i think it is because woman tie love to sex. for men sex is a function but to love a woman is to care about SOOOO much more about her then just her pleasure. as a man i care my wife's sadness her pain her loneliness her fears her well being. her health her happiness her insecurities her very soul.. this is what makes the whole of a woman her box is only one small part of that equation
This is a common error in thinking. Pain and sadness doesn't equal harm. We all experience pain and sadness, it's part of the human experience.
But similarly, along the same line what is her responsibility to her husband? His feelings, his desires, his vision?
Does he abandon pursuing his vision for the family and grow resentment because of temporary pain and sadness?

@coleensmith1663 and this is also where honesty and communication come into play. for me it is not my way or the highway . it is more i sit down and talk to my wife about what it is that i am thinking and i hear her words and feelings on it then i decide what i feel is best for us. and if the wife i choose was totally against what it was i am trying to do then i comes down to a choice. i have to say to myself is this something that i can do without and still be happy and if so then ok no worries. but if it is not. then if she wants to be with me and have what i can provide in life or she and i move on apart. you also have to always keep in mind you have only ONE life. you only get one chance to live it.

But you say that in a fleshly way. Love is more than that. It's spiritual. You can love multiple people unconditionally and still choose to love one woman. In fact, a woman loves more than a man can ever love. If it weren't for a woman, a nation wouldn't exist, and the love she puts on people it's unexplainable. This is why Jesus said to walk in love, not fall in love. So that you love anyone around you the same way you love yourself and treat anyone around you the way you would want to be treated. And that's your example expressed here. He takes care of both of you equally because he wouldn't want to be treated differently, and those are teachings that every human who believes in God should have. Having multiple parties breaks the incense of spiritual connections and the sacredness of being spiritual beings.
When God says 2 shall become one, he does not talk of the fleshly desires and actions; he talks of the spiritual realm. And that's why marriage is secret. We are not just humans; we are spirits that intertwine with each other. I disagree with the idea of a man having multiple women as much as I disagree with a woman having multiple men.

If you feel and see a change in the husbands behavior even before the second wife is found and married than you will not trust that there will be an equal love and treatment. How to handle this?
Love isn’t meant to be equal. Allah is in control of the hearts. Allah says in 4:129. It’s about equal treatment.
You will never be able to maintain ˹emotional˺ justice between your wives-no matter how keen you are. So do not totally incline towards one leaving the other in suspense. And if you do what is right and are mindful ˹of Allah˺, surely Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Also because men’s hearts are bigger in size than women’s, so they can love more. While women’s hearts are softer & can relent more, but this is nature & our nature can change accordingly to the environment.

How about if the man were to die before all the women, will there not be more conflicts in this large family. Or if one of the women dies, will the other women love their step children as their own? As a man i wouldn't mind having multiple wives but i think the risks in todays society are quite high. Also, are all the women supposed to be under the same roof? Or are they supposed to live in separate houses and if so is the man supposed to support all those houses financially? I'm just looking at how you would do polygamy whilst living in modern society; say if there were not social security or benefits as some call it

We don't live under same roof but in close proximity.
Our family operates a one unit, including when we travel the world and otherwise.
The husband is the financial provider, mainly thru entrepreneurship and passive investments. Wives have learned from husband and are financially astute and also have businesses, not employment.
Leadership is paramount for the husband to get to this point because it requires a man to be exceptional if he desires peace and influence.
@@outstandingpersonalrelationshi Business can be roller coster these days and can you really rely on them to raise large families? I know some tribes that are polygamous in Africa but they usually own big land and live off the land and are not relying much on modern lifestyle. I know people with seven wives. I don't mind polygamy; it's trying to combine it with modern life that I find interesting.
With every opportunity there is challenge and with every challenge there is opportunity.
Risk is a part of life, so is indecision.
However, those who increase their knowledge and skills tend to be able to navigate change.
The men who focus on growth in life tend to reap the largest rewards despite not knowing the future. The story of life is struggle and progress. Decide or don't, but understand the choice is yours.

Men can love two women at the same time. Women can also love two men at the same time if they wanted to. Most woman would not have the desire to have two men. Women chose to be faithful to one man.
Sorry, but we know that men and women aren't the same biologically, physiologically, emotionally, or psychologically so the comparison you made doesn't fly.
The love I'm speaking of is an intimate love where a person gives fully of themselves and fulfills gender roles with them.
Women are inherently monogamous and do not give of themselves fully to multiple men.
So comparing it to a choice to be faithful is disingenuous in our experience.

It’s the fulfilling gender roles part which makes it impossible for women and imho is why more women don’t even bother to think to try. But I agree that if it weren’t for gender roles (and they exist for unchangeable biological reasons), then women could fully love more than one man. It’s possible in most of our hearts and we might like it if it could work out well. But we know that due to gender roles stemming from biology, the likelihood of it working out well is about nil. Just like we know it probably wouldn’t work out well for us to eat raw meat, even if raw meat might actually taste good and be healthy in many ways, we don’t really ever even think about it, because we already know the functional results would at some point be disastrous, so it’s not even an option.
@@outstandingpersonalrelationshi men are capable of being faithful to one woman. 80% of men and 87% of woman are faithful in a monagomous marrage. If a family works with multiple wives great but I would never say it's just part of a man's nature to be with more than one woman. We all will do things based on the acceptance of our religion or community . I'm not saying having more than one wife is a bad thing. I find men that marry and take care of multiple woman very noble. I just don't justify it by saying there made different it's still a choice they chose to participate in.
@@Marwadear512it’s a basic understanding of women, only prostitutes give themselves fully to multiple men. Women fully give themselves to one man at a time. She can have multiple partners but it’s never equal or even remotely close to equal love given. It’s not in their nature.

Me and my husband are raising 8 kids. Never once have he suggested bringing in another woman in our house to do anything. I also believe this is lust as well.

@samanthacaine5029 i think mature men are mature enough to know whether or not theyre capable. Men who lust arent comprehending the weight of bringing another woman into a family. But on a level where we're talking love, i personally think any man has the potential to truly love another woman, without their love for their first waivering. It comes from our natural desire to protect and safeguard where available. Yeah, a man can lust after multiple women. But a man can also have feelings towards caring for and looking after another women, its instinctual. Think of how quick we are to defend our sisters if something goes down. Thats just safeguarding instinct alone
Look at men, we have varying tastes in woman, their looks, their personalities. My wife had such a specific type that i ended up being the only suitor she ever had. I had multiple before and they were all different, if you put them in a room it would look like a UN conference. We just have different perspectives on what we look for
All this to say, i think men have the capability to admire a women for all they are, and fall in love with that without lust really getting in the way. Its harder for women because sex is directly attached to love, and is hard to sever. I think you're talking about men who never got out of their teenage antics. Men naturally do have the ability to love more than one. Admitting it and managing it? Thats another story

I believe women can emotionally love two men, in our hearts and minds. But functionally living out that life is about impossible due to gender roles and biology. So for those who believe love is an action more so than a feeling, then the answer is no.
My sincere question is what is love have to do with? Also you can’t generalize all women
