      @@HaleyMary That's pretty funny. Fwiw I laughed. 😸
Too many people need to get over themselves. We need to be able to deal with tough topics in comedy, and the arts for that matter. It's a way to deal with, process, and get insight into situations, hopefully building empathy and releasing tension.
I keep thinking of Mel Brooks, one of my all time favorites. I'm guessing that the PC police and the maga crew would be in a competition if he was doing some of his stuff today.
Or, I think about In Living Color. Yeah, they used a lot of uncomfortable stereotypes, but it wasn't out of hate, and often the characters made you reflect on why those stereotypes existed. Again, I'm guessing that the two extremes of posturing would be raising a ruckus over some of their work.

We don't think that we are superior to nonmuslims ; we feel blessed to be Muslims n always afraid for this to be taken away, because it can, we don't think that only we can enter the Gardens n we don't think that all other people should be Muslims or forced to be because God told us that he did create us as diverses n we should get to know n learn about each others.

My god you did so well, Sammt Obeid given the extremely difficult male audience in the crowd. Very proud of you as an openly Palestinian!

You are so brave and truthful Sammy. Keep speaking to Americans who are in their own tribe.

There are plenty of us in the US who support Palestinian rights, demand immediate ceasefire and agree that Israel is an apartheid state guilty of war crimes, including genocide. Bless you, Sammy! You were powerful!
