Thanks for the tips. My best vacation is when I don't have to drive. I could just relax either at the beach or pool. I am staying at the Riu Palace. I was told I can hop from one Riu to another. There are three. All inclusive and includes roundtrip transportation to airport to hotel. Thanks

Fun Facts: the divorce beach area is not ONLY accessible by boat. Many things you hear or are told in Cabo are lies. These people were just duped. You can walk to that beach from a side area. No one openly tells you this as the boats to beach are about $10 USD, the guys outside the mall will charge you more then people inside the mall, maybe vice versa depending on the day, key thing is, ask price and pretend ur not even really interested. I seen people walk to it, leave it in person and on UA-cam. Personally I took the boat it’s way faster obviously and it’s a nice boat ride, not a rip off really. Don’t swim on divorce beach by the way, good change you could die. Warning the other side is nice but plenty of flies and shit. At least when I was there.
Good info. We've been to Cabo twice but only for a few hours each on a cruise stop but we're flying there in 2 days for a week long stay at the Westin. Also renting a car through Cactus. Looking forward to it and thanks for a few excursion ideas.
Hi, you can do either! We found that booking the excursions at Cabo were a little cheaper, and you're also able to haggle a little. I would recommend this if you have some flexibility with time.
@@ScarsThreadyes they have Uber. I took Uber from the airport to my hotel in San Jose Del Cabo and it worked great. The people at the airport said Uber was not allowed to pick me up there but the Uber driver said to meet him at the arrivals which I did. I also used Uber many times to and from my hotel for sightseeing and it worked without any problems. Uber is very inexpensive in Mexico.
we've only been to one, so I can't say which one is the best, but the one we stayed at- The Marquis was pretty nice! I realized though all inclusive is not really my thing
Thanks! Unfortunately, we thought it be best to buy the CDW, and thats what we did. CC coverage seemed like there would be alot of hassle if things went south!
The cheapest is probably at the bank in the states, but you might have to order ahead of time. We usually exchange at the airport just out of convenience but there is a service fee!
San Jorge casa de cambio. Two locations, that I've used in San Jose, one south end of downtown, west side. The other just west of the McDs at La Comer. There are also locations in CSL but I haven't used those. Do a search. Great rates. No extra fees. Only issue is you aren't allowed to exchange more than a couple $100 at a time. Sometimes because they are "out", but mostly to avoid getting in trouble for aiding money laundering.
This was our first international trip together since all the craziness, and it did not disappoint! Let me know if you have any questions in the comments!
Do yourself a favor and avoid Cabo San Lucas. It used tyo be a great place to visit. Not anymore. If you want a REAL Mexican experience you won't get it here. Over priced hotels, condos, and food. Wall to wall hotels on the beach. Hustlers, scammers, drug dealers, all kinds of shady people out there. So many other places to go in Mexico to have a MUCH better time for a lot less.
Thank you for the video! My wife and I are going next week!
have an amazing time!!!
Great Video.
Thanks for putting this together and sharing .

Definitely going to Cabo after watching this. Great video
YAAY its a must visit! and thanks 😃
We went to Los Cabo’s twice last year. We like San Jose more than San Lucas. Cactus rentals was also who we booked. JW Marriott was really nice.
I liked san jose so much more too! And JW Marriot looks like a dreamm

Hi! What a great video. Will be visiting this August. Wondering on how many days did you rented the car for that price you mentioned?
5 days!
Great tips! I will be there in February for my birthday 🎂

Cabo has their own water desalination plant.
We used Cactus as well and they were great and fairly priced.
Yup! We would totally use it again

@@ScarsThread We are planning a trip for the first week of June, will see
If you pay with a travel credit card car, rental insurance is already covered saving you more money.
Great info - thanks
Glad it was helpful!
What hotels do you recommend ?
Weve only been to the Marquis. It was adults only and the food was pretty good, but we’ll probably check out a different hotel next time!
do we need to reserve the tours or classes before the trip or can we reserve them when we get to Cabo?
Hi, you can do either! We found that booking the excursions at Cabo were a little cheaper, and you're also able to haggle a little. I would recommend this if you have some flexibility with time.
What about the ice in the drinks ?
Ice is generally fine. We had no problems and always had ice with our drinks!
Thanks for the tips! Do they have uber or taxi around?
Yes they do! Im not sure if they have uber at the airport though

besides the japanese restaurant is everything else buffet style food at marquis?
Yes! There are a total of 5 restaurants plus a special buffet style dinner every night.
what all inclusive resort is best for cabo?
we've only been to one, so I can't say which one is the best, but the one we stayed at- The Marquis was pretty nice! I realized though all inclusive is not really my thing
Great video! Just wondering, did you buy CDW (collision damage waiver) or did you go with Credit Card provided CDW? Thanks!
Thanks! Unfortunately, we thought it be best to buy the CDW, and thats what we did. CC coverage seemed like there would be alot of hassle if things went south!
@@ScarsThread thank you so much! I also think it's best to get the additional cdw!
no problem!! hope you have a great time!
Was the car rental $160 a day or for the whole trip ?
Whole trip!

Did they ask for deposit to rent car and if so how much
I dont remember 100%, but i dont think they did!
Rental car… for how long?
Our whole trip! Cactus Rental provided us with free shuttle transport to and from the airport.
@@ScarsThread you rented the car for a week or how long?
5 days
160 what? Dollars? Pesos? Bitcoin?
LOL 160 USD dollars
Everyone’s an expert, there are over 100 videos claiming the same thing.
Do not! Under any circumstances go with anybody who offers you free stuff at the airport.
Book your ALL inclusive with roundtrip transportation.
