Omgosh bf the newest influx with renagades - Adele is my fave female pop artist - i was supposed to go see her in Vegas in August 2023 - hard to get a ticket - had to be invited just to get a ticket but was too sick to travel so gave my ticket to a friend of mine from California who has been so nice to me and supportive. She sings from direct experience, and the relationship she's singing about is not the most recent one (the marriage). It's the one she had in her youth, the one she still bears the scars for - and like many people who had that heartbreak very young it takes a lot of work to remove that emotional baggage. You are sad and hurt but you are also angry. She uses her incredible personal strength and amazing songwriting abilities to exorcise her demons over and over again, and we get to hear her journey start to finish.
