I know Shaheen gets a lot of hate but I like him and glad some people are still using him. I mean, he’s definitely better than almost every other Tekken 7 newcomer, which honestly isn’t saying much.

The combo right at 5:00 confuses me so much. After the launcher, he goes into 3, Stealth Stance into 2, and then connects with a standing 3. For whatever reason I cannot get this to connect in training mode, yet here in this video it connects smoothly. Why can I not get this simple string to connect? Also, after connecting the standing 3, what is the input for that quick kick punch that cancelled into the Stealth Stance cancel WS33? I've been learning Shaheen for a couple weeks now and I've never seen that before.
To do the WS3 cancel from stealth just hold df after whatever moves go into stealth, then immediately hold db for a bit and then let go to neutral. I don't know the exact frames but it's not like a lee cancel or anything, you can legit just hold back so the stealth stance cancels on the soonest frame and then release to neutral to do ws33 for the spin. It's kinda weird but once you hit it once it's easy as hell. Also that kick punch is df4,1 which you can use for a lot of combos and I think it's generally higher damage than doing db2, stealth, 1 or 2 whatever you want for the float to setup for the easier spins to continue the combo.
The combo is 3snk 2 df41 snk db ws33. To go snake from 3 or df41 you need to press df.
tap db and hold for like a split second during the first frames where you can attack in sneak step, different moves have different timings. You will have access to any WS move. If you hold DB you can go into crouching and shaheens crouch is very powerful as you can a low, mid mixup with fc df2 and 4, 1. You can also get an instant slide by just by doing this: Sneak step / hold db/ let go of back (now you are holding down and crouching) / ff3 and you get a slide
Someone please tell me how he did the instant guard break at 0:43. You need to hold duck for a bit before doing u+2, kind of like Yoshi's low sword sweep. Can you charge the duck input during the heat dash, then just mash u+2 as you arrive?
yes it can be buffered during the run animation
You can charge the input during any animation. The game shows you how to do this in his movelist

Nah go for it. I'm pretty new too and mained a Bryan in 7. Idk why but shaheen looked pretty interesting to me and he came pretty naturally unlike most of the cast for me. I've been having a lot of fun with him and I'm glad I picked him up 👍🏾

You hold down while shaheen is running and when the animation ends flick up and press 2 and you’ll get it out

How to input d+3 ,snk cancel to slide very fast, anyone can explain?
Not a cancel. Do d3, neutral, slide input super fast and then hit 3 and it's basically instant. You don't wanna see the stealth.

@@evangel1460 You are wrong though. You can absolutely get a slide from stealth, that was a cancel. D3 / DF / DB / Down (hold) / FF3 to get an instant slide

I dont mean to be cocky but shaheen has so much combo potential youd be surprised. Unfortunately, i dont see any shaheen players utilize it. Alot of people seem to make his combos so complicating to where you have to break your fingers just to enact them. But no, he has combo strings that easily do 60+ dmg that doesnt involve you breaking your fingers. So while yall guys out here breaking your fingers trying to do these wierd combos. Ill stick with my simple 60+ combos😂

Shaheen is so not interesting and unused. I might try him out just because
you're just blindly following what you hear , he's far more interesting that most of the cast
@@karimkj01that’s the thing. People aren’t just following a bandwagon. The character is genuinely uninteresting. If most people played him to test this out and a majority really thought otherwise, this wouldn’t be a stereotype. There’s no such thing as a shaheen main. If you play shaheen, you most likely main someone else or at least know another character as much. He’s just a bunch of solid moves and seemingly nothing unique. Lee style d2, AK/king style d3 (his d4), slides with follow up, db2,1 is just like Lee f2,1 or AK/king f2,1. Thats just off the top of my head. This has been the opinion about him since his release by most people that try him. He’s just super bland. If he’s any interesting now, it’s because they knew he WAS bland. He needed to be changed. I looked at him in practice and yea he got some new stuff that can make him interesting. But he’s a pocket character at best.
@@Lieutenant_john_That'll change soon. There's 2 Tekken Pro Players that are very good at using *Shaheen* & are also competing on Tekken World Tournaments 🙃
