I need an Excell file to remember which CCU is needed for which chain in order not to overload my ASOP with too many dublicates or loaner ships I simply hate.
Some pretty solid packages you've created. My fleet is a Carrack for all sorts of stuff, an MSR for cargo and eventually data running, and a Gladius for combat.
My fleet is very expensive but tbh most of it I just got because I like the ship or the idea of it, not many of my ships I have because I was trying to build the perfect fleet.
Basically the same. I choose my ships because they look awesome. Luckily I’ve managed to stay away from the bigger ships. I almost bought a pioneer but I figure I need to work my way up to something in the game. I’ll probably just play with my friend group in a small org. Maybe some random people to fill in the gaps.
@@jamesithink6177 as long as it’s fun money and no one’s going hungry. I CCU’d into a Perseus and an Orion. Picked up a nova tank plus a couple of starters to get friends in the game later this year.
Great video with some good advice. I find that a lot of fleet videos out there are not that solid. I really like your inclusion of the SL TAC, because in terms of versatility it is a real gem.
Thank you for the content I believe you are missing an important component: each bracket needs a game package and I believe it would be beneficial to have a game package for everything with a bed so that ship can be in an area that is best for that ship’s role
Start slow and add here and there something was my approach you can allways melt or ccu and if you find a keeper, get a cheap LTI token , a small concept ship , maybe a starter with lifetime insureance, and CCU it into your keeper. At events you get warbond CCUs, but that means fresh money and not a single dime of storecredits can be used. The TAC has to be used with the fury or another ship whats fitting in the TAC, because we still dont know for sure what can fit in there..
These are interesting. Kind of hard to judge how good as a lot of the more expensive fleets were based on ships not available. Even the Ghost was removed from purchase. It would be cool to see you build a fleet from the starting package and work your way up from there - buying additional ships or upgrading current ones as you go along.
For a $1000 combo pack my vote is the Orion, a Taurus, and anything else that you want to cram in there. We’ve got some waiting to do though. The Orion will probably come out with one of these asteroid belt systems.
I don't think most of these packs fit my tastes, but since you gave your reasoning for each ship it's pretty easy for me to figure out what to swap around to match what I'd want at each price point. Nice job!
Great video, i would suggest the all Drake solution at less than $300, with the Vulture and Cutlass Black, as an alternative to the C1 which has never really resonated with me. That said, i know the C1 is a well regarded ship! -- Also at less than $300 ($245), I like the Intrepid + Gladius + Hull A, to focus on Cargo vs. Salvage; also a good idea to swap the Intrepid for a different starter or the C8R.
Warranties I’m of the opinion that I want everything with a warranty and nothing to complete my starting fleet is left to earn-in-game (like Endeavor modules or ATLSs, etc). The reason for this is if they get destroyed I don’t want to waste time to repurchase something with whatever depreciated value CIG gives on an insurance claim
great vid. looking forward to the solo video on this. i think i will upgrade from the starlancer max to the tac. I already have the railen in my fleet and i dig the polaris hagar bay but i dont want to drop 975$ on it as a solo.
Tac needs a fury though.😂 fixed on the next pack at least. The commitment to the endeavor is interesting. So hard to think that ship is anything but a dream.
$ 100 budget: TITAN pack costs 75, not 60, Better off getting an Intrepid with LTI now for 80, and upgrading it to a nomad with $15... left with $5 for a paint $200 budget: Buy the intrepid LTI pack, upgrade to a Taurus with CCUs + NURSA ingame, if youre patient enough you can also get a self referral building those ccus to the Taurus and maybe with the savings get a C8R on top of the referal bonus. $300 Budget : Again, LTI pack with the Intrepid, CCU up to an Aquila, that comes with an URSA and Merlin snub, 96SCU of cargo, can do any PVE bounties and cover exploration gameplay in the future. $400 Budget: STOP on one of the previous options, run while you can.
Best way to spend $450+ is to get a package on main account, then anytime they have a referral bonus that gives a free LTI ship as a bonus referral. And buy 1 x lowest price game package on a New alt referral account, and after you get the free ship, transfer the stater package to your main account and melt it and buy CCU upgrades. You should get 10 free ships and 10 referrals so you get a free Gladius and a few other referral bonus. I wish I had done that. I only got 1 free ship in the past. Don’t buy a starter package until you can get the free referral ship.
Grinding rep for Guilds While not present today, I believe a part of versatility will be which guilds can a ship be at least adequate to completing missions for. For fleet design the primary ship should be the best soloable daily driver adequate for that price range Imho different suggestions should be made to cover missions for Guilds not covered by the primary Example, If you are into science/medical get this. If racing get that, etc
I liked all of recommendations except the $500 I would replace the Corsair with the Taurus since it has more fire power and more cargo storage. The Taurus has 4.1 SCU of quantum fuel vs 5.2 with the Corsair which, as of now, doesn't mean much because that game loop is not out yet. Also, the Taurus has a larger shield and hull HP than the Corsair (56.1K vs 48.8K quadrant and 130K vs 91K). Just my opinion!
Great video. Would like to see a comparison of this to if you were to CCU at those same numbers. Think it would show people how much of a benefit it will be if you wait some things out.
Just get a skin to hit concierge... yup, pledge store veteran behaviour 😅 my personal favorite in ship combinations: A Titan, the Prospector and a Freelancer Max, optionally even a base Lancer if trading is out of the question. Only for people who like mostly grinding by mining but if i had thought of that one way sooner, i probably would have never earned my monocle
I'm a pretty budget player myself but I definitely want to make some purchases during the next sale and this is exactly the video i've been looking for.
Overall an enjoyable video, even though I can't agree with many of your choices. I don't know how you get to a 600.00 pack that has Three combat capable ships, but no miner or med bed. By the way the dedicated hangar in the Tac is only confirmed to hold the Fury and nothing else. If I were to add a snub, it would be that.
I keep looking for excuses to own a cutty black, but the first ship I bought after my starter pack was an MSR so I have no reason at all to buy a Cutty. And that makes me sad
For me a player only need 2 ships. 1 industrial preferably (hull series, mining, or salvage) and 1 multi purpose ship (cutlass black, c1, freelancer max, taurus, etc.). But me I am beyond that point 😅.
$200 is probably the worst one and just hiding behind a pack theme to justify the lack of combat ability? I do think the Taurus is better with pinnacle of pilot controlled firepower, large shield, ability to hold more cargo, and ability to carry a nursa if you still really want the respawn. The biggest downside is probably not having a quick claim time or other ship that can be used while the Taurus is being claimed. But you also expand your quantum distance and speed by stepping up a size class so you can consider that also. Finally I also don't like spending cash on the C8R given that it's one of the worst dollar per aUEC values in the game... It's a fine ship but it's super cheap. Just buy it in game. And get that Taurus. One ship is minor nuance but it goes away almost immediately as soon as you buy something in game.
Ok for lower price brackets i would concentrate on money making ships like the vulture over the c1. I can rent a connie if i need to move stuff. Imho the Titan is a great ship but if you want industrial game play buy a auroura instead. If its your only ship Titan all the way. The Corsair is great for multirole but it can just fit a pices r and as such i would like to see that here. For bunker running either a Connie with medical ursa or a cutty red. Depending on how much you hate turrets i guess. For a cargo player the c1 is a decent buy or the hull a but your better off going tarus straight up. Gets you decent at flying big ships and good good capacity. For general combat I would look at probably a hurricane or guardian. Not that much more than a hornet but both are more flexible than a hornet.
With Starfarer as loaner, Endeavor seems like a painfull ship to hold on to. I mean that gotta be one of the worst ship in the game atm? Probably better to sit at some other ship below it and lock in the ccu.
"We assume if you've spent $1,000 you already know what you're doing."
Ummm... Yeah... About that... Ooo! Piece of candy!
I've spent well over $1,000 and I have no clue what I'm doing. 😊 Mostly I collect CCUs.
Ha! Same!
You did the best option! So many good options
I need an Excell file to remember which CCU is needed for which chain in order not to overload my ASOP with too many dublicates or loaner ships I simply hate.
@@evemaniac I’ve played more spreadsheet CCU game than the real game, haha
Haha same i didn't even noticed until the concierge notice showed up. 😂
They call me Einstein because my fleet is theoretically incredibly.
$400 just a reclaimer. All claimer all the time. 😂
Some pretty solid packages you've created. My fleet is a Carrack for all sorts of stuff, an MSR for cargo and eventually data running, and a Gladius for combat.
Great topic idea. As a solo, I don’t need the same fleet as others
No fighter in my entire fleet is my personal big win. Thanks to Inforunners 😁
Really nice new series!
My fleet is very expensive but tbh most of it I just got because I like the ship or the idea of it, not many of my ships I have because I was trying to build the perfect fleet.

I haven’t stayed away, this iae I bought an idris a pioneer 2 endeavours and a paladin almost bought a kraken too was a bad week for me lmao
rule of cool all the way!
@@jamesithink6177 as long as it’s fun money and no one’s going hungry. I CCU’d into a Perseus and an Orion. Picked up a nova tank plus a couple of starters to get friends in the game later this year.
yeah the same here ive a lot of ships just for there looks
“What make a good fleet?” A Perseus. A Perseus makes a good fleet.
Great video with some good advice. I find that a lot of fleet videos out there are not that solid. I really like your inclusion of the SL TAC, because in terms of versatility it is a real gem.
Shouldn’t these be limited to ship that are flyable today or at least expected this year?
Great video and recommendations!
I appreciate the info it really helped me lock in my decision on what to upgrade my ship to.
Thank you for the content

at $245 that leaves room for a cutter so you can run bunkers with a stv or carry a roc non quantum

Cutty black is also great for roc mining if you want to do that
Quick question for ya! When do you think we'll be able to log back into the game and fly our 15000 dollar fleets?
Well rounded pack looks like what ill be aiming for. Well i will add mk2 to that but still.

Endeavor till a jpg after the release 1.0 and it need a strong defence, it's a no go for me.

Intrepid, Apollo Medivac, Guardian, Ironclad.

That’s a big exaggeration, a few years yeah no more than 5
@@jamesithink6177 maybe but john crewe said that the endevour will be the last ship in the pipeline. so how many ships are left we can do some maths
