Hey! Honestly I did feel nervous about it the whole time but I already had the address and GPS pulled up to track the route. The cab driver only spoke Spanish which was kind of awkward but the concierge at the hotel translated everything. Catching a cab back was easy but it was like a carpool. He dropped out other people at a resort near by. It was safe for me but I was nervous!! I would say trust your gut feeling. Go in a crowd if you can. Maybe meet others at the resort and carpool together. Hopefully this helps.
So I have two questions
What days were you actually at the resort and was it warm enough to swim, I'm going march 14 - 19
What was the name of the club you went too, was there alot of tourist in the club as well?
I can't remember the exact dates but it was mid March. The weather was roughly around 80°. Yes, everyone was in the pools and ocean.
We stopped at several clubs downtown: Rush, Squid Roe, and Mandala.
Oh, also there is a lot of tourists downtown day or night. So yes, there will be a lot of tourist due to Spring Break for colleges is usually around that time

-Where in Cabo San Lucas did the bus left you at?

Hey!!! No worries, there was a stop right across from the resort on the main road. I believe the sign was blue. A worker by the name of Able helped me with the bus info. Crossing the main street is pretty hectic because traffic is busy!! Be careful. Once on the bus I explained to the driver I wanted to go downtown. He dropped us off right across from the marina. It's about a 30 min ride. The cost is $2.50 USD one way. Not sure how many pesos. Also took a cab at night, which was $40 USD.

Hey!! So the food was okay, not the best. Breakfast at the buffet is the best meal of the day. Fish tacos and all the snack meals at the seaside/poolside bar were great. I recommend eating there! I didn't try any of the restaurants, unfortunately.
The Altitude Tower is the building with the suites and the jacuzzi on the roof. People said it was kind of cold but I didn't get it. This building also has swim up pool suites facing the beach.
Oh and activities include morning yoga, water aerobics, tequila tasting, movie nights, night parties on the beach. I think everyday has a couple different ones to choose from.
