And I thought FS19 AI Traffic was bad 😂
Clearly those roads were designed with double bloody deckers in mind! LOL
Like the way the lorry driver always thanks the other drivers with his horn!
Taxi driver knows what to do! In my area he'd have pulled in front of you and waited for you to reverse..
Everyone was very civil there and the bus driver was especially kind to you.
Great to see this view from your perspective! Great video.
Driving big rigs isn't easy, let alone down dodgy country roads. Respect.
A double decker bus, really! On those roads. All that was missing was a combine harvester. 🤔
Double decker or single decker the width at least would have been about the same. And the length of some double decker's is shorter than that of a single decker!
Easy road mate, I will make a dashcam video of the road I drive down, immigrants crossing in random areas, people who don't know how to drive.
They need to stop putting farms in the countryside. The roads there are completely unsuitable ;-)
esuohdica thats the most retarded comment ive seen in a while
Sarcasm mate
lol
More like people who live on these farms need to stop buying stuff that requires an artic truck to deliver.
GFY!
I wish the roads in Devon had such nice tarmac on them!
Phew! Great Driving. A joy to watch. Thanks
Must be a right pain doing that driving ,love the big acorn (pine cone) lol
At least it's been surfaced well.
On the plus side:
You have the best view.
All of those you encountered were immediately courteous.
To be fair though you're not gonna argue with a truck, especially on roads like these. At least right minded people wouldn't anyway.
Ribeirasacra: Without a shadow of doubt that if these motorists came across a few cyclists who are staying off the main roads for their own safety would go crazy because they are being held up, makes me fume that motorists are just using such roads as a short cut to get away from congested roads.
Over reacting a lot when the puma came towards you
Lol
I was hoping for a deer
bloody hell, a bus driver with common sense
also people commenting that the roads are dangerously narrow. farms are traditionally around narrow country roads so whos dumb idea was it to design the widest possible veichle to supply those farms
Even in a car, i avoid single track roads.
Respect that bus driver professional deive
Serious needle thrreading there. Just glad I don't have this to deal with, and the trees scratching my paint would drive me nuts.
From some of the comments YOU can see that the largest thing thay have guided through a tight gap woods not make your eyes WATER!! Wot thay need is a day out in an old 1980 foden haul master with a 6LXB180C GARDENER pulling an eight leger with double drive rockwalls the First five gears was twenty miles an hour the lights would change halfway ODA 868X SEEN DOING SPEEDS OF 35/40 ON A FRIDAY.
I'd be asking the farmer to meet me at the junction 🤠
I've seen - and traveled - worse. On one occasion my SatNav took me down a lane that was a decent width at the start, but just got narrower and narrower the further I went. By the time that I got to the sign saying "Ford unsuitable for cars" it was too late to even consider turning around with my caravan on the back.
The ford *was* unsuitable as it had a massive step in the middle. Fortunately it was a step down so it didn't stop my 4X4, but it di leave a lot of dirty water in one of the headlights.
FYI that was the first inkling that the 'road' wasn't as easily passable a you would have hoped it to be.
Ha ha, Acorn tree? Over here in the US, in our yards we have Oak trees ;)
And do your Acorn trees drop pineapples or something?
People move over, reverse to make space and even move parked cars. Seems like a nice countryside rather than hell...
Big wheeler big wheeler you love it!
We have a road in Devon that is a bus route like that. It is a route to Exeter airport and at certain times of the day (4-5pm) the airport industrial estate kicks out and the traffic absolutely belts along the road!! I know what it is like!
Brian99 H I know that route very well delivering there and Cranbrook all the time
Brian99 H it's a nightmare there
Try driving against the mums on the Landscove school run!!!
my uncle has a farm in yate Bristol and the lanes are narrow around the farm one day there was a car parked across the gateway of the farm so my uncle got his telehandler put the pallet forks on the front and lifted the car out of the way and put it in the layby near the farm so he could get out with the tractor and trailer
Josh Pickford where was it parked what farm gateway was it blocking my uncle moved one in yate bristol
That "road" is about as wide as the bike path where I live.
I loved that! It took me back to when I was occasionally sent, with a 12 metre coach down crazy country lanes that you'd never choose to drive down. It was always a "sweaty palm" time, praying that nothing would come round the next corner. Stressful. Plus many car drivers don't know how to react/what they should do when confronted by a large vehicle. Twice as bad with a coachload of passengers! Thanks for sharing. I now need to lie down in a darkened room.......!
They seem to have polite drivers in the country at least
Strange what bus drivers, farmers, maintenance engineers have to go through driving down country roads and there are large delivery lorries blocking the way. Perhaps company’s could choose more suitable vehicles to do their “dropping off” in.
Hey..it's all in a days work. Complaining won't change things when its a country road.
Road? This is a driveway!
what a polite bunch of oncoming traffic.
good driving mate
I know that road! Pleshey to Ford end, Essex
I'd trade you in a heartbeat. You should see the area I have to drive in. Here in California there's millions of cars on the highways, and you got to get around with a 53-foot trailer, it's 5 or 10 accidents waiting to happen everyday and I've been doing it for 30 years. OSH :-(
I don't know what the person is showing, a huge truck down a very narrow lane? What do you expect but hold ups and tight squeezes, you should be skilled enough to know how to deal with that, that's your job. I see so many trucks where the driver appears to have no thought, when I asked my local haulier about that matter his reply was "sadly there are a lot of bad truck drivers about". Sure many car driver do stupid things but truck drives do too.
an acorn tree is called an oak
bloody big acorn! a fir tree one assumes ;)
That Acorn is a Pine Cone, from a Pine Tree :-)
Acorns are tiny ! That was too big to be an acorn ! But that’s possibly why you’re a truck driver and not a Dendrologist ( a person who studies trees) !
I should get another job mate, it stressed me out watching the video. Heart attack scenario I have been there and had the bypass.
Driving slowly on a single lane road, occasionally waiting a little bit for people to politely and reasonably make way for you. What a harrowing experience.
Its a push bike lane yes ?
LOL. What do you want? A six-lane super-highway for that small amount of traffic? It's a farm road, meant to just get the job done - and I suspect most of the farmers there wouldn't really want the increased traffic of a larger road.
You decided to do the job, don't complain
Dangerous RC productions You're never allowed to complain about any job you every choose to do again...
new zealand roads, even the country roads are fucking huge. the thinnest road in nz I've ever driven wad about as thin as most roads in derby
What a ridiculous bike path that is. That must be in a third world cuntry.
Like the sun on the trees
Do you driving the new Scania? I can hear it at the Indikator sound.
no its a Renault t480 comfort
Dash Cam UK Oh okay! Good to know! Thank you! :)
Dash Cam UK comfort week not for day
in my part of the world this would be a trail
It looked a very civilised road from hell to me. Low hedges or none, lots of visibility and passing places and you only had to reverse a little bit once. I think the bus driver probably suffered more hell. Why didn't you just drive over the grass verge? Just cos it's been mown by a toffs gardener doesn't make it sacred ground!
Because lorries have a higher axle load then cars and esp tractors.
Driving onto the verge is one thing, driving off again can be another.
Sinking on one side and getting stuck is the risk.
TheChloeRed especial it the country side seems to all mud, vet into that stuff with a HGV your looking at a £2000 recovery bill minimum and a very pissed of toff as you put nice big groves in his garden, bus driver did a good thing easier to revers something that doesn't bend in the middle
Lottie Bronte lol.
waw and all friendly people xD
try nogotiating the lanes nr islington devon there narrower with a lot on sharp blind bends and badly parked cars.
So much traffic on these tiny roads... wtf
Driving at night or in fog must be the worst
Curious, but why in a country as old and relatively wealthy as Britain are your country roads still only big enough for a horse cart? Here in the United States of Cheeseburgers even our most back country banjo-picking background music rural roads are double-laned.
KlunkerRider Because most of the fields are owned by the farms which the council can't build on as it is not government property
asbornbros Same here, but the guv'ment used legal means like Highway Dedication rules and Eminent Domain to widen the roadways (for the public good don'tcha know) Are there no such provisions for the public good in Old Blighty? or is it just a lack of desire on the governments part to stir the pot with the locals?
Simply because there isn't enough space. If farmers tarmac over some of their land to widen the roads then they lose valuable acres of income, not to mention the destruction of ancient hedgerows (and all the protected wildlife in it) and the fact that most of England was built when all you had to ride around on was a horse and cart and accordingly a lot of houses are too close to the roadside to allow any expansion.
On the other hand it is fun when people that come from countries that have no small roads, get driven round all the lanes, and call us crazy for driving at the speeds we do on them.
Because many of those roads were build hundreds of years before our United States even existed. Cutting out a larger swath for wider roads now would reduce valuable farm land in a country were farm land is already not plentiful. Get real.
United States of Cheeseburgers lolololol!!!! I don't know why but that tickled so somewhat this frosty December morning. You have a lovely way with words KlunkerRider
Toy 'country' burnouts, toy farms for the Androvian Fluff Rats and Djibouti Lettuce lovers, toy roads, toy facilities. A deadly game.
Good way to get me to sleep
That was no farm road from hell, try single track farm roads in Scotland, we don't have tar on most of them - pothole hell!!
Most of the main roads on the west of Scotland are pothole hell as well.
Same here in Ireland
Dat case puma though.
Those roads were built back in the day when there wasn't much traffic.
Not really there just mainly for farm traffic they can drive on them fine it's only a problem when other vehicles like buses and people using them as short cuts use them that's the problem
I'm gonna use this footage on my website. Hope your cool with that
What you’re supposed to say is ‘would it be ok with you if I were to use this footage for my website?’
Do you like driving on these kind of roads? :D
hell in America our gravel roads are bigger than that bike path.
Yeah, I hear everything is bigger in America, especially vaginas!
@7.00 acorn tree??? The acorn is a nut from a OAK tree! That to me looks like a pine cone.
came here to say similar... I like how it's the bikers that notice xD
If you think this is bad, come to cornwall
Roads in the UK are to narrow for modern farm equipment and lorry’s if we want to keep eating some thing has to change widen the roads ,what’s the solution
Nice driving I hate it when arctics don't pop there horn to say thank you.
yeah me 2 ,when i'm driving agricultural equipment and somebody stops for me or let's me pass i will always try to say thx by honking , waving or flashing the lights
Jonny Jones *artics *their.
Pc brigade out again
Jonny Jones What has political correctness to do with me correcting your bad English? I prefer to call it grammar nazism.
Hes driving a tractor
Why are the roads so narrow!
I doubt this hgv driver is still.alive had heart attack by now. It's a country lane expect it. And how else domyou think people get around in the countryside yes buses and wow a tractor on a road.
Good job.........best truck driver ever !^^
must be a posh area....... there road surface was 10/10 try country roads in devon/somerset pot holes the size of a tractor! nice to see your view though :)
m341ehw true story they are everywhere i Devon!
You drive way too fast for the conditions.bWhat is so ridiculous is that you are SURPRISED when vehicles come the other way.
Maybe tractor driver needs to chill like a panic every time he sees another vehicle, that's what happens on a road
Th-there's someone coming the OTHER WAY! HOLY ****!
Well i mean trucks should not be on that road it is obviously too small, everyone else has done absolutely nothing wrong?
"thought you'd like to see what we go through" - you mean slowing down occasionally while other vehicles move out of the way? Swearing at a bus having the temerity to be on the same road?
7:02 ‘Acorn tree’ - it’s an OAK tree that produces Acorns.
that's me all day fella. Well done
That's a footpath!!!
After thorough reviewing of your video, I think I know what your problem is:
You're driving some kind of truck/lorry/whateveryoucallit on a road that's clearly meant for motorcycles.
If everyone you meet results in a "holy beep", then you should try a different vehicle.
* Please note: Motorcycles may have limited cargo capacity.
You have to drive a bloody lorry for dropping off the cargo. You can't drive a motorbike and have a full load behind it
I can never understand why, when there is all that land around them, that the roads are so narrow in the country.
Dale Skidmore because the field is owned by the farm that uses it and it's not government property so they can't build on it without the farms permission
Dale Skidmore. The roads are fine, it is the vehicles that are too big.
7:14 did the tire slip when you were turning on the grass ?
No. what happened there was. I looked in the mirror and noticed that I was getting too close to the fence on the corner so had to move out quickly
Oh ok, great driving mate!
I don't understand why it was a problem with cars coming the opposite direction ? It's a 2 way road isn't it?
yeah but its still annoying lol
Ben Stephens it's just a massive hassle getting around them
You'll find out most motorists are using such back lanes as a cut through to get off congested roads ? This is totally wrong in my eyes and most of such back lanes have a National Speed limit of 60, so most idiotic motorists will do 60 on a single track road only to come across some very serious hazards like cyclists - horses - tractors.
Cars & buses should stay on the main roads like they should and not cut through.
If you noticed it was a school bus dropping children of in rural locations he's the same as the lorry driver has no choice apart from to use, I use back roads all the time especially in rush hour it so much quicker
richard gibbs Of course I noticed it is a school bus but what I also noticed there was hardly anyone one that bus! I see no real reason why a smaller bus/minibus can't be used. Lets hope you don't crash on these back roads/lanes as they are never gritted.
Probably 100kph roads too lol
I can see what is wrong here the lorry driver is useless how much road do you need
Instead of putting 'see what we go through' you should say 'see what we put every one else through' since you're the only one who didn't have to get out of the way.
I know truck drivers get sent to some stupid places to drop loads but those roads and really not meant for trucks and whoever is ordering something that needs and artic to deliver it then shame on them!
Sinky hes not driving an artic tho
+Sinky
Guy, are you daft? It's just as likely he's picking up goods (farm produce or whatever) from one or more of those farms.
He mentions on one of the captions he is towing a trailer.
CAElite it states at the start that he just finished tipping now im not a farmer or anything but im pretty sure this is a tractor with a tipping trailer
S3ANLFC tractor maybe, but I expect truck with aggregate tipper.
take it easy son the others want to get somewhere as well !!! blame the damn council fo the shity roads
Bloody hell! One thing after another then stop start stop start. :-(
Clearly you are not happy in your job... if you think that that is hell,,,
Sounds nice wat you driving 4wheeler don't understand
lol
Might be wrong but swear this is in Essex?
If you google the coordinates shown in the video you can find out where the location is
Lily Brown it is because Ive seen that bus near Chelmsford lol
The Supercars Of Essex haha I was thinking that as well
Lily Brown 😁👍🚌
I got about 1min into the video and was thinking "I recognise that road"... Definitely Essex... would be a fairly good chance I could have been one of the drivers coming the other way at times :)
why are you trekking miles from your farm to the fields, when your land must be around your farm?
raymond gilbert he’s a lorry driver not a farmer
Why is he driving
The Brits are so civilized.
Allan Stokell You really only need to spend one day on British roads to realise we so are not lol everyone gets angry as hell on the road lol.
Who's the problem?
Small vehicles on small roads, clearly designed for small cars.
Or self entitled boys using very small roads in humongous tractors?
You sound as though it's your road, and no one else should use it.
I can sympathise... it's not so much the driving of the vehicle that is a pain, but the actions or lack from fellow road users that make life hard.
