Keanu been coming to Cabo since 1995. Live here now. Happened to run into rapper Tupac out front Squid Row that same year. I drove from Vancouver Canada to Cabo in my jeep. Top mentions for me: 1. Whale watching. (Seasonal) 2. Swim with Whale Sharks in La Paz. (Seasonal). 3 And for a bar, like the famous "Arch" the Bar Cabo Wabo, opened by Sammy Hagar from Van Halen is Iconic. (Although the prices there are steep, you have to stop by at least.). 4 Daydrinking/Entertainment: Mango Deck 5 "The Office" Most famous restaurant on the beach. 6 Hike. "Zeta" mountain near downtown, with amazing view also. 7 My all time favorite place The waterfall at "Fox Canyon". 200 pesos entry. Moderate hike, with little lagoons and cliff jumping. One hour drive from Cabo. Again great video and editing!
These are awesome recommendations, thanks for sharing! I never heard of Zeta mountain nor the waterfall at Fox Canyon, so the next time I'm there, I'll keep these activities in mind. I definitely appreciate the tips from a local perspective.
I've been going to Cabo many years. As far as night life, there is an area right off of the marina on the main street through town. There are many bars and clubs there. Some of them are Mandala, El Squid Roe, La Vaquita, Happy Endings Cantina and I think they located a second Senor Frogs at that area. Nice job on the video.!
Thanks for providing some more options! It sounds like they are conveniently next to one another so you can just pick and choose what scene you like the most when you're there. I appreciate it!
First time viewer. I love the format of your videos…very clear and beautiful integration of maps and sceneries! 😊 P.S. I watched many other videos on Cabo, but only this one gave me a very much wholistic view of what to do and where all the things are located so that I can plan my trip properly.
Just got back from Cabo and found an amazing restaurant called- Casa Martin... The food was so amazing prepared by their Chef, plus a singer who sounded like Andre Bocchelii that provided a very romantic atmosphere.
Great videos we loved your format and all the great content. The videos were informative and edited nicely. Thanks for taking us along. New subscribers
Really enjoyed your vlog and subscribed - you deserve a LOT more subscribers! I like your thoroughness and calm delivery, along with the edits and positivity. I learned a lot and am looking forward to our time in Cabo!
I saw another video from the traveller made one year ago. He mentioned that the entrance to Balandro beach was limited to 150 guests and ghey could not make it becouse they did not make a reservation. How to make a reservation? Is there a website for Balandro beach? Ty
From what I know, the beach is limited to 450 guests each for the morning and afternoon time slot. You don’t have to make a reservation; I didn’t when I went in December 2023. You just have to get there early and be one of the first 450 people. It’s a first come, first serve basis. Of course, Balandra Beach officials can change this policy, but I believe this is the way things are still being ran. Perhaps, the other traveler you watched simply didn’t get there in time. I don’t believe there is an official website for Balandra Beach. Hope that helps!
I recommend it if you plan on taking several day trips from your accommodation. But if you are just staying in the city center like in Cabo San Lucas, then I don't recommend it. I rented a car for one day to take a day trip to Balandra Beach.
if you are in cabo san lucas and mostly staying cabo san lucas then no. If you are staying in the tourist corridor and want to take day trips to cabo san lucas or san jose del cabo, then yes. for me and my partner, we only rented a car for a single day when we had to drive to Balandra Beach near la paz. all the other days we took either an uber or taxi to get around. We stayed in Cabo San Lucas the entire time.
When the boat / water taxi drops you off, you tell them when you want to be picked back up for the return ride to the marina. For example, we told them to pick us back up in 1 hour. I also go over this in my Cabo Arch video if interested :)
I rented my car from National at Cabo San Lucas for one day. It was convenient because the location was just a walk away from the hotel (Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos Blanco). I did not want to rent a car at the airport for that exact reason of having to drive it back.
Thank you for sharing this video! How long is the hike? Can we do the hike and see the Arch on the same day? They look pretty close together. What do you suggest for transportation? We are staying at the Paradisus Los Cabos.
Hike is about a mile and should take about 2 1/2 hours. You can definitely hike and see the arch in the same day. For transportation, I'd do an uber or taxi.
if you are staying in the city center of cabo or san jose del cabo than you probably don’t need a car. I only rented a car for one day, but that’s because we traveled all the way to La Paz to visit Playa Balandra. Most people wouldn’t need a rental car.
Hi! I rented a car for only one day to get to Balandra Beach. The other days we used uber or taxis to get around Cabo San Lucas, which I’d recommend over taking a bus.
I go over this in detail in my 6 day itinerary video if interested! But in short, I’d take a shuttle from the airport to your hotel and then taxi/uber from there.
I personally thought the rooms at the Pueblo Bonito Blanco were very nice. I found them spacious and the views of the ocean were special. Try to get the top floor for the best views. Some reviews online found the rooms old, but I thought they were completely fine.
For anyone who gets sea sick, would those boats or water taxi cause someone to get sick on their way to see the Cabo Arch? I'm totally fine, but I may have family members who are ok with cruises, but get sea sick from sailing, so just not sure how rocky those boats or water taxis are.
It’s hard to say because I’m sure it depends on how rough the waters are that day. From personal experience, I had no issue whatsoever and I tend to get sea sick on boats. BUT I do remember there was a passenger on the shared water taxi that was NOT having it and had to lie down because they were feeling that sick. Take that information as you will!

😍😍😍😍
Im reading a book called The Noel Stranger by Richard Paul Evans. Part of it is set in Cabo.
Awesome video! Do you recommend renting a car?
I recommend it if you plan on taking several day trips from your accommodation. But if you are just staying in the city center like in Cabo San Lucas, then I don't recommend it. I rented a car for one day to take a day trip to Balandra Beach.
Would it be more cost effective to rent a car and drive everywhere?
if you are in cabo san lucas and mostly staying cabo san lucas then no.
How did you get back from the lover's beach?
When the boat / water taxi drops you off, you tell them when you want to be picked back up for the return ride to the marina. For example, we told them to pick us back up in 1 hour. I also go over this in my Cabo Arch video if interested :)
Thank you!
Road a humpback whale
@@KeanuTravelsTohow much water taxi round trip per head?
@amorpugh4959 It depends on what deal you get. From what I’ve seen, it can be as low as $5 to $15 per person.
What was the tour company you used for ATV
Real Baja Tours. Specifically, we did the Cabo Migrino Beach and Desert Tour
Where did you rent your car? Did have to go back to the airport?
I rented my car from National at Cabo San Lucas for one day. It was convenient because the location was just a walk away from the hotel (Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos Blanco).

I hiked mountain Walmart too
Do you recommend renting a car or there are bus or uber from the hotel that are convenient and not expensive?

Did you rent a car to get around? Or is there good public transpotation?
Hi! I rented a car for only one day to get to Balandra Beach. The other days we used uber or taxis to get around Cabo San Lucas, which I’d recommend over taking a bus.
How do you recommend travel in Cabo without a rental car?
I go over this in detail in my 6 day itinerary video if interested! But in short, I’d take a shuttle from the airport to your hotel and then taxi/uber from there.
Any restaurant recommendations to take the lady to anyone?
Just wondering what was your total cost for the trip?
Hi I cover the exact cost in my Ultimate Cabo san Lucas Travel Guide video! Just go to the end of the video for the breakdown :)
How are the rooms at Pueblo Bonito?
I personally thought the rooms at the Pueblo Bonito Blanco were very nice. I found them spacious and the views of the ocean were special. Try to get the top floor for the best views. Some reviews online found the rooms old, but I thought they were completely fine.

Would there be whales at the end of September?
whale watching season is december to april so it would be very rare to spot a whale in september unfortunately
How much was the entire trip didn’t hear that part
I go over this in great detail in my Cabo San Lucas 6 Day Itinerary video. You can go to the price breakdown portion of it if you’d like!
🎉
Eat at Maro steak and seafood!!
thanks! I'll consider that! must be great!!!
Go to the Office in Cabo
Thank you for NOT sharing the club life.
There’s way more to Cabo than just the nightlife!
