC and UCLA, they are really a has been league. I want them to die and the better schools join UCLA and USC in a Pac12 division of the B1G now. Kind of lost interesting in keeping the league after LA schools left.
2 things popped in my mid while watching this... 1: it's a relief to know someone other than an Ohio State fan is calling bs on moving the Ohio State-TTUN game. 2: Why should we be bickering about where games are broadcasted? The more important thing is getting them on TV so the fans can watch, as there was a long time where that was an uncommon thing and the NFL fans still aren't guaranteed that.
The networks know that by the time a pac 12 game comes on we have been watching games for ten hours. Most of us are to drunk to watch Arizona and Cal play a less than entertaining game.
Bigger super conferences will mean more beat downs to teams that would have had a better record in there previous conference. Get use to more loses for more money...lol.
There is a lot of things changing but I agree with Lou, I am finding things to like and look forward to in the coming years. Playoffs with a potential for a second or even a rare third game between 2 great teams, along with College campus Playoffs are great for the sport in my opinion.
Come on Lou. A 40 million gap between what SEC teams are making in ACC teams are making is big. And would destroy the level of competition. Don't oversimplify the situation.
Yeah. It's just an unfortunate reality. And especially with a 12 team playoff coming, money differences are going to affect parity. Especially in what is left of the Pac-12.
I think a lot of fans suffer from the fact that the college football ‘off-season’ is SO LONG that they actually start thinking they care about some of this stuff a lot more than they actually do. I like how Josh Pate puts it; I’ll paraphrase: “When you’re watching Penn State vs Michigan (or pick whoever vs whoever) and it’s the fourth quarter and Penn State is down by 3 and looking at a fourth and one from the Michigan 40 and the offense stays on the field to try to pick up the first down STOP……… in that moment, are you thinking about NIL? Are you thinking about conference realignment? Are you thinking about any of this stuff we’ve been talking about all off-season? No.”
PAC-12 in 2026 will be the Mountain West-16 headlined by Boise State,San Diego State, and UNLV. TV Deals will be CBS Sports Network and your local RedBox
It’s looking more likely that we won’t have a Power 5 no more 🥴 even the ACC will be in trouble down the road and although the Big 12 has done a good job getting more teams, they don’t have any premier program. Just have to let it all pan out.
Uncle Lou. You probably saw this, but Josh Pate asked if you feel like you would like college football more like it was in 2007 or how it's going to be in 2027. How do you feel about that. I answered 2027, but I understand people who pick 2007. I just think of all of the great match ups that we will see.
Claims from 'media sources' place it likely around 2x G5 money and there is some other revenue outside the media deal, but pretty squarely the worst of P5, if they still have P5 status based on who / how many shift to other conferences.
I would say being on a budget it's mildly annoying the Big 10 is split into 4 networks and streaming only on peacock now. TV is expensive enough without having to get Peacock for 3 months. Understanding its not the end ofnthe world. But still doesn't seem fan friendly. Obviously it's all about money, just saying
@@chasejackson7248 That's fair, it's obviously not a dealbreaker and I'll still watch SEC football. I've just always loved their presentation and it's pretty nostalgic for me. Also if these new deals somehow get rid of big noon kickoff I'm all for that.
I think oregon and Washington is to woke for the Big ten and the Big 12 is well They should just stay on the Woke Coast and get Washington State Oregon State Stanford and Cal and probably San Diego State and just start a new conference they can call it the woke coast conference
You're right Uncle Lou. I didn't like the 12-team playoffs either. The Pac 12 Commissioner is an absolute joke
He's new.
He isn't the reason the pac 12 is in this predicament
All I want is for my traditional rivals to stay together in a conference and for us to be able to play them in meaningful games each year.
Yes...we really need football to start NOW.
If the pac12 goes away, I hope we get a your conference is over. Also, I'm going to predict that it's going to be widely reported that Arizona is leaving the pac today.
FACTS I hate talking about realignment 💯
But Wou! Who have dey pwayed?
The longest trip in college football is any road game for Hawaii.
Amen Lou.

“We have reached the bottom of the rabbit hole.” 😂
Arizona is holding a meeting at 530 eastern to decide what are they going to do
leave that is what lmao
Spoiler Alert: They are not staying in the PAC-12
Problem is the death of the pac 12 is going to be a slow death from what I've seen its probably going be Arizona then Arizona state is going to decide what there going to do if they leave then Utah is going to decide if they want to go as well
However Oregon and Washington could jump the line in front of utah and Arizona state and grab a ticket from the big 12 should they decide to leave
I think they’re meeting because they’ve already decided to leave 😅
Give'm hell Uncle Lou. I am 100% with you on this. Plus, I am ready for football. RTR❤
Every team in the PAC 12 should go to a different conference. Looks like the commissioner could care less about program.

Honestly, you really relayed the message pretty well Lou! This was great man!
Pac12 views are so low that there isn’t any network out there that wants to sign them. Got a feeling their games will be played on the cw 😅

Yup I don't care about realignment predictions and who was right or who broke the news first....never understood the obsession with that
The []_[] vs everybody! 30 days away baby!!!
Exactly. I asked a longhorn fan how much was he getting
Utah is just one of those teams I love watching. If Kyle Whittingham really wanted to, he could go to bigger program.

Tough to stay awake long enough to finish watching those games
Lou is funny when he aint even trying. I sincerely hope the 5 major conf. stay together.
PAC 12 has “step on a rake” disease
Anyone remember when Netflix wasn't a streaming service and they just sent you dvds in the in the mail?
Why would anyone who has the opportunity to leave not go running and screaming out of there now? This is a joke.
The last program worth a shit in the Pac 12 please turn off the lights.
We need an episode of YSIO

Josh pate has basic boring takes, he doesn’t want to ruffle anyones feathers
@@chandlerwhite8302 fair enough

Pac-9 could try C-Span
Gets even worse when you take usc out of the conference. 1991 Washington last team to win one.
That is arguably the best team to suit up in College Football....They were disgustingly good that year!
Yea I’m not sure what day was thinking with that comment he had to have known how that looks
amen
Don’t change a thing uncle Lou

The Voice of college Football says he won that debate with you about tOSU vs The SEC record about a year ago.
He's wrong.
He admitted live on air.
Ohio State is something like 2-11 or 2-12 against SEC teams in bowl games. That's kind of pitiful.
@@ninline2000 i Know! But there still Channels outhere that make excuses about why their record should not be that against the SEC

LSU has THREE since the last Pac-12 national title.
Just stream on twitch at this point 🤦🏽♂️
At this point...it has to be REALLY low numbers being kicked around, for this to not be done yet. Are we talking AAC money here?
Rumor is 20 to 25 mill per school.

of course it is low. kliavkoff has been dragging his feet and finally decides to present a media deal in panic of colorado dipping lmao
With the way this is going, the pac-12 should fold.
I stram most of the games i watch. But i dont want to have to buy another streaming service.
Gators going the Sunshine network wouu! Going to stop giving those gumps and dwoogs all our money!

Clemson and FSU will leave the ACC, and if they go to the Big Ten, that's a big deal as far as matchups. Won't happen this year, but it will happen.
Streaming on Apple is a dumb idea.
Arkansas vs Georgia for the SEC title this year
Most fans don’t give a chit about tv deals or realignment. Why even talk about it when you hate talking about it.

You think re-alignment talk is bad? Go on Reddit. All they talk about is relegation, which I think is a terrible idea.
Lou should just be the SEC commissioner at this point.
