    Well for me this is definitiely the fastest harley davidson I have rode! It's an absolutely beast. Really chuffed that i made the leap to the 117 in this vlog I also list out all the added extras so you get an idea why I chopped my lowrider s 110 in for the 117.
    As always thanks for watching! P.S - my audio is suffering in this vlog so please excuse this, I am working on this to get it fixed.

    Literally my dream bike. As a 21 year old, I love this look. The full blacked out Harley is just on another level, as for club style dyna's, they appeal really well to younger riders as it gives the Harley kind of a new, young, off road dirtbike look with the beautiful rumble of a Harley and that bit of extra performance. Been dying to move up from my 1200 sporty to my dream bike which is the low rider S but damn the price of that thing is just unreal. But I really think they did a great job with that bike and its a shame they can't see how popular the style of the lower S was with younger riders who are after that Harley that they can really make their own. As for the fairing, would have to go with the Conelys USA fairing for me ;) super jealous.

      Bro you can finance any Harley you want usually with zero down if your credit is good. My credit was crap and my newest bike i financed a 2019 cvo road glide for 10% down and my payments are 500 per month. I've been paying 1500 per month on it so I only end up paying 1800 in interest...im 25 years old.

    Sweet ride and glad to see it rolling out like that. Planning on a 124 mill for my 2015 Road Glide Special with a goal of 135 hp/tq. Could go higher of course but that performance would suit me for now. At least we can sense the power and excitement from the 117 in a lighter bike and with a lighter rider. Good job!

    had the pleasure to test ride the 117ci Low Rider S 3 times in the past 2 months, very pitty I haven't been in Australia long enough to have credit to finance one, i come from the sportbikes (mostly track riding) had 07 gsxr1000, 2001 Rc51, 09 R1, and you know what, none of them had the savagery the 117ci have as far torque goes, it is truly an experience, what i would do to mine if i got financed is pretty much how yours look, with very minor changes (i absolutely love the Saddlemen Step-Up TR Tuck and Roll look) i didnt think hard enough about the mirrors but seems cool what you picked, I also would def swap my rear fender for a regular Low Rider fender, since Harley uses the same tone of vivid black on both models, for bars I love the lucky dave's bars (14 inch), tried one and the riding position was awesome, maybe next year I might get financing "power", anyways happy for you sir, you are riding a lot of ppl's dream, enjoy!

    Well done! The bike is a beast! It’s a good problem to have when your feet come off the forwards due to the brute acceleration! My suggestion is to not change anything and ride it for a while to see how you like the fit of the forwards and the rest of the set up. May be a little tougher in the twisters but better for long road trips. Enjoy it and I look forward to more great vids!

  • @Ty-ts3ku
    @Ty-ts3ku 7 років тому +1

    Hey mate, great bike, very jealous! Maybe your best option for the pegs is to go back to mids but also fit some highway pegs in the forward position? That would give you better control in the twisties while also allowing you to stretch out on longer trips. Ride safe.

Not on my bike yet as I need new brake and clutch lines, can you let me know what type/brand you have on yours and the length I need to order to have then neat and tidy with a little slack in case I decide to put an inch or two extra riser spacers on over time? What to change? Not much, personally and purely an aesthetic thing I'd change the exhausts for a blacked out option and then get it tuned to those, allegedly the Fuelpak FP3 autotunes to any exhaust but I'll defer to someone who knows if this is marketing BS or truth. I also don't think that fairing suits the bike (and it obstructs the view from the cam) but I don't think you're gonna change that as my impression is you love it, for me it just looks too much fairing for that style bike, and while we're talking about style, those handguards would have to go.
    So the only things I would change are personal taste. But man, I love that engine.

Im looking for a 2-1 system for my LRS and i like the looks and sound best from that pipe based on pics and vid. im wondering if it drags in the turns tho since it seems to be mounted lower then most. i like loud and would go with something short and open normally but i dont want to sacrifice power on this bike and 2-1 sounds like the best option. One suggestion: you might want to move your GoPro to the side of your helmet. It sounds like the new fairing is working out great, but unfortunately it also blocks out the view.
    In terms of motorcycle mods - the previous owner and you have done all the big stuff. Outside of getting a Bung King swingarm lift kit and a DK Custom ignition relocation kit, you've done everything.
    Just save the rest of your money for your next annual trade/chop-in. Haha
    Enjoy your new LRS ;-)

      One other possible mod: a DK Custom chin spoiler

      Hey fella 👋🏻 should be an easy fix for the view. I run a medium field of view on the go pro, I’ll be changing that to super wide which will massively increased field
      If view and more specifically height. We will find out in the next vlog.
