More of these analyses videos please 🙌 Thanks so much for the amazing commentary on how I have played the smash_king08 umbreon DD NidoQueen team! Also, yes there are times where I see a win condition where I can make a controversial play with Umbreon to soak damage in order to set up one of the other two Pokémon to be a more effective closer. 😀

If you are struggling around 2300, as I did for a while, it is almost certainly energy management and just basic understanding of match-ups that you can improve. I am not anywhere near prominent PvP'er, but having hit Veteran a couple of times that is what i usually experience.
It is not necessary to predict teams to succeed before you get up in the 2600+, i got stuck there last season since i did not have time to go in-depth. :)

One line this team will struggle with is Drapion/Sableye/Swampert, even if Sableye or Swampert leads, this line will struggle with it because if Drapion is swapped in Nido isn't gonna particularly enjoy that match. The best case is Swampert on the swap so DD can handle it and save both shields for Umbreon. Nido is dead weight pretty much against this particular line i've found.

The game where he safe swaps his nido in medicham when the Sableye goes down on the lead wouldn't it have been better if he had stayed in with the umbreon and try to ko the opponent's own nido and keep a full health DD to deal with the medi? Cuz I think you could get to 2 foul plays in that matchup if the nido doesn't throw and even if you don't fully ko DD can farm down. Cuz when he swapped out into the DD Nido had 8 poison jabs worth of energy. This was the only game I believe he could have played differently and still win. Let me know your thoughts on this... am I right or am I wrong? Just an objective thought.

I feel like no matter what I do I will always reach ace rank. Only one other time (season 8 I believe) I reached veteran based on pure luck. Whether watching these videos or using the techniques from content creators it hasn’t made a difference for my PvP run. Once I reach ace after knowing when go battle day is I will tank my ELO down to 300 and then go ham on go battle day for that massive stardust gain. Y’all can tell me to get better or get good but I can’t get better when I have the worse luck in PvP where it’s always hard counter city or loss of CMP tie.

Trust me…it’s not bad luck. As long as that’s your reasoning you won’t ever climb up higher than veteran

@@nicvane8751 then explain what I’m missing then. Counting-check doing my best on that.
Sac swap-check though I lost more on that as they seem to know when I’ll go for it.
Catching-check tried that too no success
Energy management -check farmed up as much as possible before throwing and still lose.
      Shield management-check I lose the 50/50 decisions.
Team comps-check always getting out comped even with teams that look amazing on paper.

@@Sparky92891 it’s a bit more complicated than a checklist of things. All I’m saying is players that consistently hit legend or consistently hit top 50 in the leaderboard aren’t lucky. Just focus on improving you’re gameplay and you can hit legend for sure.

@@nicvane8751 see I’ve been trying for 12 seasons to figure out what more I can improve on for my gameplay. Just recently I wouldn’t have thought to throw on odd numbers on certain moves. Even so it still doesn’t stem from the fact that I can’t progress past ace rank consistently and I’ve gone 11/11 when it comes to not hitting legend and this season will make it 12/12 that I will not hit legend

Hey reis I have a really cool idea I don’t see any other creator doing, that I think a lot of newer pvp players like my self would love:
You can start a series where you can take viable teams and show us in detail how we can use the team to push to legend or more. Just like in this video. Show weaknesses and strengths and how to win from bad leads etc. And you maybe name the series after Kobe’s show “Detail”🐍 💛💜
