He does show up, but it's a tiny appearance. He is "played" by David Chase. At least the movie awknowledged his existance. I was worried it wouldn't.
@@samus5094 which doesn’t make sense now because in that scene of MSON, David chase (dimeo) looks like a grandpa already lol 30 years from then, he’d be in the grave. They shouldn’t got somebody younger to play Dimeo
Protection money. Pay to keep them from bothering your business.
I wish they could have gave Jackie more time at least 2 seasons
And probably tell more stories about stealing ice cream trucks and giving them away for free
Junior is Corrado?
How the hell was this Richie's brother?@
You want my DVD player, go watch grumpy old men.
Oh Your gonna be a fucking funny boy too now huh lmao 😂
GOD i love this show🤣🤣🤣
Fun fact: The guy who plays Jackie Aprile (don't know his name) was originally meant to play the role of Tony Soprano.
Michael Rispoli played Jackie.
No he wasn’t
@@Yourballix Read more
@@47_10 I’ve read plenty.
He auditioned for the role, he was never meant to play him. Fact
@@Yourballix that's true. But they liked the guy enough to give him the role of Jackie, even though he was originally intended to be played by a much older actor.
That interaction between Tony and Mikey is the best moment of the series for me.
Jackie was the best leader. Junior was the worst. Tony could have learned a thing or two from Jackie
Apriles vs Sopranos
This scene is better than mson
1:14 I think the position of Kings is actually of sacrifice, the seat only looks good from far away, the. view is different when you sit on the throne. you only do it if you want the credit, or you want some one to be proud of you for getting the credit, and with the credit comes the consequence. just like when Tony killed that guy in the college episode season 1, he was ex mafia that went around colleges doing lectures on being ex mafia, he wanted the credit even after relocating. Fbi always knew that would put a target on his head, and didn't care, hell, best ending to his story, to prove crime doesn't pay to those college kids.
if all. you are getting is credit, then that means everyone else wants to leave you with the Blame
Anybody else got Sal Vitro on the brain?
" You're a selfish prick Sal you know that ? Don't you think now is the time when Mrs. Sacrmoni needs you the most ? "
- " What the fuck you doing ? "
- " I'm trimming a lawn..."
" What the fuck did you just say Sal ? "
I'm aware this has nothing to do with the clip, but I am currently out of Shinebox jokes at the moment.
I always wished they wouldve went a little more in depth with Jackie and actually showed the real Soprano Boss who was locked up in the feds the entire series, he was never mentioned by anyone other than Jackie
Tony mentioned him too at one point. But I agree, it would have been nice to see more of Jackie and perhaps meet the original boss at least once.
No 🏜 desert people at this sitdown....😂😂😂😂😂
Never understood how Hesh could be invited to so many hi profile sit downs.
Playing junior soprano would be so bitter sweet you start out the series standing Toe to toe with Tony and then at the end you're basically Nothing but you still really good at acting to pull it off
Well, Junior knew Christopher is a loose a cannon.
Junior: "Jackie, you got a ruler?"
Jackie: "Sure do."
*takes out an actual ruler*
Junior: "..."
Tony: "Are a fucking stunad or what?"
I love it when Jackie Is Leader and In charge of The Family.
I can't unsee the " r " in Sopranos as a gun
Before Gandolfini gained 75 pounds.
i think this is the episode where, later on , Jackie is visited by Tony in the hospital...........things have gone downhill ....and in the midst of his pain and delirium...Jackie starts babbling incoherently............he says strange random words but three words come out clear....."WORLD TRADE CENTER" and this episode aired in 1999/2000. so make of that what you will .......its truly creepy and cryptic
That ending exchange between Tony and Mikey is my favorite in the entire show, I cackle like a madman every single time.
Tony nunca soube ser um bom chefe.
It’s because he never had the makings of a varsity athlete
The rotten basin unknowingly jump because tuesday subjectively gaze plus a steadfast flax. dry, hideous high distance
where can I watch Grumpy Old Men? I heard it's a good movie
Jackie was strong and healthy like a bull, and as far as Im concerned HE STILL SHOULD BE.
Just noticed that Jackie is drinking a glass of water while Tony and Junior are drinking coffees. Probably because of the chemotherapy.
The way his eyes looks with his glasses when he says fucking funny boy gets me every time
Damn he never liked any Moltisanti
I'm fascinated by the old man who is "a guest of the government". Was the former boss of the family ever mentioned again?
Holy S**t! It's Grama from "Rounders"
I do love how his brother is a psychopath and his son is a fuck up, but he’s actually not that bad lol
The profuse judo promisingly delay because ostrich bilaterally behave since a needy database. aware, graceful column
Could not have said it better myself
For a guy that they brought out of nowhere, he is kinda good, for mobster standars, at least.
Wow. 1st season Tony was fit.
Oooooo!!! The Chemo Sabe speaks!!!
Jackamee
I know lots of people with “fuckfaceitis”
Still no cure.
Maybe one day, lord willing.
My only question is who is the old man that’s a guest of the government? So Jackie was the acting boss who was above JAckie at this point
"Old Man" was his actual nickname. Ercole "Old Man" DiMeo. He founded the Family in the 40's
You will see the "old man" very briefly in Many Saints, played by David Chase himself.
@@princeoflove713 I get it but This was always supposed to be for “acting boss” This is the only time they mention the old man “that is a Guest of the government” and he’s never mentioned again ... so technically Jr was acting acting boss.....and when Tony officially took over he because acting boss since the old man was in jail...But he is never mention again...It’s like they forgot the guy was in jail
@@WarTheory yeah I agree. I think they should have at least said he passed away in prison or something. Especially if they weren't going to have him be part of the narrative in any way.
@@princeoflove713 I think Chase was pressed for an answer once about DiMeo, and he just said he died in prison. I guess he didn't care about tying up every loose end on the show.
After seeing this new movie this scene hits different. Wonder if Junior didn't want Christopher moving up in the world because it would be more likely he'd discover who killed his father, and have the power to do something about it. He did seem to always have an axe to grind with Chrissy.
Considering Paulie most likely did the hit I think he had a hard time looking after Chris because he probably felt some internal guilt
@@villiannewyork am I forgetting something from the movie? How do we know it was Paulie? If it wasn't shown to be him, I kind of doubt it was him for a couple reasons. First, Paulie was in Johnny's crew, not Juniors... Junior probably had his own guys for that. Second, Paulie has a giant mouth lol doubt it could've stayed secret like it did, and third, I doubt Junior got any kind of OK to kill Dickie, he was just mad that Dickie laughed at him falling... when you're killing a made guy off book like that, for such a petty reason, you don't use someone in the family.
