I had a lot of fun making this one - and hope I can do some more with higher quality in the future! Might be interesting to run Collapsed Stadium instead of Area Zero, that way you can drop attackers without needing to make your bench so wide, plus you have a counter to terapagos
I like being able to discard multiple Pokemon at once and it's not quite as flashy - but it could be a solid inclusion since it's 100% quicker and more reliable
I like to run Kieran in decks that cant reach the 1 hit ko and its done wonders especially if you have a way of searching it out. Plus it acting as a worse switch can get you out of sticky situations if you dont need a supporter that turn. Its a pretty clutch card but definitely just a 1 of. P.S. I feel like you would be able to cook up something cool with the relicanth that lets you use previous evos attacks.
Kieran could for sure have its place! Especially since the deck absolutely appreciates another switching option at times I'd love to spend more time cooking with Relicanth - so far I've mainly just done stuff with magnezone ex and the magneton with junk magnet
Love your videos, I'm still riding high on your Well Spring/Greninja deck. Your theory crafting is like no other, can't wait to see the next thing you cook up!
I enjoy this type of video! The in-depth decklist explanation was great and ive never seen anyone do the mid-match pics and tourney game breakdowns before very cool. Subscribed ;)
I was a bit worried about needing 4 energy, but it definitely could be a better option, it has a slightly easier attack cost too, not needing specifically 3 fighting energy
And i think both baby bolt and bolt ex and doesn't rlly needed bcs : 1. All 280hp meta decks (palkia/drago) can be walled by stone-pon. 2. As for stage2 ex's, hitting with bolt is not a reliable winning path bcs of 2 - 2 prize trade and we cannot consistently use raging bolt ex attack each turn I'd play flutter mane + sada to help energy acceleration. 4 glass trumpet is definitely not enough
Great video as always, just a quick question! There is a fighting type groudon from paradox rift that does 60 damage for each energy you discard from your pokemon, and goes up to 4 energy. Maybe it could be a consideration over ting lu? It does 20 more damage at max and doesn't have the 40 damage liability
Thanks mate!!!! Yeah I saw another comment mentioning that too, initially I thought 4 energy was a bit too much, but it's definitely worth testing more cause that 240 damage threshold is super relevant
is good format. looks well edited, like the little guys on the background to show the decks. lot more engaging than the PTCGL videos plastered all over youtube, like to see a real human and real cards.
What do you think of getting in some carmines? Precious carrier might also be solid to get engines set up nice and quick! Would love the addition of squawk but not sure to fill it in ;=; Hope this beings you some insight!
I don't think Carmine is the best fit for this deck, since you can't really find it and don't need as much turn 1 draw, but I think squawk and precious carrier could be interesting!!
I run a regidrago deck with a raging bolt, and it works very well. I wonder how this deck would do against a regidrago or a dragapult? I have all the cards to build this deck except the Terrakion so I'll have to definitely give it a try.
Do one with the new SLOWKING!!!literally infinite attack possibilities!!!nothing more frustrating than an army or random mons destroying the meta lol!!!!the versatility is fun as well cause you can run disruptive/control mons or just full on attack or find your own mix!!!
Glad that I’m not the only one getting absolutely bricked in my opening hands, I’ve been trying out unfezant since fan rotom came out because it makes getting the pidoves in your hand super easy but even with 2 squak, 4 carmine, 4 trekking shoes, 1 secret box and 4 gapejaw bog. I somehow always managed to go first and never find my stadium :/
I wish 😭 Technically Ditto is still using the attack "cavern tackle" (since it's the ability which lets it copy the attack) Rather than mew ex using the attack named "genome hacking" for the effect of cavern tackle
@timdanklin ah see i know you can do it with slowkings Seek Inspiration and have an invincible Slowking but I love this deck definitely using it myself thanks for the content and the response Love the videos man!

I find this postgame commentary with visual aids to be way more engaging than squinting at tabletop gameplay on UA-cam
Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this!!
this is actually one of the better pokemon tcg vids ive seen in a while great work man. I was invested throughout!
Great to hear that I got you invested!!! This actually means a lot to hear

Love to hear that you're enjoying that deck! I'm hoping to post some gameplay of that deck similar to this video at some point
I enjoy this type of video! The in-depth decklist explanation was great and ive never seen anyone do the mid-match pics and tourney game breakdowns before very cool. Subscribed ;)
Glad you enjoyed it!! I haven't seen too many people do this and I'd love to up the quality and make more
Sounds like a thorton angle for sure. Congrats on the result!
Could be interesting for sure, if you end up trying it let me know!!
6:46 most rewarding sub of my life right here
Couldn't have done it without you!!!
You don't need any damage modifier. You just need magma purge groudon for 240 damage and stay as one prizer
I was a bit worried about needing 4 energy, but it definitely could be a better option, it has a slightly easier attack cost too, not needing specifically 3 fighting energy

Wow that is a pretty cool deck and the in person tournament was a real thought test for it
I enjoyed playing it IRL way more than just on PTCG Live
Love it! Ditto is MAH BOI
I'll share any changes I find that can make it shine :)
Would love to hear about how you go!! Ditto is SO much fun
is good format. looks well edited, like the little guys on the background to show the decks. lot more engaging than the PTCGL videos plastered all over youtube, like to see a real human and real cards.
This is exactly what I was going for! I feel like there is a real lack of engaging PTCG content right now - genuinely appreciate the kind words!!
What do you think of getting in some carmines?
Precious carrier might also be solid to get engines set up nice and quick!
Would love the addition of squawk but not sure to fill it in ;=;
Hope this beings you some insight!
I don't think Carmine is the best fit for this deck, since you can't really find it and don't need as much turn 1 draw, but I think squawk and precious carrier could be interesting!!
Have you considered playing dig dig dig drilbur instead of earthen vessels for getting energy?
I think the bench space is too important, plus you do need to find lightning energy as well some games
Love the deck and love the video, can't wait to see more!
Appreciate it!!!! Hopefully there will be more soon 👀
Is there any response to regidrago/noivern’s attack that prevents damage from basic Pokémon? They could just keep spamming that attack
Cornerstone Ogrepon's attack goes through it!
I run a regidrago deck with a raging bolt, and it works very well. I wonder how this deck would do against a regidrago or a dragapult? I have all the cards to build this deck except the Terrakion so I'll have to definitely give it a try.
Their spread damage can be a bit scary but it's super doable!! Let me know how you end up going with the deck 👀
Awesome deck! What company of card sleeves are these pink ones?
Thanks mate!! They're Pink Dragon Shields
@@timdanklin thank you! I hope you make more content for this deck. The learning curve has been tough
Great deck! How did you get 7 energies on the baby bolt to close out game 2?
I think there were already 3 energy on that Ditto - then it was something like 2 glass trumpets, 1 energy switch, and a hand attach
Do one with the new SLOWKING!!!literally infinite attack possibilities!!!nothing more frustrating than an army or random mons destroying the meta lol!!!!the versatility is fun as well cause you can run disruptive/control mons or just full on attack or find your own mix!!!
I might have to try cooking up a deck for that fella - it's a really sick card and I love that you can copy more than just basics 👀
@timdanklin ditto would be proud lol or jealous 😂
Please post what your final deck is. I think this would be super fun to play at my local. 😊
I haven't actually cooked up a final list, but the 60 that I ran at this tournament is still solid enough to take to your own locals!
Round 3 was amazing if I do say so myself. Thanks for the game!!
Thankyou!!! The ending of that game was definitely my favourite 😂
Let’s go slay the spire reference
You're the first one to comment about it!! 🥳

I somehow always managed to go first and never find my stadium :/
I'm praying for your top decks 🙏🙏
Really cool, thanks!
Question couldn't you use Terrakion back to back since it's not using the attack it's borrowing it
I wish 😭 Technically Ditto is still using the attack "cavern tackle" (since it's the ability which lets it copy the attack) Rather than mew ex using the attack named "genome hacking" for the effect of cavern tackle
@timdanklin ah see i know you can do it with slowkings Seek Inspiration and have an invincible Slowking but I love this deck definitely using it myself thanks for the content and the response Love the videos man!
3/3 bibarel is craaaaaazy
Gotta draw cards!!
Well explained video, very accessible.
Cant wait for this deck to win Perth
It will 👽
Love, we’ll made video my man 👌🏽
Thanks mate, appreciate it!!
Are you going to Sacramento regionals?
Unfortunately I won't be 😭
Should include a kyurem in this deck
I love the idea of Kyurem in Ditto, but it wouldn't work in this deck, since I'd need to add in a bunch of water and metal energy for it
@@timdanklin I misunderstood the way ditto worked
Isn't haxorusn better then ting lu 10 more and non basic? I might be missing smth though
Discards from ur deck
Needs a metal energy
Unfortunately Ditto can't copy evolution Pokemon
Ditto can't use cavern tackle back to back as stated on the attack itself.
Yeah that's right, but you can cavern tackle and then use another attack, unlike Terrakion
I find it hard to believe this was a sanctioned tourney with you having a ditto proxy in your deck. Lol
Judges are allowed to provide proxies in cases where cards are damaged
Sick vid, I subbed so u wouldn't wiff.
Saved my terrible hand 🙏🙏
can you attach a copy and paste list?

lol he already had it in the comments i just didn’t read 🤣
Maybe playing a Sada trainer card
Is thorton a missed opportunity or too clunky?
It sounds a little clunky, maybe not with Ditto, but maybe glass trumpet plus Thorton could work!
Peso ball?
I think it could be definitely be strong! I was worried about it being difficult to find
You are at least a little bit funny
