When I watched 'Clannad' I've promised that I will never watch slice of life anime but I broke my promise and watched 'Into the forest of fireflies light'. Both are heartbreaking anime.
Ahh a person of culture. 😌 I rarely see Clannad mentioned in these types of videos, and it’s definitely underrated. I rarely meet people who have watched it. Just thinking about Clannad makes my eyes tear up. 🥺
I absolutely love NANA!!!!! But sadly the author is on hiatus for more than 10 years due to health reasons, its sad that it discontinued specially in the most crucial part of the plot. Still I'm still positive that they'll continue eventually. The coming of age genre is really realistic. I really felt bad for the both NANA of the series.

during highschool i used to rush going home because "say i love you" was aired in one of the anime channel in my country. Then after watching the anime adaptation i decided to read the manga. It's one of my best manga i read, i really love it.
I am currently reading it😊 Im in chapter 13 , i just wanna say 🤔 that the anime adaptation erased Yamato's goofiness , i mean i still love the way the manga is animated but kinda sad because for me the manga is funny and btw were supposed to have a beach episode but they didnt animated it 😭😁 heheHe nothing 🤗 just sharing to someone who already read the manga ✌😘
Nana is not underrated, it was everyone's favourite when it was new, and stayed on the top for years and years. Maybe it's not as famous as it was, but it never gets forgotten. A true masterpiece.

Saw "into the forest of fireflies' light' when I was searching for anime to watch in youtube. It has just so happens that someone uploaded the whole movie so I decided to watch it without knowing anything about it or any expectation. Let me just say, I was a different person after watching it 😭 I haven't watched it again after that 1st time bec it's just so sad. But from time to time, I watch an fmv of it and I'm transported back to that moment when I watched the movie.
My Love Story!! is pretty damn popular though. No. 64 on the most popular romance anime list on animekisa. I absolutely love and adore that show, so don't get me wrong, but why then didn't even less popular, but equally amazing romance shows, make the cut of a best underrated list? like from Re:Life (no. 65) to (in order of descending popularity) Bloom Into You, Plastic Memories and Spice and Wolf, all the way to the very bottom of the lists with Arakawa Under the Bridge and Arte (no. 343 and 385) hiding out amongst the OVAs and dated and forgotten content.

I was hoping the boy would have ended up with the teacher after the very end when he became an adult, but...Makoto Shinkai did not give us romance enthusiasts what we wanted, it wasn't the type of story he was trying to tell.
I haven't watched As the Moon, So Beautiful since it came out....but I don't remember a love triangle in it (which was one of my memories of it....it didn't follow that trope). I may have to re-watch it!

Honestly passed this up since it was a music based series. No.2: Josee: it's beautiful and I still need to complete it. No.1: Nana: I didn't think this was underrated but it may have been over time. I love Romance genre and yet haven't seen some due to misconception. I will watch them for that aspect.

I was hoping the boy would have ended up with the teacher after the very end when he became an adult, but...Makoto Shinkai did not give us romance enthusiasts what we wanted, it wasn't the type of story he was trying to tell.

I haven't watched As the Moon, So Beautiful since it came out....but I don't remember a love triangle in it (which was one of my memories of it....it didn't follow that trope). I may have to re-watch it!

I love Romance genre and yet haven't seen some due to misconception. I will watch them for that aspect.
